Former X Files and Great Expectations actress Gillian Anderson has admitted that she likes boys and girls.
Gillian told gay and lesbian magazine, Out that she has been involved in a "number" of relationships with women since dating a girl in high school.
"You know, I'm old enough that I can talk about that. I was in a
relationship with a girl for a long time when I was in high school", she said in a recent interview for the magazine.
Gillian's currently in a relationship with Mark Griffiths with whom she has two sons. She also has a daughter from a previous marriage and admits that being bisexual never worried her.
"If I had thought I was 100% gay, would it have been a different experience for me?", she said.
"Would
it have been a bigger deal if shame had been attached to it and all
those things that become huge life-altering issues for youngsters in
that situation? It's possible that my attitude around it came, on some
level, from knowing that I still liked boys."
She revealed that her relationships with both boys and girls in high school were "freaking other people out though".
Gillian has a huge female following.
