Dita Von Teese had boob job
Current queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese, has told everyone about her boob job. Yep, the dancer confessed (confessed seems like such a strong, emotive word doesn't it?) that she underwent surgery when she was 21 after years of taking drugs, which knackered up her body. According to Contactmusic, Von Teese said that she began experimenting with illegal substances when she was a teenager and her habit slowly grew out of control during the 1990s.
Apparently, her drug addiction took a huge toll on her figure and she eventually opted to undergo surgery to repair the damage.
She said: "I was a bit of a party girl in the early '90s and used LSD and Ecstasy. Eventually my weight dropped to 6st 7lbs and I looked terrible, so I gave up drugs.
"My breasts never recovered, so when I was 21 I had 32D implants. Now I'm a healthy 8st 2lbs."

Crocs: 'Unforgiveable' says Von Teese
Dita Von Teese has revealed that she cannot forgive people for wearing crocs.
The burlesque dancer said that she was shocked when she recently saw celebrity blogger Perez Hilton wearing the... shoes?
Von Teese told Metro: "I find crocs offensive. I really can't accept those under any circumstances. I was at an airport with Perez Hilton who was wearing those shoes. I was aghast."
The dancer also revealed that she has given up wearing tight corsets on a daily basis, saying: "I'm not really a fanatic for tight lacing. I have a very pliable waist but don't wear corsets every day, as I used to in my early 20s. I like to clinch the waist in but I'm not into body modification so I don't deal with organ moving."

Dita Von Teese's 'normal' Halloween
Burlesque rocker Dita Von Teese, famous for her pale skin and vintage clothes, has revealed she is going to dress up as a "normal girl" for Halloween (31.10.08).
The burlesque beauty - who is famous for her pale skin, red lipstick, raven black hair and love of vintage clothing - jokes no-one will recognise her if she makes herself look ordinary.
Speaking in an interview to be shown on Channel 4's T4 show 'Frock Me' on Sunday (26.10.08), Dita said: "For Halloween, I'm going to look like a normal girl, put some bronzer on, some spray tan on and wear some jeans. People will ask me where my costume is!
"I would never do this in normal life, that's why I'll do it at Halloween. It's a bit funny and people think I'm not wearing a costume but I really am."
Dita recently revealed she has vowed never to wear jeans, because she prefers "expressing" herself through 40s-style corsets and dresses.
She said: "I've always felt that clothes are an important way of expressing how you want the world to see you.
"I don't look down on people who wear jeans and T-shirts, but ever since I was a little girl, I picked out my own clothes."

The burlesque star was flown to the Venetian-themed party by top cosmetic surgeon Dr. Vicki Belo, who was desperate for Dita to perform at the 18th anniversary celebrations for her organisation, the Belo Medical Group, on Friday night (08.08.08).
Dita wowed the 600-strong guests at the event - which was held at the Rizal Ballroom of the Shangri-la Hotel in Makati City, Manila - with her raunchy routine, and joined the rest of the celebrations after her performance.
Wearing a tight-fitting black dress and towering heels, Dita - who filed for divorce from rocker Marilyn Manson in December 2006 - cavorted with men clad only in leopard-print hotpants.
At one point Dita was seen dousing a man in water before running her fingers down his chest seductively.
She later donned a bright red hat before dancing around with a scarlet rose clamped between her teeth.
During the party, Dr. Belo gave 18,000 pesos ($400) to the four guests who were wearing the best Venetian outfits.
Dr. Belo also used the event to launch the Ike and Nena Foundation, an organisation which gives needy children scholarships and offers free surgery to burn victims and people with cleft palates and lips.

The Top Five Fashionistas of 2007
We all have our own personal style icons, from Katherine Hepburn to Nicole Richie, there is always a look that someone can take inspiration from. Here I am going to count down my five favourite fashion moments from 2007, from my five favourite fashionistas of the year.
Number one: Dita Von Teese
Although she
makes her living by taking her clothes off, no-one can deny that Dita shines on
the red carpet. She always manages to look classic and elegant with that
slightly gothic edge. On November 15th when she attended the fashion
industry’s battle against HIV/AIDS at the ‘7th on Sale’ gala, she
looked incredible in this black and gold Marchesa evening gown.

Two: Gwen Stefani
From her time fronting the
ska-fused No Doubt to her Alice in Wonderland themed solo debut, Gwen has
always got people talking about her fashion choices. Over the last few years she
really has come into her own as a style icon. My favourite fashion moment from
her this year was on September 5th when showcasing her Spring 2008
L.A.M.B range. She accessorized her teeny tiny houndstooth
dress, from the range, with the perfect accessory, her son Kingston held firmly
by her side.

Three: Victoria Beckham
Mrs Beckham has had many ‘That Dress’ moments. This year was no
exception. My favourite, and the look that has spawned countless copycats, was
when she stole the show as David signed up at the LA Galaxy football club on
July 13th. Wearing a pink ‘Moon’ dress by Roland Mouret, only seen
on the catwalk days before, with a Pink Birkin handbag, and her blonde Pob, she
takes a nod at the traditional LA look, without going that step too far into
Barbie territory.

Four: Lily Allen
When she started her career, Lily Allen brought a whole new meaning to
chav-chic. With her vintage ball-gowns matched with Nike trainers and gold
doorknocker earrings, she was certainly difficult to ignore. This year she has
still been seen out and about in fabulous ball-gowns, but her taste has become
more refined, perhaps because she is one of Largerfeld’s newest muses. Having
lost weight after a health scare in the autumn, she looks elegant and poised in
this Chanel dress that she wore to the pre-view of the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2008
collection in London.

Five: Katie Holmes
Although Katie Holmes has been criticized by many who feel that she is
dressing at least twenty years older than her age, there is no denying that she
completely outshone Tom Cruise at the recent Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf.

1st Runner Up: Jennifer Lopez
After months of is she/isn’t she J.Lo finally confirmed her pregnancy on the last night of her tour. While her Cavalli designed stage outfits were meant to disguise the bump, the Grecian gown she wore to the Conde Nast Media Groups 2007 Movies Rock at the Kodak Theatre on December 2nd made her look radiant without being over the top, Christina Aguilera take note.
2nd Runner Up: Keira Knightley
It has to be Keira in the green dress she wore in Atonement. Although not strictly a fashion moment as it was confined to celluloid, there is no denying the fashion world sat up and took note of this 1940s wonder, with countless fashion spreads on how to perfect this look, many featuring a version of that dress.

Dita Von Teese shames ex-hubby Marilyn Manson with true style
Dita Von Teese might make her living out of taking off her clothes but there's no denying the lady has class by the bucket load. I'm a massive fan of burlesque, but my opinion aside this lady could show many a ridiculous celebrity how to handle fame and public break ups. I'm looking at you Ms. Spears.
Following her none-too-dignified break up with famed rock frontman Marilyn Manson, Dita has kept her ruby lips sealed and with a stiff upper one at that. If you don't know, Manson ran off with Evan Rachel Wood who's half his age, leaving his wife in the lurch. But Dita has left him behind in the fame stakes.
Finally she's loosened her strict rules on commenting on her ex-beau and given us a few gems in the process. Speaking to Radar about her disappointment that Manson's views on their split had been "exploited for record sales", she noted acerbicallly: "'Shock rocker', I suppose. That was the shock."
Fantastically, when asked whether the press had misrepresented her in the Manson interviews, Von Teese quipped: "I don't think it was the press. It was a matter of, 'Hey, maybe you [Manson] shouldn't drink absinthe and do cocaine and do interviews all at the same time.'... No, I don't think it was the press. It was drinking and interviewing."
That's him told, eh? If he wasn't kicking himself for shunning this sought-after starlet already, he soon will be.

Dita loves a dirty home video
Dita Von Teese might be best known on these shores as being the ex-Missus of shock rocker Marilyn Manson and for being a burlesque star (isn’t that just stripping with an ironic wink?), but now she’s about to make friends with every guy ever. Not content with making men happy with her miniscule outfits, she has now confessed to Now! Magazine that watching other people has sex gets her all turned on. Come on Dita – give the rest of us girls a chance. How are we supposed to compete when such admitted kinky predilections are going to have all men whining, “But Dita likes it.”
Dita believes “amateur pornography is a great thing. You can find something for everyone on the internet. So long as no one's hurting anyone or involving children then hey, what's wrong with that? People love watching other people having sex. I'm not different.” And to think I use the web to buy music and watch YouTube clips.

Dita Von Teese rides a lipstick like a pro for MAC's Viva Glam Campaign
Your lovely Star Trip writers were lucky enough to see this burlesque beauty live last night at the star studded bash in Bloomsbury Ballroom. The divine Dita teased and twirled for the audience as she did a seductive strip tease down from her sparkly to corest to shiny nipple tassels as she wiggled for our pleasure. There was a definite cowboy theme going on as she was surrounded by hot half naked men wearing tassels and cowboy hats ( which Kim from Catwalk Queen definitely approved of!).We were surprised by quite how tiny Dita is in person, a mere poppet, with the famous tiny waistline and dinky stature.
The MAC campaign donates all money from he sale of the Viva Glam gloss to HIV Charities, so you can pout and donate to a good cause simultaneously. Dita is a big fan of MAC products and shares her beauty advice with us. 'My number one tip is to 'wear the make up you want to wear and not necessarily what the beauty an fashion magazines tell you.'
She continued to elaborate on her performances, 'A lot of actresses tell me they like what I do Sharon Stone, Demi Moore, Jennifer Lopez and Eva Mendes have all said they like my act. Women are enjoying playing dress-up, finding a new version of what they think is sexy and embracing the spirit of glamour and the power that they have when they dress up. The whole idea of burlesque is you give your audience whether it's in a theatre or just your boyfriend or whatever only what you choose to give them.'
The burlesque movement is all about empowerment and bravado and allowing women to take control of their bodies in a positive way and that is a great ethos to live by.

Dita Von Teese at Dior Fashion Show
Looking very much the glam fan lady, Dita's trademark red lips and nails put in an appearance backstage at the Dior 2008 Cruise fashion show. Mingling with the mighty this porcelain skinned lovely dances and drinks with Galliano, with no hint of a Marilyn on her mind. The burlesque beauty is seen scoping out next season's styles and looking like she's actually eaten for a change- see Dita here if you want the skinny. It's good to see her out and about though, as she says, 'My first priority is work and having a good time and spending time with my friends and family. I want to be a single girl for a while.' Long live the queen!

Now, I think we all knew that Dita Von Teese had a very trim waist already, no? For the love of God, it's 21 inches wide. But here she is, in a corset that is 16 inches wide. The size of a three year old's waist. Reportedly, Dita starves herself before a burlesque performance, by only eating protein and small portions of steamed vegetables. Um, am I the only one who thinks this is extremely not sexy? Dita, eat a freakin' burger.

Marilyn Manson and Dita Von Teese call it quits
Burlesque Queen Dita Von Teese has filed for a divorce from her wife husband, rocker Marilyn Manson. Von Teese has sited the typical Hollywood excuse for the divorce as "irreconcilable differences". I wonder if the said "differences" were arguments of "No I'M the prettiest!!" or if Manson lost one of Von Teese's feather boas after he borrowed it without asking.
Apparently Von Teese filed for divorce before Christmas, but it wasn't until now that she could even find Manson to serve him the papers. A "friend"told Page Six, "She tried to tell him she was divorcing him, but she can't even get him on the phone. She's moved out of the house and he hasn't even noticed." Nice, huh? You'd think after a seven year long courtship and one year of marriage it wouldn't be so ugly this early in the divorce proceedings.

Wonder If Hubby Marilyn Manson Will Be Attending?
Venerable sex-kitten Dita Von Teese has stripped for many a cashed-up 'sleb, but I bet stripping for Posh and Becks will be an experience she'll never forget. The ubiquitous couple have booked the burlesque stripper for their pre-World Cup party, an insider told the Mirror 'The party has a slightly naughty theme and Victoria and David just feel that Dita will be perfect.' Now, I wonder what 'naughty' means to Posh and Becks - Perhaps we can expect to see a slobbish, unmade-up Vic drinking Fosters, with David sporting a week's growth on both his face and legs? Anyone got a spare invite to what's being touted as the 'highlight of the showbiz calendar' ? Rats, I guess I'll have to wait for the photos to appear in OK! magazine along with everyone else.
