Personally, I despise Coldplay. Their music reminds me of stale gravy slowly and glutenously dripping down the side of a dog's jowl. It seems that I'm not the only one. A Socialite's Life report that a young lady from Seattle "beat up some dude" as he sang Coldplay's 'Yellow'.
The woman, described as a "little hippie girl" bellowed, "Oh no, not that song. I can't stand that song!" She then leaped at the would-be singer, shouted expletives at him and told him his singing "sucked", while expressing the same opinion of the song, according to a Seattle police report. She pushed the man and punched him, all in an effort to stop his singing.
People rushed to the singer's aid and hauled the 21-year-old woman outside. Robert Willmette one of the barmen at Changes said: "It took three or four of us to hold her down." God help Chris Martin if he ever goes for an ale round those parts... well... I say 'help'...
