Having attended Tess Daly and Vernon Kay's wedding reception, I can vouch that they are indeed, a lovely couple. So it's no surprise to hear that Tess revealed she sent husband Vern' to the pub during the birth of their second child.
Daly gave birth to Amber Isabella in London last month after a five-hour labour.
"I kept sending him away to watch the FA Cup Final," she told The Mirror. "And in the last stages I sent him to the pub! There wasn't an awful lot he could do and he was all fidgety and restless. He made it back in time for the birth and he cut the cord."
She added: "Vernon is a brilliant dad. He took the baby for a couple of nights after I came home so I could get some sleep."
