Silly story of the day: Pete Doherty 'haunted by ghost of Amy Winehouse'

Before we even try to explain, the above headline apparently has nothing to do with a few too many class A drugs or too much shandy...

Anyway back to the weirdest story since Seb Coe asked Billy Mitchell from 'Stenders to carry the Olympic torch.

The Babyshambles front man has apparently fled his London home because he reportedly keeps seeing the ghost of friend Amy Winehouse.

According to The Sun, he's seen Wino's reflection in windows and her spirit in his bedroom. We could make a joke about vodka here but it would be a tad too distasteful.

A source told the paper: "He is utterly convinced that he has seen her ghost.

"A lot of people will think his visions are probably drug-induced, but he claims he's clean."

He has allegedly fled to Paris after telling friends he's too frightened to return to his house in Camden.
