Matt LeBlanc is, of course, best known for his role in Friends. Take one look at him and you think "JOEY!" The only other thing you can probably think of is to say "How you doin'?" Not many actors are lucky enough to get a role as universally popular as Joey Tribbiani from Friends. However, you're warned not to mention it too much because LeBlanc has gone off on one because he's sick of people calling him by his character's name.
Joey is fed up with fans referring to him as his Friends character that he's launched into a expletive-laden rant at reporters on Tuesday insisting the show is "in the past".
At a London Fashion Week party on Tuesday, he vented spleen when he heard the catchphrase.
Apparently, LeBlanc ranted:
"I'm not Joey. Don't you dare call me Joey. The papers say I'm finished so don't you call me f**king Joey. I want to leave that all behind. I'm moving on... I'm not Joey!"
"For the last time. I'm not f**king Joey. It's Matt. Matt LeBlanc. Joey's in the past. I'm trying to do something new."
Oops.
