She may have returned from the USA last week clutching 6 Grammy Awards, but as Adele scooped the coveted Best Album award at the Brits 2012 she declared "nothing means more to me than being at the Brits and flying the British flag. I'm so proud!"
Despite the fact her acceptance speech was cut short by a very apologetic James Corden (blame the fact that Blur ended the show with an 11 minute medley) Adele looked close to tears as she hugged surprise guest presenter George Michael and thanked the audience.
Very well done Adele!
And is that an engagement ring we spy on her ring finger? Hmm...
