Akon gets overfamiliar with an underage fan

978_akon Now, I don't know much about this new-fangled music you kids call hip-hop. I know it involves flash cars, sexy women, and an awful lot of gyrating, but that's about it. One thing I do know quite a bit about, though, is the law. Laws governing the way adults treat children, laws governing consent, laws governing assault, that sort of thing.

Akon, a famous rapper I've never heard of, seems to know an awful lot about hip-hop. He doesn't seem to know much about the law. At least, I hope not. Because if he did he wouldn't have enticed a 14-year-old girl on stage to gyrate against him in a fake competition to win a trip to Africa, and then flip her over and simulate sex with her, flinging her around the stage like a slowly deflating blow-up sex doll.

And it's all on film, after the jump. Did these boys learn nothing from R. Kelly?

Bling Watch: Mitsubishi Aurora Vision screen

Bigscreen What's a celeb to do nowadays in the home entertainment department, given that any punter can now afford a swanky flat-screen telly? Why, go bigger of course. Okay, so Mitsubishi's new Aurora Vision screen may not actually be for sale yet, but it's been installed at Tokyo's Fuchu Racecourse, so it's only a matter of time before it makes the leap to the Beckhams' back garden.

But why would they want it? Well, it's the world's largest HDTV screen, stitching together 35 LED modules to make a screen measuring 66.4 metres by 11.2 metres. It did cost £15 million to make, but what's that to a world-famous footballer and his pop-millionairess wife, eh?

Bling Watch: Morpheus mood lighting pod

Morpheus Back in February, Craig David gave a memorable interview about his habit of controlling his home using his mobile, and this quote is worth repeating in full: “I can send a text message to my house saying ‘chill mode'. It will dim the lights, put on mellow music and send a message back saying ‘the house is chilled.’”

Cool! Presumably if he's bringing a laydee back, he just sends a text saying 'It's Wednesday'... Anyway, Tech Digest has found a new gadget that Craig would go wild for. It's called Morpheus, and is described as a mood lighting pod. It looks like a normal light, but when you place it in the corner of a room or in front of a flat surface, it jazzes up the room with morphing patterns.

Oh, but hang on, you can't send texts to it, so Craig might not be interested. Still, at around £65, there's plenty of celebs who would be. [Stuart Dredge]
