Lindsay Lohan finally remembers she's supposed to be in jail

While we were contemplating giving this year's X Factor the elbow (The Risk? Out? Seriously?), Lindsay Lohan was probably trying to fit as much cheap bronzer as possible in to an overnight bag before finally lugging herself to jail.

According to the LA County Sheriff's Department website, Li-Lo checked in to a detentional facility at around 8:40pm (LA time) last night. But, TMZ is reporting that she could be out in a matter of hours due to prison overcrowding.

The actress was sentenced to thirty days behind bars last week after being found guilty of violating her probation. The judge gave her a week to report to the Lynnewood Regional Correctional Facility apparently so she could finish her $1m nude shoot for Playboy.
