Breaking news: Britney Spears 'preparing to fly to Australia after Kevin Federline chest pains'

Britney Spears is reportedly waiting to hear if she needs to fly to Sydney after her ex-husband was rushed to hospital during a suspected heart attack.

Former dancer - and father of her two sons - Kevin Federline was competing in a challenge for American weight loss show, Excess Baggage when he reportedly started suffering from 'a roaring pulse' and pains in his chest.

Show paramedics gave Kevin oxygen before he was sent to a local hospital by ambulance.

It's the second time he's been hospitalised during the twelve weeks of filming. He was also treated for heat stress after competing in another task.

Britney divorced Kevin a few years ago but they've remained on good terms. She has since become engaged to manager Jason Trawick, while Kevin is dating Victoria Prince.
