You know those rumours a while a go that American clothing giant (and the darkest shop in the world), Abercrombie & Fitch offered to pay Jersey Shore's Mike 'The Situation' Sorrentino to stop wearing its clothes? Well apparently they were true, and he's now suing them.

The star branded Abercrombie's offer a "publicity stunt", and has now instructed his lawyers to act according to documents seen by TMZ.

It's thought The Situation's legal team are seeking $4m in damages due to trademark infringement, after Abercrombie released T-shirts allegedly parodying his popular sayings.

The company are yet to respond.
