Radcliffe: "I was allergic to Harry Potter glasses"

Unlike this hilarious bunch, Daniel Radcliffe has revealed that he had an allergic reaction to Harry Potter's iconic specs.

Chatting to author JK Rowling as part of the Deathly Hallows: Part 2 DVD release, Radcliffe said the glasses gave him spots.

"We put the glasses on and eventually realised I was allergic to them", Rowling said.

In case we hadn't understood that he was allergic, he added:

"I was allergic to the Harry Potter glasses because these two rings of whiteheads and spots had come up around my eyes. It took us about a week to realise it was actually the glasses."

We like to think that they edited out the bit where he said: "By that point everyone (including Emma Watson) was calling me four eyes and pizza face". But we made that up.
