In what has to be the most surprising story of the week, a 20-year-old woman has claimed Justin Bieber is the father of her three-month-old baby boy.
According to Radaronline.com, Californian Mariah Yeater is filing a lawsuit against the singer and wants him to take a paternity test.
In court papers obtained by Star magazine (and allegedly filed last October), Mariah claims that she fell pregnant after a backstage tryst with Justin in LA last October when she was 19-years-old and he was 16. He also allegedly admitted that to her that it was his "first time".
If the claims are true, this would mean Justin was underage under Californian law, and Mariah would be guilty of statutory rape of a minor.
In a hand-signed affidavit apparently seen by Star magazine, Mariah claims she was invited backstage by Justin's bodyguards after his performance at the LA Staples centre.
She says in the affidavit: "Immediately, it was obvious that we were mutually attracted to one another, and we began to kiss. Shortly thereafter, Justine Bieber suggested that I go with him to a private place where we could be alone." They allegedly went on to have unprotected sex.
But, Justin's management have slammed the claims, labeling them 'sad' and 'malicious'. A spoksperson told the website: "While we haven't yet seen the lawsuit, it's sad that someone would
fabricate malicious, defamatory, and demonstrably false claims. We will
vigorously pursue all available legal remedies to defend and protect
Justin against these allegations."
Bieber has been dating fellow pint-sized popstar, Selena Gomez since the end of last year.
