Jessie J told to stay in the closet
This week has a bit of a theme: talent show judges and their unauthorised biographies. First X Factor's Simon Cowell, and now The Voice's Jessie J.
The Jessie J biography Look At Me Now, written by Chloe Govan, talks a lot about Jessie J's sexuality and brings up the fact that she was forced by her record label bosses to say that she's bisexual. Apparently being a lesbian wouldn't make her popular. That's right, lesbian pop stars won't have fans.
Jessie J allegedly went along with the plan, because she was scared to lose her Universal contract. But the book says that she was incensed by the plan. The book says 'she was advised not to come out. Certain people thought being bi was trendy... it would increase her allure.'
The singer has spoken about sleeping with guys and girls in the past, and previously admitted having a crush on Rihanna. You and everyone else on the planet, Jessie.
