Here's one of the more bizarre celebrity stories of the week. Fearne Cotton is one of many celebrities to contribute to the 'Book of Purrems' (book of poems in a more cutesy I-love-my-cat way). Celebrities have been asked to compose their own poems (okay, purrems) about cat ownership and life with the fluffy ones. Others to contribute to the charity book are Colin and Justin, author, Jilly Cooper, Channel 4 Racing presenter, John McCririck, GMTV's John Stapleton and This Morning vet, Scott Miller.
However, Fearne's poem is... well... not that great. It's all for a great cause - money goes to the animal charity PDSA - but even that doesn't excuse the Cotton's murder of poetry. Click on for the full poem!
When I wake in the morning you’re curled around my head
When I walk down to breakfast your under my feet
When I sit down for coffee your perched on my seat
When I'm typing on my laptop you walk on the keys
When I go to get up you jump on my knees
When I clean my teeth you sit on top of the loo
When I put on my socks you sit on my shoe
When I paint my face you nudge my lipstick
When I put on my watch you follow the hands tick
When I go to work you watch me leave
What you do when I'm out I'd love to know!!!
