Strictly's Artem fractures spine

Before we explain, has anyone checked Kara Tointon's bag for a voodoo doll?

We ask because Strictly profesh (and Tointon's boyfriend) Artem Chigvintsev has been forced to take a break from show rehearsals with dance partner, Holly Valance due to a fractured spine. 

The dancer apparently injured himself in rehearsals last Friday. At first, doctors thought the pain was due to a muscular strain, but he has now been diagnosed with a transverse process fracture of the lumbar spine. Ouchy.

The dancing duo still jived their way to second on the leader board on Saturday night, despite Chigvintsev's obvious discomfort.

Brendan Cole has saved the day by stepping in for the injured pro so Valance can practice for this weekend's show. Bet Lulu's pee'd.
