Jade Goody, who is suffering from cervical cancer, has cut her hair ahead of her year long chemo and radiotherapy treatment.
The former 'Celebrity Big Brother' contestant - who has two sons, Bobby, five, and Freddie, three, with former partner Jeff Brazier - decided to go for the drastic restyle after doctors told her it was likely she would lose her hair after going through the gruelling year-long treatment.
The 27-year-old beauty concealed her new cut underneath a white headscarf as she visited a friend in Essex yesterday (05.10.08).
A source close to the star recently revealed she was terrified of losing her hair, adding: "This is not her worst nightmare - that would be dying and leaving her children. But it comes pretty close. She had hoped that she would not lose all her hair.
"But now she has been told that she will definitely lose it all because the chemo will be much stronger. She's really, really upset."
Jade learned she was suffering from cancer while starring in an Indian version of 'Big Brother' in August.
