Amy Childs: Joey Barton needs to "shuut up"

It was only a matter of time before Amy Childs waded in to the most important Z-list spat of our time: footballer Joey Barton vs the TOWIE massive.

The ex-TOWIE star slammed Barton in her magazine column saying he was using the show for publicity. (Err, touche Childs.)

She told Now readers: "OMG, I can't believe what footballer Joey Barton said about TOWIE on Twitter. He was horrible about Arg and Nanny Pat. He obviously watches the show as he knows so much about it and is just jel."

Barton labelled the TOWIE lot "lemmings" and "helmets" on Twitter after seeing them at a party. TOWIE then branded him "jel" (their trademark saying for jealous) and responded with a picture of the cast holding up their pinky fingers.

Maybe we should all move on with our lives now...
