It was announced just before Christmas that pop star Lily Allen was to
be expecting her first child by Chemical Brothers DJ Ed Simons. Many
people have commented on how the daughter of comedian Keith Allen has
grown up over the past six months and this is definitely reflected in
her style.
She also shows that she's keeping it real by refusing offers of creating a maternity range, for some very impressive reasons. "I've had a lot of offers from people to do my own maternity range but I don't think it is the right message to send to young Britain. I'm not the best example. I'm pregnant and a bit young, aren't I? My demographic is generally young girls, so I don't think a maternity line is suitable. It isn't the best impression to give them."
Gone are her chavvy days of prom dresses with baseball caps and instead she is sporting classic couture gowns. The shoot took place in November and Allen shows no signs of a baby bump despite the tight fitting gowns.
