Former soap star Roxanne Pallett is recovering at home after a gang set their vicious dog on her during a train journey.
The unnamed gang apparently started teasing the Emmerdale actress about her on-screen character, Jo Sugden. She ignored them so they took their abuse even further by threatening her with a Staffordshire Bull Terrier.
It's thought Roxanne pulled the emergency cord in a desperate plea for help, but by the time the guard had arrived, the gang had fled.
An onlooker told The Sun: "They started out by calling her by her Emmerdale name, and their abuse got nastier and nastier.
"They started saying how she must think she's
better than everyone else because she chose to ignore them. She was
petrified and thought the dog was going to rip her to pieces."
British Transport Police are now investigating the incident.
