No Emily Scott romance for Mark Wright who wants to play Bond
After losing out on the jungle king crown to McFly's Dougie this weekend, Mark Wright has made two earth-shattering revelations (scrap that three if anyone still cares about his Lauren Goodger love) which almost made us stop staring at his pecs for two minutes.
Firstly, he won't be taking Emily Scott to Sugar Hut - or getting his posters autographed - anytime soon. Even though Mark's mum thought their romance "could go the distance", the TOWIE star has played down their jungle flirting telling The Sun: "Emily is a lovely person and a very pretty girl but there is no romantic interest there.I am not interested in starting a relationship with her." Shame.
But, he reckons the jungle has helped him get over ex-girlfriend, Lauren Goodger. After admitting his true feelings to Crissy Rock and Lorraine Chase at the start of the competition, Mark's now happy to be single.
He said: "The jungle has helped me get over Lauren. That is behind me and in the past. She is a special person in my life but right now I want to be on my own. I am looking forward to the future.
So what's next for the Essex club promoter? Well aside from jumping out of a plane, it seems Mark's quite up for being the next James Bond.
"There are certainly opportunities that involve acting," he said. "Eventually, I'd love to work in Hollywood - I'm not stupid enough to believe that's going to happen in the near future.
"But as they say, 'Reach for the skies'. I never said I wanted to be the new James Bond but everyone is saying it now so I just own it."
