We're struggling to keep up with this one.
Yesterday, we reported that Justin Bieber's alleged baby mama, Mariah Yeater had apparently dropped her paternity case against the singer after her legal team quit. Not so says Mariah's lawyer, Jeffery Leving.
Speaking to Chicago news station WGNtv, Leving said that a confidential DNA test is still being sought and the matter is now being addressed out of court.
He said: "I did not step down and there is a legal team. It's a new legal team.
"In light of death threats against my client, strategies have been reviewed...The case is completely out of control and I don't want something terrible to happen to my client or her child."
He added: "Negotiations are going on right now with
Bieber's council and we're trying to negotiate a private, secure DNA
test with the same safe guards that would exist if there were a court
order, but without a court order."
Looks like we won't be seeing the back of this story for a while...
