Today's Mirror reports that CC has landed an eight-part chatshow on Channel 4 after impressing in a pilot shot earlier this year. The All New Charlotte Church Show will be a mix of celebrity guests, comedy sketches, live music and tangerine-coloured rugby players.
So what impressed the C4 bosses so much? Er, apparently gags including calling the Pope a Nazi, sticking chewing gum on the face of Jesus, and smashing a statue of the Virgin Mary to reveal a can of cider.
