Kim Kardashian divorcing after just seventy-two days

In what has to be the shortest marriage since Britney accidentally wed her mate in that Las Vegas chapel about ten years ago, Kim Kardashian has filed for divorce from soon-to-be-ex-hubby Kris Humphries after just seventy-two days of matrimonial bliss.

Citing 'irreconcilable differences' (we reckon she got neck strain because he's way too tall), Kim has already been spotted out without her wedding ring.

According to showbiz website TMZ, Kim went off Kris after he 'hired a Hollywood publicist' and talked about 'branding the Chris Humphries name' with a range of endorsements, including a fragrance. But, Kris is apparently 'devastated' and still wearing his wedding ring.

Although Kim's sisters have taken to Twitter to show their support, Kim has remained schtum. She has insisted in recent weeks though that she has hoped the marriage would "last forever" but the celeb rumour-mill thinks the whole marriage could have been a stunt.

Luckily she has a pre-nup - and hundreds of thousands of dollars in the bank from selling the rights to the big day - to make her feel better.
