Looks like The X Factor might be struggling to pull in the big names of previous years, because Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa will reportedly duet with their acts as part of this weekend's final.

According to The Mirror, Amelia Lily will team up with Kelly Rowland to cover Tina Turner's 'River Deep, Mountain High'. Gary Barlow will belt out either Take That's 'Never Forget' or 'Greatest Day' with Marcus (dull, although it might mean Robbie Williams will make an appearance if he's not chewing Johnny Robinson's ear off about UFO's). And, Tulisa will join Little Mix in a medley of Alicia Keys' 'If I Ain't Got You' and 'Empire State of Mind'.

Oh, and did we mention that the performances may also be an Alan Sugar-style job interview for the judges? Yep, big boss Simon Cowell will be marking them from LA before making a decision about next year's line-up (appaz), although Louis is reportedly already safe so he can just gurn like usual.

Suddenly the final just got a bit more interesting. If only for the mental image of Simon Cowell lording it up as Alan Sugar in his high-waistys and Sinitta chipping in like Margaret (forget Karen Brady, she's too stylish).

Let battle commence...
