Rhys Ifans retreats to lick his wounds

Dumped by Sienna earlier this month (I mean, who does she think she is?), actor Rhys is off to Wales in an effort to get 'clean', and 'dry' and all those other things that apply only to alcoholics and toddlers who've just stumbled out of the sea. Notting Hill's Mr Underpants has, they say, been hitting the bottle pretty hard since Sienna dumped him over the phone. And when that didn't work he started drinking heavily. He told an (indiscrete) friend: “I’m going back to Wales tonight for two weeks to get out of London and get away from it all. I just want to get back to my roots and be around my Welsh friends for a while.”
