Goodness, somebody save us! It appears, dear public, that the end is nigh. Chris Moyles is taking over the world. Not content with the prominent Radio 1 morning slot, the rotund fool has been on our TVs this summer on Big Brother's Big Mouth (how apt). And now it seems he is determined to spread his vastness across the big screen too.
After fellow Radio 1 DJ Dominic Byrne asked acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino whether he would consider offering Moyles a cameo, Chris appears to be considering Quentin's offer rather seriously.
Tarantino told Byrne: "If he comes in with $800 I will see him and consider him for the role - $800 is worth my time to see DJ Chris." Fantastically mercenary, that Tarantino. That's the kind of demands I like to see from a man in that position. Perhaps he thought it'd be enough to put off Chris, or that he'd take it as a joke. Little did he know that Chris Moyles is a humourless twat.
A Radio 1 spokesperson told The Mirror: "Following on from his appearances in Hotel Babylon and the hit movie Cars, we think Chris would be a natural in one of Quentin's movies and totally support him with this new film career." Bollocks. (Can I say that?)
