Jade Goody has been burgled. Letting agents found a window had been smashed at the reality TV star’s £500,000 house in Chipping Ongar, Essex and now she fears she might have lost valuables worth up to £30,000 in the raid. Of course this being Jade, she’s not quite sure what was taken, though the house is believed to have been packed with widescreen televisions and other such high-tech goodies. On being questioned by the police on what exactly had been stolen, she wailed "I've been f****ing burgled!" before storming out.
Essex Police confirmed: "We received a report of a potential burglary at Miss Goody's address at 11:09 this morning. Officers were dispatched to the address and it is has now been confirmed as a burglary. Crime officers are now examining the scene." Just to add to Jade’s woes, the examining officers found that the tax disc on her Audi had expired back in August and she quickly raced off to buy a new one. Stealing from Jade – like taking candy from a baby? Or maybe even easier.
