John Lennon's mohair suit for sale on eBay
Thankfully not from his scruffy 1970s period either. Instead, this beige mohair suit was worn by John on-stage in 1963, at the height of the Beatles' initial fame. The next year, he donated it to Madame Tussauds, to be worn by his waxwork. And after a few years in storage being nibbled at (slightly) by moths, it's now for sale on eBay for £12,500. Bayraider has all the details.
Also today on Bayraider: a pair of dancing shoes worn by Fred Astaire in several films, which have been autographed by the man himself. And a Japanese Mr Atomic robot, which was made in the 1950s.
