Move over Wossy: Cheryl Cole lands chat show?

After being kicked off The X Factor USA last year, Cheryl Cole's been spending her time designing pricey shoes, showing off her lipsticks (not like a dog) and sticking pins in her Simon Cowell-shaped voodoo doll (we imagine). But now she's reportedly kicked off 2012 by landing her own late-night TV show.

Before you get carried away thinking it might be one of those dodgy naked phone-in majiggys on Television X, it's a chat show that will apparently air on Channel 4 called Late Night With Cheryl. Still sounds like one doesn't it?

Although Cheryl is yet to confirm that this story isn't just made-up because it's a slow news day, a source has apparently told Star magazine: "[Channel 4] know she'll be a massive ratings winner and is the perfect fit to pull in amazing guests".
