Victoria Beckham tops Blackwell's 2007 worst-dressed list

The lovely ladies at Catwalk Queen  have been busy today, letting us know the full and juicy results of the Blackwell hot or not list. While 2007 may have appeared like the year for Victoria Beckham to flex her fashion muscle, Mr Blackwell doesn't agree. The fashion critic has named the Spice Girl as the worst-dressed star of 2007 in his annual round-up of celebrity fashion victims. "In one skinny-mini monstrosity after another, pouty 'Posh' can really wreck-em," Blackwell said of Beckham.

The stars to make the list include Amy Winehouse, who comes in at second place for her "exploding beehives and tacky polka dots below."

But it's not just the Brits who are under Blackwell's critical eye, Mary-Kate Olsen entered the list in third place due to her messy style and diminutive frame. "She resembles a tattered toothpick trapped in a hurricane," he said.

Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas, also took a battering for her style choices last year in what Blackwell has described as one of the "most disastrous fashion years in recent memory." Really? I think Fergie's style actually improved in 2007.

50 Cent falls for Big Brother racist

50 Cent aka Arthur Dollar aka the downfall of modern rap music has hilariously fallen for Celebrity Big Brother rent-a-racist Danielle Lloyd. Seriously. Fiddy saw the tits-out ex-WAG backstage at a recent gig at the Hammersmith Apollo and was "hypnotised".

This is the most shameless "I'm not a racialist, honest like" media tactics I've seen since Cheryl "ku-klux" Cole married black footballer Ashley Cole. But what am I saying? They're in love. A match made in scally heaven. Danielle is famed for being a part of the racist attacks on Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty last year, causing ex-fiancé Teddy Sheringham to (sensibly) dump her as fast you can say career move.

But now she's found a bigger money-spinner than those awful boobies as the moronic rap star plans to make Lloyd the star of his new video. He does tend to have an obsession with fake jubblies if his previous videos are anything to go by.

So, if these rumours are true, I can't wait to hear her whining Scouse tones back on our airwaves, hopefully talking about her "brothas" and so on.

50 Cent gets inspired by his bwoy

Not content with being the world's first deaf sounding rapper, 50 Cent also wants us all to give him a big old "aaaw". How? Well, Pifty Pent has revealed that the birth of his son changed his outlook on life and thus, became his inspiration.

The rapper was only eight years old when his mother was killed, and he decided that he would learn from her mistakes in 1997. Of course, '97 wasn't the year of 50 Cent's eighth birthday, but rather, when then-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins gave birth to their son Marquise.

"My little boy is my motivation," he explained. "He's really the reason why I had a real firm focus on writing music. It's weird that my mom went in the opposite direction when I was born. She didn't see welfare as an option, so she started to hustle and the things that came with that lifestyle. And she ended up being killed in that situation."

I wonder if the child is the inspiration for his lyrics? Lyrics like "In the hood niggas know, how I handle my problems I walk up close, and I fo', fo' revolve 'em; Don't make me run to you, put the gun to you, have yo ass on Phil Donahue explaining what the f*ck I done to you. Thug niggas in the street saying I'm sunning you, dude I'll smoke you every motherf*cker under you..." Makes you wonder don't it?

Kate Moss chucks Pete Doherty for cheating

Quite why this long toothed no hoper would cheat on his supermodel girlfriend is beyond me, performance anxiety perhaps? Either way locking lips publicly with another woman is not a good move to make, and choosing a younger model never a smart move. Since then it's all gone downhill for Pete, with a judge ordering him into rehab, which he will enter on July 16th. Maybe this will be the changing point for the Babyshambles singer, and he might be able to use the time as reflection on his life. He's been seen crying and confused, and the split clearly isn't agreeing with him. His possessions have been removed from Moss's flat and when asked for his address in court he started to say Kate's before stuttering and saying, 'Actually it has changed..' Still, there's no wrath stronger than a supermodel scorned.

Queen's Guards take a leaf out of 50 Cent's book

Sounds like the Queen's Guards have been mucking about to celebrate Liz's 80th birthday. The Sun has a story on the busby-clad battalion filming a spoof video where they boogie to 50 Cent's 'In Da Club' (lyrics: "It's your birthday, we gon' party"). Good work fellas! The Sun claims to have the video available to watch online, but I can't get it to work - probably because I'm using a Mac. Damn them...

Hopefully there's a follow-up in the works featuring Fiddy's 'Rotten Apple' (lyrics: "My love live ain't change, the shorties still hug me / Bullet wound in my face, and bitches still love me"). Then again, maybe not. [Stuart Dredge]
