Matt LeBlanc is, of course, best known for his role in Friends. Take one look at him and you think "JOEY!" The only other thing you can probably think of is to say "How you doin'?" Not many actors are lucky enough to get a role as universally popular as Joey Tribbiani from Friends. However, you're warned not to mention it too much because LeBlanc has gone off on one because he's sick of people calling him by his character's name.
Joey is fed up with fans referring to him as his Friends character that he's launched into a expletive-laden rant at reporters on Tuesday insisting the show is "in the past".
At a London Fashion Week party on Tuesday, he vented spleen when he heard the catchphrase.
Apparently, LeBlanc ranted:
"I'm not Joey. Don't you dare call me Joey. The papers say I'm finished so don't you call me f**king Joey. I want to leave that all behind. I'm moving on... I'm not Joey!"
"For the last time. I'm not f**king Joey. It's Matt. Matt LeBlanc. Joey's in the past. I'm trying to do something new."

Jennifer Love Hewitt You know her? Men fancy her and she's all famous? Well, even she can have a bad time of it when it comes to affairs of the heart - 'affairs' being the operative word. Yep, the actress has revealed that she has been cheated on "a lot" in her life. There's no hope for any of us plebs is there?
The Ghost Whisperer star, who recently split from her co-star Jamie Kennedy, said that she once even walked in on an ex-boyfriend with someone else.
Love Hewitt said: "It's brutal. Once I found out on television and that was awesome. And then another time I found them together... and that was, woooo! That was not good."
The 31-year-old said that she once found out that a boyfriend was cheating on her because she "had a feeling" and then "found phone stuff".
She said of Kennedy: "He really taught me how to look at the reality of things like love whereas I had my head in the clouds before. He very much taught me some things and he taught me a lot about men and what they think."

Breaking news time. Actor Corey Haim has apparently been found dead after a suspected drug overdose. He was 38 years old. Haim is best known for his '80s Hollywood career where he was something of a pin-up. He starred Lucas, Murphy's Romance, License to Drive and, most famously, appeared in The Lost Boys.
He collaborated on a number of occasions with Corey Feldman with the pair being dubbed "The Two Coreys", which inspired the TV 'reality' show titled The Two Coreys which aired in 2007.
However, Haim fell for the trappings of fame and became addicted to drugs.
After spending time in rehab. Haim said, "I started on the downers which were a hell of a lot better than the uppers because I was a nervous wreck. But one led to two, two led to four, four led to eight, until at the end it was about 85 a day -- the doctors could not believe I was taking that much. And that was just the Valium -- I'm not talking about the other pills I went through".
Quite recently, Haim appeared to have overcome his drug habit, saying: "I'm clean, sober, humble and happy."

2009 has the dubious honour of being the one most filled with surprising deaths. The most recent, and in it's own way, the most shocking, was the passing of Brittany Murphy. 32 years old is no age to go out. Now, the husband of the late actress has spoken about how his world was "destroyed" when she died on Sunday. British screenwriter Simon Monjack, who married Murphy in 2007, said that his wife was "tired" and suffering from laryngitis in the days leading to her death.
"My world was destroyed yesterday," he told Access Hollywood.
LA's assistant chief coroner Ed Winter yesterday said that Murphy's death appeared to be "natural" and that her family had reported that she had been ill before her death.
Stars such as Ashton Kutcher, Denise Richards, Kirstie Alley and Alicia Silverstone have paid their respects to the Clueless and 8 Mile star.

Oh dear. Reading that headline, you may well think that Everyone's Favourite Corpse, Robert Pattinson, is a bad man. Or a weirdly kinky man. He's neither (well, that we know of). You see, Pattinson has recounted how awful he felt when he jokingly told a female fan to take her clothes off. Asking for trouble really. Speaking on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the Twilight star admitted that he made the quip after the woman asked how she could get his attention while he was signing autographs.
The incident happened "after a period of signing 500 signatures."
"You kind of get ten seconds with each person and you never really say anything and I kind of got bored of saying, 'Hey, how are you doing?' [A fan] said in her ten seconds, 'What can I do to get your attention?' I was like um, just take your clothes off.'"
He went on to say: "She stood there and frantically started taking her clothes off and got dragged out of the room by security. I never felt more terrible... I sound like I'm actually just abusing my position."
Zoinks. That said, there are clearly a lot of women out there who would do exactly the same!
The Twilight Saga: New Moon is released everywhere this Friday.

Some films are just instantly quotable. You walk away repeating the lines over and over and hatching up schemes to use them in public. However, chances are, at some point, you've retold a famous line wrongly. LOVEFiLM have compiled a poll of the most misquoted lines in movie history and Star Wars came out on top, with people saying "Luke, I am your father" ha despite the fact that Darth Vader never said it in the first place (he said "No, I am your father...").
Read over for more
Communications manager Darren Bignell said: "Iconic film lines are part of everyone's vocabulary these days, but it's interesting how years of quoting have had a Chinese whisper effect on accuracy."
The top ten misquotes were:
"Luke, I am your father" - Star Wars V: The Empire Strikes Back
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the fairest of them all?" - Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
"Do you feel lucky, punk?" - Dirty Harry
"Play it again, Sam" - Casablanca
"Hello, Clarice" - Silence of the Lambs
"Beam me up, Scotty!" - Star Trek: The Motion Picture
"Frankly, Scarlett, I don't give a damn" - Gone with the Wind
"If you build it, they will come" - Field of Dreams
"I don't think we're in Kansas anymore, Toto" - The Wizard of Oz
"Mrs. Robinson, are you trying to seduce me?" - The Graduate

In a statement, his publicist said: "Josh Hartnett walked into an ambulance...suffering from a flare-up of a gastrointestinal problem that plagued him while he was starring in the West End of London during the production of Rain Man."
She added: "He is under observation, but is resting comfortably." According to BBC News, the actor was briefly diagnosed in London with the same condition last November.

The Oscar-winning actress and her family have created The Hudson-King Foundation for Families of Slain Victims, set up in honour of Jennifer's mother Darnell Donerson, brother Jason Hudson and seven-year-old nephew Julian King, who were all fatally shot last week.
A statement explained: "The specific purpose of the foundation is to care for the needs of families who have lost relatives to a violent crime. This encompasses their basic needs of food, clothing and shelter as well as grief counselling."
The news follows a prayer vigil for the victims at Chicago's Pleasant Gift Missionary Baptist Church.
Reverend Jesse Jackson, a close friend of the family, said: "They are all overwhelmed by the suddenness and the unexpectedness of it all. This family knows triumph, and they also know tragedy."
It has also been revealed William Balfour, the estranged husband of Jennifer's sister Julia - who has been named a "person of interest" in the case and is currently being questioned by police about the triple homicide - had a huge argument with Julia, Darnell and Jason a month before the tragedy.
A source, who referred to William by his nickname of 'Flex', said: "Flex tried to start a fistfight with Jason, and James Peyton, Jennifer's ex-fiance, beat up Flex. Flex then began to threaten the family, saying he would kill Julia and mess up everyone in the house.
"Flex was crazy, but Jason never took him seriously. Jason always thought he would be safe, that he could protect himself."
Yesterday (30.10.08), a senior police source claimed 27-year-old William had refused to take a polygraph (lie-detector) test.
Darnell, Jason and Julian will be laid to rest by the rest of the Hudson family in a private memorial service on Monday (03.11.08) in Chicago's Apostolic Church of God.
The former Bond girl flew into a rage at the 'Quantum of Solace' premiere after-party at London's Battersea Power Station on Wednesday (29.10.08), and left the reveller so scared he eventually fled.
A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "The guy looked totally freaked out. He accidentally brushed past Grace and stepped on her fur coat which didn't go down well.
"He didn't know where to put himself when she started yelling - Grace can be quite scary. He just kept apologising and then ran as soon as her friends stepped in."
Grace - who starred as villain May Day in 1985 Bond movie 'A View to a Kill' - eventually calmed down, but promptly caused further mayhem by lighting a cigarette in the VIP area of the party, even though smoking inside bars and restaurants is banned in Britain.
Party organisers attempted to persuade Grace to extinguish her cigarette but she refused.
The source added: "Everyone else forced themselves outside to smoke in the cold. But Grace was having none of it."
Grace - who is reportedly 60 but refuses to confirm her age - recently admitted she prides herself on being "intimidating and scary".
The singer added she is not like a "normal" woman, and knows her persona can frighten people.
When asked if she has always been so scary, Grace replied: "Oh, I'm sure I have. I used to drag people up on stage and whip them. You can't get more intimidating than that. My husband used to shout at my mother, 'What is wrong with your daughter? I'm married to a man.' "

The Oscar-winning actress - who has been left devastated by the fatal shootings of her mother, brother and nephew - is so worried about her own safety she is refusing to leave the undisclosed hotel where she is being protected by bodyguards.
US blogger Liz Crokin alleges: "I can't disclose where Jennifer is staying - I can just tell you it's a hotel. She has bodyguards and the hotel she's staying at has a great security team. She only left to go to the medical examiner's office on Sunday night (26.10.08)."
Jennifer's brother-in-law William Balfour, the estranged husband of her sister Julia, has been named by police as the "person of interest" in the case, while other sources admit he is the chief suspect.
The 27-year-old is being held by police on charges of parole violation, and is also being questioned regarding the triple homicide.
Meanwhile, police found a handgun in an abandoned Chicago car park yesterday (29.10.08), which they believe was used in all three shootings.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times newspaper, officers discovered the weapon less than a block away from where they found the body of Jennifer's seven-year-old son Julian King in the back of a white SUV (sports utility vehicle).
October 29, 2008 12:36 PM
Julia - whose mother Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason Hudson, 29, were also shot dead at their Chicago home - thanked people for paying tribute to Julian King on her MySpace blog.
She wrote: "Thank you for all your loving support. I know some of you have your opinions and you are entitled to that, like why is she logging onto MySpace at a time like this. Let me tell you why - I was hoping it would be a way to maybe help me get my son, my baby, the one I carried under my heart for eight-and-a-half months, the son it took me 21 hours of labour to bring here, the son I grew to know and love for just a few months over seven years - that's why.
"And now for those of you who actually cared, thank you for all your words of encouragement, thank you for your prayers. His little soul is at ease, I take comfort in knowing that Julian is with my mother and my brother and most of all, the Lord. Now he is my angel - he is protecting me."
An autopsy confirmed yesterday (28.10.08) Julian had died of "multiple gunshot wounds", and his death was ruled a homicide by Chicago County's medical examiner's office.
It has since been reported Julian died of two shots to the head.
Julia's estranged 27-year-old husband William Balfour, who served seven years in prison for attempted murder and carjacking in 1999, is currently in custody being questioned about the triple-murder.
After reportedly refusing to cooperate with police, William - who is not Julian's father - is now being held for a parole violation but has yet to be charged with a crime.
William's alibi for the day of the murders is said to have been contradicted by his girlfriend.

Julian King - the seven-year-old son of Jennifer's sister Julia - was discovered in the back of a white Chevrolet Suburban SUV (sports utility vehicle) in Chicago's West Side District early yesterday morning, Superintendent Jody Weis of the Chicago Police Department confirmed.
It has been reported Julian had suffered multiple gunshot wounds.
Jennifer had offered a $100,000 reward for the safe return of her nephew - who had been missing since Friday (24.10.08), the same day her mother Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason Hudson, 29, were shot dead at their Chicago home - and issued an appeal for help in locating his whereabouts.
Jennifer officially identified the body along with other members of the Hudson family on Monday afternoon.
Mourners later organised an "impromptu" vigil outside the actress' family house in Chicago, and left teddy bears and flowers as a tribute to the deceased.
Jennifer's brother-in-law William Balfour - her sister Julia's estranged husband - is currently in custody being questioned about the triple-murder.
At the time of writing, police had confirmed 27-year-old William, who served seven years in prison for attempted murder and carjacking in 1999, was being questioned in relation to the killings.
After reportedly refusing to cooperate with police, William - who is not the boy's father - is now being held for a parole violation but has yet to be charged with a crime.
William's alibi for the day of the murders is said to have been contradicted by his girlfriend.
However, Superintendent Weis said he was "pretty optimistic" about finding the killer, adding: "Often there's lots of evidence left at a crime scene so I'm very confident that our forensic technicians will go through both areas with a fine-toothed comb, and I suspect there will be some evidence that will link us to the killer."
Referring to William's connection to the case, Weis said: "We are following any lead that we can get right now. He's a person of interest, but that's not to say that there's not other individuals that may turn up. Right now we are just following the facts we have and we are following the evidence we have."

Seven-year-old Julian King was missing from the scene where the bodies of the 'Dreamgirls' star's mother Darnell Donerson, 57, and brother Jason Hudson, 29, were found in Chicago and the actress-and-singer has appealed for help in locating his whereabouts.
Her publicist Lisa Kasteler issued a statement saying: "Jennifer and her family appreciate the enormous amount of love, support and prayers they have received while she and her family try to cope with this tragedy and continue the search for Julian.
"We ask that all inquiries be directed to the Chicago Police Department, Area 1 Detective Division at 312/747-8380."
Jennifer also posted a message on her MySpace page yesterday (26.10.08) - the day after her sister Julia, Julian's mother, made an appeal at a press conference - to thank fans for their support.
Alongside a picture of the youngster, she wrote: "Thank you all for your prayers and your calls. Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately. Here is a picture of Julian and what he was last seen wearing. Once again thank you all for being there for us through this tough time."
Meanwhile, US presidential candidate Barrack Obama - a senator for Illinois, the home state of Chicago - has offered his support to Jennifer and her family.
He said: "My wife Michelle and I were absolutely heartbroken to learn about this unimaginable tragedy and we want Jennifer to know that she is in our thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. We also pray for the swift and safe return of her young nephew."
Jennifer's brother-in-law William Balfour - Julia's estranged husband - is currently in custody being questioned about the double-murder and the boy's disappearance.
At the time of writing, police had confirmed 27-year-old William, who served seven years in prison for attempted murder and carjacking in 1999, is a suspect for the killings but is yet to be charged.
He was arrested just a few hours after the bodies were found.
Police have revealed they are talking to several other people in connection to the incident.
The suspect's mother, Michele Davis Balfour, defended her son yesterday, saying she did not believe he was involved in the killings.

The 'Rachel Getting Married' actress - who made her Broadway debut in 2002 show 'Carnival!' - has reportedly been having closed door reading with producers of new musical 'Promises, Promises'.
Theatre website Broadway World claims: "We have just got an exclusive account of a top secret, closed reading that happened over the weekend. Our guest, who was invited by one of the actors, reports that there was a full table reading and sing-through of the musical 'Promises, Promises' by Neil Simon, Burt Bacharach and Hal David.
"The reading starred Sean Hayes and Anne Hathaway along with a full cast plus several background singers, and was staged by director/choreographer Rob Ashford."
The show bosses are believed to have been overwhelmed by Anne's performance and excited by the chemistry between her and 'Will and Grace' star Sean.
The website added: "We're told that Hayes and Hathaway stunned the audience with their performances (both singing and acting) and that they garnered many huge and consistent laughs throughout - as well as a few tears."
'Promises, Promises' is a comedy based on Billy Wilder's 1960 movie 'The Apartment'.
It originally ran on Broadway from 1968 to 1972, with a total of 1,281 performances.
The 'Two and a Half Men' actor and his blonde spouse - who wed in Los Angeles on May 30 - will be adding two sons to the family when Brooke gives birth in April.
Charlie, who has two daughters with ex-wife Denise Richards and a daughter with former girlfriend Paula Profitt, told America's OK! magazine: "I'm truly blessed. I'm already the proud father of three beautiful daughters, and I'm delighted that they'll now have two little brothers. Life doesn't get any better than this!"
After announcing he and Brooke were expecting their first child together in August, Charlie, 42, said: "Brooke and I are thrilled! She's the best stepmom my children could ever hope for. Seeing her love and affection with those three, I know she'll be an amazing mom."
Brooke, 31, is said to be suffering from severe morning sickness, according to her mother Moira Fiore.
She said: "Brooke has had all day morning sickness but is coming to the end of the first trimester so she hopefully will feel better soon. It has been rough for her. But Brooke looks so beautiful. She is just glowing."

The 22-year-old actress dined with friends at New York's Bottino restaurant last week, but waiters were furious to discover someone in the party had left the used confectionery alongside their payment.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Mary-Kate was eating and drinking red wine with two guys at a front room table. At the end of the meal she pulled out a wad of cash to pay the bill and left a nice tip.
"But there also a wad of balled-up, chewed gum on the table. The waiter was annoyed."
This is not the first time Mary-Kate has been accused of anti-social behaviour. Last month, she and her twin Ashley were branded "disruptive, intrusive and totally disrespectful" by their New York neighbours.
The twins - who shot to fame when they starred on US TV show 'Full House' in 1987 - angered the West Village residents with their constant partying.
One resident said: "Mary-Kate and Ashley are two spoiled brats who change the character of the neighbourhood."
Another added: "It is a peaceful, quiet street. Plenty of other celebrities around this block - Sarah Jessica Parker, Liv Tyler, Gisele Bundchen and Julianne Moore - are good neighbours and blend in with the neighbourhood - but these two are invaders."

The 34-year-old actress - the face of the new Calvin Klein underwear campaign - can't stand working out inside, and much prefers to enjoy the outdoors while exercising.
She said: "I work out once a week doing light weights but on the whole I find gyms so grey and so ugly - I don't want to listen to bad techno music on a treadmill.
"I prefer to go running near my house in Los Angeles with my dog or my neighbour, which I do around five times a week. And I go uphill too, which is hard!"
Eva also revealed she never watches what she eats, preferring to compensate for her bad habits by exercising afterwards.
She added to Britain's Glamour magazine: "In the car on the way here I had six chocolate chip cookies! But that means extra time working out later. I'll say to myself, 'I can eat this pizza right now, but I will have to add an extra 30 minutes to my exercise today'. Sometimes it's worth it, sometimes it's not."
The 'High School Musical' star claims avoiding his female fans and paparazzi every day makes him feel like a secret agent.
He said: "I'm always bobbing and weaving through alleyways trying to get to meetings, scouting out and looking outside doors and running around like Jason Bourne.
"I have always loved secret agent movies, whether it be James Bond films or 'The Bourne Identity'. Now I'm kind of living it."
Zac also revealed that while the majority of his fan base used to be schoolgirls, the Disney film franchise has now proven a hit among females of all ages.
The 20-year-old actor added: "It used to just be that I had to worry about elementary schools. But now...who knows?"
The actress, who lends her voice to the character of Chloe in hit new animation 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua', loved landing a role in the family film because it gave her an excuse to act immaturely.
She is quoted as saying: "Maybe I have not grown up. I am 33 years old and I am doing the voice of a Chihuahua in 'Beverley Hills Chihuahua' and it feels completely right.
"I do not know how you are supposed to feel when you are growing up or how one feels when you are growing up but I still feel young."
Drew recently revealed she was happy being single and was learning to please herself rather than the men in her life.
She said: "My priorities have changed so much. I've been single for months now and I've turned my attention toward my passions, my friends and the causes I believe in. It's been about learning who I am, not through a man, but for myself.
"I'm so happy with where my priorities are right now."

The 71-year-old actor - who is notorious for his womanising ways - believes he has reached an age where it "doesn't look right" approaching young women in public.
He told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It's not so nice when you are 71 and looking for some action. I feel uncomfortable doing it in the limelight - so from now on I'll do it when it's right.
"Happily, when it comes to girls hitting on me, I'm not undernourished."
The Oscar winner - who features in Maxim magazine's Top Ten Living Legends of Sex list - has allegedly bedded 2,000 women and has six children by five different partners.
Earlier this year, the Hollywood legend claimed he needed to take Viagra pills to help him when he has a threesome.
He said: "I like to date a nice range of women each year, but I only use Viagra when I am with more than one."
The 'Carnal Knowledge' actor previously claimed men are like dogs when it comes to sex because they forget about their lover an hour after being intimate with them.
He said: "We have more in common with a male dog than we do with a woman in this department.
"This may be male chauvinism in a certain context. But, baby, it's also science!"

The 'High School Musical' star was leaving the Apollo Theatre with girlfriend and co-star Vanessa Hudgens on Wednesday night (08.10.08) when the middle-aged man lunged at him, prompting his five security guards to intervene.
One onlooker said: "It was pretty scary. No-one knew who this guy was or what he might do. You hear of all sorts of attacks on stars.
"Zac was just walking past when he started ranting at him, then lunged forward pointing at him and tried to grab his hair. It was bizarre.
"Zac looked pretty startled and shaken. Fortunately his bodyguards were there, or God knows what might have happened."
The 20-year-old actor's spokesperson said he is putting the incident behind him.
The representative added: "He's OK. He wasn't in danger, but he is glad his people were around to step in.
"He won't let it tarnish his view of London. He's really enjoyed himself here this week."
Zac and Vanessa later joined their co-stars Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu for dinner at the nearby Floridita restaurant.
A source noted: "He was quite relaxed and looked like he was enjoying himself.
"Some of them were dancing to salsa music, so they must have put the scuffle out of their minds."
The cast were in England promoting 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year', the latest instalment in the Disney film franchise.

The former 'Friends' star - who has a four-year-old daughter Coco with husband David Arquette - insists she wouldn't have the cosmetic procedure again.
Courteney, 44, said: "Botox? I think it's fantastic and also horrible. I mean, they've come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry. But you have to use it sparingly.
"I went to this doctor once and he was like, 'Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.' And I was miserable. I mean, I'm an actor, I've got to be able to move my face.
"When people start messing with their foreheads and can't lift their eyebrows, that's weird. It's not that I haven't tried Botox - but I hated it."
Courteney also revealed David didn't want her to have the injections because he loves the way she looks.
She added to America's Marie Claire magazine: "David loves the ageing process. He thinks it's beautiful. It's weird, because I'm so in love with David right now.
"I'm starting to really appreciate how 'there' he is for me. But in any relationship, there are times that you're disconnected. You can see how relationships end if you don't work through it."
The Australian actor - who has two sons with wife Danielle Spencer - has no intention of ending his family there, and is desperate to have a little girl.
He said: "I want 17 or so kids. I say to my wife, 'Imagine having a daughter! A little you running around!' She just smiles and nods and says 'Yeah, yeah... no.' "
Russell also revealed he is finding it tough to teach his four-year-old son Charlie the difference between right and wrong.
Speaking on US TV show 'Late Night with Conan O'Brien', Russell added: "I said, 'Bad boys become bad men, and you are going to be a good man Charlie Crowe. You're a part of me, you're from me, you are of me and you will be a good man.' Charlie paused, shook his head no, and then said something I found sublimely profound.
"He goes, 'I'm not from you dad, I'm the missing part of mommy, and Tennyson's the missing part of you.' I was just like, 'Dad's just got to have a little bit of a lie down.' It was so ridiculously accurate it just freaked me out, that he would pick up on that."

The 'Tropic Thunder' actor attempted to control the blaze - which engulfed his Malibu home on Tuesday (07.10.08) - with a garden hose before fire crews arrived.
An electrical malfunction started the fire in Nick's home office, causing about $1.5 million of structural damage and destroying $1.5 million of the actor's possessions.
Nick, 67, has reportedly told neighbours he believes his computer printer caused the fire, and he is thinking of suing the manufacturer.
Los Angeles County Fire representative Frank Garrido said: "Mr. Nolte was treated on the scene by Los Angeles Country Fire paramedics for minor smoke inhalation and abrasions to his right forearm. He was released, and will be under the supervision of his own physician."
The fire was put out within five minutes of fire crews arriving at the property, but had already caused extensive damage throughout the building.
Garrido added: "The fire had spread to the living room and kitchen area. There is smoke damage throughout the entire residence."
Nick's representative said: "Mr. Nolte is grateful to the Malibu Fire Department, and Sheriff's Department, for their quick response and assistance.
The director - who helmed the first three films in the Walt Disney franchise - insists people are still interested in the teen musical concept, and feels there is still scope for another film which will focus entirely on British newcomer Jemma McKenzie-Brown.
Speaking at the UK premiere of 'High School Musical 3: Senior Year' in London's Leicester Square last night (07.10.08), Kenny said: "I hope so. I mean, if these kids are still reacting this way after three it would be fun to try and imagine how we would do it for the next generation, maybe with Jemma."
Kenny also expressed his delight at the amazing turnout for the premiere, adding: "It's just spectacular. I mean, they told us the kids had been lined up here all day and we were to expect a really exciting turnout, but it is 10 times bigger than my imagination allowed me to believe."
Stars Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale and Corbin Bleu joined Kenny on the red carpet, before signing autographs for fans.
Ashley, who plays queen bee Sharpay Evans in the movies, revealed she found the last day of shooting incredibly "emotional", as she has become good friends with the rest of the cast.
She said: "I think that all of us are a big family and I love working with Zac, Vanessa and all of them. I think even though this could be the end for us with this movie, we will always stay friends no matter what."

Robert Downey Jr. says he will play Sherlock Holmes "better than it's ever been done before".
The 43-year-old actor - who will portray the fictional British detective in Guy Ritchie's new movie ‘Sherlock Holmes' - is not worried about following in the footsteps of stars including Charlton Heston, Edward Woodward and Rupert Everett because he intends to bring something new to the role.
He said: "In case you aren't aware I had a hell of a summer, and it's made me much more viable to play a lead role than I might have been in the past. And clearly I'm going to do it better than it's ever been done before.
"The more I read about it the more overwhelmed I was by the weight of it and the amount of people who will be watching to see if it's gotten right."
Speaking at a press conference in London, England, yesterday (01.10.08), director Guy explained what inspired him to take on the movie - which will be based on the novels of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
He said: "I really knew Sherlock Holmes from tapes - I wasn't a very good reader. What I had imagined in my mind was not exactly what I'd seen previously manifested on film.
"I am a fan of many of the previous productions of Sherlock Holmes. I just think we can have a different take and I'd like to think a better take. We're trying to be as authentic as we can to the original Sherlock Holmes. We are also keen on keeping it authentic to Conan Doyle."

The actress has indicated she is willing to reprise her role as Mary Jane Watson, the love interest of the superhero, in the popular comic book franchise.
Following recent reports Sony Pictures are planning to shoot 'Spider-Man 4' and 'Spider-Man 5' together, Kirsten was asked if she would be part of the project. She replied: "I'm in."
However, she later backtracked when questioned further, telling MTV: "I'm not saying anything, I know there's rumours."
Kirsten's 'How to Lose Friends and Alienate People' co-star Simon Pegg claimed he had also been approached to star in 'Spider-Man 4'.
He joked: "I'm in 'Spider-Man!' I play Mary Jane's brother. He comes to New York from university, and he says, 'Hey, what are you doing hanging out with that web-crawler."
It was recently reported that both director Sam Raimi and actor Tobey Maguire, who plays the superhero, have signed on for the fourth instalment in the series.
'The Dark Knight' actor died of an accidental drug overdose in January this year, but Reliastar Life Insurance is investigating whether he committed suicide.
Lawyers for Matilda Rose -the star's daughter with 'Brokeback Mountain' co-star Michelle Williams - are suing the firm, insisting there is no evidence of suicide.
If they win, the three-year-old could also be entitled to an additional $62million in damages.
Prosecutor William Shernoff said: "The money belongs to Matilda. There's not a shred of evidence that points to suicide.
"If the court found that the insurance company was acting in bad faith, they could add punitive damages - that would amount to four or five times the insurance policy."
A New York City inquest previously ruled the death was a tragic accident.
Earlier this week, Ledger's father Kim announced Matilda would receive the star's entire estimated $16.6 million estate.
The star left his fortune to his parents and three sisters, but the family have confirmed they will be passing everything to Matilda.

Heather Locklear was charged with driving under the influence of prescription medication on Saturday night (27.09.08).
The former 'Melrose Place' actress - who checked herself into an Arizona treatment facility in June to seek treatment for "anxiety and depression" - was stopped at around 4.30pm after displaying erratic behaviour while driving in Barbara County, California.
Tom Marshall, a spokesperson for the California Highway Patrol (CHP), said: "Around 4.30pm, a female witness saw Heather Locklear driving erratically while leaving a parking lot. The witness said Locklear was revving her engine loudly, and backed over a pair of sunglasses several times.
"The witness called 911 because she was concerned for Locklear's safety. When a CHP officer arrived, Locklear was found seated inside her vehicle, which was partially blocking the roadway.
"Because Locklear appeared disoriented and impaired, she was taken to a local CHP station and drug and alcohol tests were administered. She was cooperative. Alcohol was ruled out as a factor, but based on the officer's observations, we believe Locklear was under the influence of prescription medication."
The 47-year-old actress was taken to a local jail at around 7pm, where she was charged with driving under the influence of prescription medication.
She was released at 11pm on $5,000 bail.
Heather has a 10-year-old daughter Ava Elizabeth with ex-husband Richie Sambora.
She is currently dating her former 'Melrose Place' co-star Jack Wagner.
Elizabeth, who appeared in 1958 movie 'Cat on a Hot Tin Roof' alongside the screen legend - who died aged 83 on Friday (26.09.08) after losing his battle with cancer - expressed her sorrow at the Oscar-winning actor's death.
She said: "I loved that man with all my heart. He was goodness and kindness and pure integrity. I know he loved his family, his wife, the world and mankind. He was purity of heart.
"Working with him was such a joy. Knowing him, being his friend, was as golden as the sunset and a privilege I'll never forget. I thank God and feel so honoured for that privilege. May he be in God's embrace forever."
Tim, who starred with Paul in 1994 film 'The Hudsucker Proxy', added: "The world has lost an angel. Philanthropist, humanitarian, a man of compassion, conviction and courage, an intelligence born of curiosity, an open mind, a beautiful heart, and a wicked sense of humour.
"He was always a hero of mine both as an actor and as a man and it was an honour to have known his wonderful spirit, to act with him, to laugh with him, and to sit in the passenger seat while he drove 100mph with mischief in his eyes."
Newman is survived by his wife and their three grown-up daughters Elinor 'Nell' Teresa, Melissa 'Lissy' Stewart, and Claire 'Clea' Olivia.
He also has two daughters Susan and Stephanie from his first marriage to Jackie Witte - who he divorced in 1957 - and several grandchildren.
Newman and Witte's son Scott died in 1978 of an accidental overdose of alcohol and Valium. After his son's death, Newman established the Scott Newman Foundation to finance the production of anti-drug films.

The 'Transformers' star - who was cited with misdemeanour DUI charges while he was still at the hospital following the accident on July 27 - has escaped prosecution.
Criminal charges will instead be filed against the other driver, who reportedly ran a red light, causing the crash which crushed Shia's hand.
Jane Robison, a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, said yesterday (25.09.08): "After reviewing the case, we've declined to file any charges against Mr. LaBeouf due to insufficient evidence."
Shia's attorney Michael Norris added: "We're very happy with the prosecutor's decision, and we're glad this whole thing resolved without Shia having to go to court."
However, the 22-year-old actor could still have his driving license suspended when he faces the Department of Motor Vehicles in a hearing today (26.09.08).
Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman Steve Whitmore explained: "When an individual refuses to take a blood alcohol test, that person's license is automatically suspended for six to nine months."

'The Other Boleyn Girl' star - who first started dating the folk singer in March after starring in the music video for his single 'Carmensita' - has decided to call time of their relationship, despite moving from New York to Los Angeles to be with Devendra.
A source close to the musician told In Touch Weekly magazine: "Natalie and Devendra have broken up. They will remain friends but need some space and time away."
In April, Natalie, 27, and the bearded singer, who is also 27, were photographed kissing and holding hands as they strolled through the West Village wearing matching black coats and sunglasses.
Natalie - who has previously been romantically linked to a host of actors including Jake Gyllenhaal, Zach Braff and Gael Garcia Bernal - recently vowed to never marry.
She explained: "I'm into monogamy. But I'm not really into marriage. I sort of hate the legal aspect of it. What does the state have to do with it?"

The 15-year-old actress is said to be so desperate to leave the hit series that shot her to fame she has been arriving late on the set, stalling production and annoying cast and crew members, according to gossip website TMZ.com.
Her father Billy Ray Cyrus, who also appears in the programme, allegedly supports her antics as he thinks she will make more money from her singing career than the Disney show.
Billy Ray has reportedly been boasting Miley will film just 12 more episodes before leaving the show.
However, when furious Disney bosses learnt of his comments they are believed to have immediately called his agent and branded both him and Miley "ingrates".
Disney also insisted Miley finishes all 24 episodes in the season as planned and also decided to add six more shows to the run.
Miley's close friend Emily Osment is reportedly so upset at her co-star's behaviour she is refusing to talk to her when they are not filming.
Emily's father is said to have accused Billy Ray and Miley of behaving unprofessionally, resulting in a heated argument between the two men.

The 'Bride Wars' actress - who has a four-year-old son Ryder with ex-husband Chris Robinson - wants to follow her mother's example and dissuade her children from going into acting.
Although Kate didn't listen to her mother, actress Goldie Hawn, and followed in her footsteps to have a hugely successful acting career, she is determined her son will have a regular childhood.
Kate, 29, told US talk show host Jay Leno: "I wouldn't want Ryder to be a child actor. He might be interested in the arts, but for me personally, I don't think it's a good thing to put your children into acting at too young of an age."
Kate recently revealed Ryder gets very excited when he sees her on TV but is unaware she is a big Hollywood star.
She said: "Every once in a while, he will go, 'Oh my God, mommy, you're on TV, you're on TV!'
"I don't think he has any understanding of it. I think he's aware that it's mommy's job."
The actress - who reprised her role as sex columnist Carrie Bradshaw in the long awaited 'Sex and the City: The Movie' earlier this year - doesn't think there will be a sequel.
She said: "It has taken the last two years of my life to get to this point. To ask for anything beyond that, honestly, we would have to be greedy. I don't really even feel that it's in our control."
Despite the popularity of both the movie and the original US TV show, Sarah Jessica has no regrets about bidding Carrie farewell.
She added: "It wasn't difficult to let go, I think that maybe it's because I've always sort of looked at this as literature. Maybe it's because we have had so many chapters to tell. It's always bittersweet, but I never have felt a need to do beyond what had been on the page."
It seems the 'Sex and the City' cast are confused over sequel plans.
Last week, Chris Noth - who played Carrie's lover Mr. Big in the show and film - hinted there may be a follow-up set in London, England.
He said: "We are doing a sequel right here in London. I don't know, I'm just kidding - it's up to the writer, Michael Patrick King.
"He has some great ideas. I think it would be a great place to make it."

The actor - who appears alongside Ben Stiller and Jack Black in the new comedy - had to shoot a trailer with Tobey for spoof movie 'Satan's Alley', which is shown before 'Tropic Thunder', in which the actors star as priests involved in a gay relationship.
When asked how he felt about the trailer, Robert replied: "I think Tobey was wearing lip gloss - it smelt very strong."
Ben, who also directs 'Tropic Thunder', explained the thinking behind the trailer segment - which also features adverts for movie parodies starring him and Jack.
Speaking at London's exclusive Claridges Hotel, Ben told BANG Showbiz: "We basically wanted to be able to set up the characters in the movie, since the movie is about actors and the main actors are movie stars it was a really unique way to be able to set up who these guys were. So it was based on that.
"It was fun to do those because it was such a specific kind of humour - it was fun to make fun of trailers because everybody likes them and likes watching them."

'The Women' actress - who adopted her now three-and-a-half-year-old daughter Daisy True from China in 2006 - was considering the unlikely moniker for her new baby.
She said: "I had a friend who was in a little bit of a manic phase, a little bi-polar, and I was getting reams and reams of names from her. My favourite was Oprah Winfrey Ryan. I knew then that I was in trouble. She was convinced that celebrities should just name their babies after celebrities. But we had to rule it out."
Meg also revealed the reason she eventually chose the name Daisy was because it reflected her daughter's vibrant personality.
The actress - who originally called the tot Charlotte - added to US talk show host David Letterman: "It took me a while to get to know her. Daisy's a really ridiculously happy person, and it was the happiest name I could think of."
Meg is currently starring alongside Jada Pinkett Smith, Debra Messing and Eva Mendes in romantic comedy 'The Women'.

The 'Forrest Gump' actor will be celebrated at the annual event which will be held in April next year.
Kent Jones, associate director of programming for the society, praised the Oscar winner for his portrayal of the "good man".
Jones said: "There are so few actors who have been able to make the struggle and drama of being a good man compelling.
"With his talent, his presence, his versatility, his sense of humour, he has set a very high standard for his fellow actors."
The 52-year-old star won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 'Philadelphia' in 1993 and 'Forrest Gump' in 1994. He is also the third most successful actor in terms of box office totals, which exceed $3.3 billion.
Actors who have previously been honoured by the society include Meryl Streep, Dustin Hoffman, Diane Keaton, Al Pacino and Michael Caine.
The 36-year-old actress arrived on set on Monday (15.09.08) to film for the second series of her hit comedy in Los Angeles, following a double mastectomy in July to treat breast cancer.
Following the operation, Christina revealed she has been given a clean bill of health by her physicians and is now cancer-free.
She said: "I'm clear. Absolutely 100 per cent clear and clean. It did not spread. They got everything out, so I'm definitely not going to die from breast cancer."
Christina's first public appearance since her operation was on September 5 at the 'Stand Up to Cancer' telethon.
She has also been confirmed to present an Emmy award on Sunday (21.09.08), where she is also nominated for Best Lead Actress in a comedy series.
Christina will undergo reconstructive surgery on her chest over the next few months, and is looking forward to getting her womanly curves back.
She said: "After looking at all the treatment plans available to me I had a prophylactic double mastectomy. I just wanted to be rid of this whole thing for me. This was the choice that I made, and it was a tough one. I'm going to have cute boobs until I'm 90. I'm going to have the best boobs in the nursing home!"
The second season of 'Samantha Who?' will be broadcast in the US from October 13.

Uma Thurman is reportedly pregnant.
The 'Kill Bill' actress, who got engaged to Swiss businessman Arpad Busson earlier this year, has fuelled rumours she is expecting a baby after she allegedly asked her assistant to buy several larger-sized dresses from US fashion label Tricky Threads in Santa Monica.
A source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "The dresses were all two sizes larger than she usually orders."
Uma has been dogged by rumours she is expecting after she was photographed in a bikini with a more rounded stomach than usual in July, while on holiday in Corsica with Arpad.
The 38-year-old actress - who has daughter Maya, 10, and six-year-old son Levon with ex-husband Ethan Hawke - has made no secret of her desire to expand her brood.
Uma said: "I'd really like more children. I went and asked the doctor and she said there's still time."
The star also revealed she won't need to buy any more baby products if she falls pregnant again.
She said: "I still have the baby beakers from last time!"
Uma and Arpad celebrated their engagement with a series of parties earlier this year.
They held an intimate gathering for friends and family at Uma's New York apartment in July, celebrated in Saint-Tropez, France, and held another party in London, England, where Arpad is based.

The actress - who lost a huge amount of weight to star in 2004 movie 'Million Dollar Baby', a role for which she won an Oscar - will pile on the pounds to appear in the movie adaptation of Mireille Guiliano's best-selling book 'French Women Don't Get Fat'.
A source close to the movie, which Hilary will also produce, told gossip website E! online: "She'll gain 20 to 30lbs. But it's no sweat. She has played a man before in 'Boys Don't Cry'. She can handle anything."
Hilary will play the manager of a champagne company in the film, who deals with skinny French women who eat calorific treats including bread, wine and cakes and never put on weight.
The actress is not the only star who has put on weight for a role.
Eva Longoria is currently putting on pounds to play Gabrielle Solis in hit US TV show 'Desperate Housewives', while Matt Damon gained weight to appear in upcoming movie 'The Informant'.
However, other actresses have taken the easy route by wearing a fat suit.
Meg Ryan 'gained' 140lbs for new movie 'My Mom's New Boyfriend' by wearing a padded outfit, while Gwyneth Paltrow did the same for 2001 movie 'Shallow Hal'.

Anne Hathaway has been spotted canoodling with actor Josh Lucas.
The 'Devil Wears Prada' actress, who split from Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri over the summer, was reportedly holding hands with Josh at the Democratic National Convention, in Denver, last week.
The happy pair were later seen flirting and laughing at Earls Restaurant in Denver.
A source told gossip blogger Perez Hilton: "They definitely looked like a couple. They were really into each other, giggling and smiling and even holding hands at one point. You could almost taste their chemistry! She looked beautiful and happy. Josh put his arm around her for a bit before they left."
Anne, 25, and Josh, 37, are also believed to have been "connected at the hip" at another Democratic National Convention event hosted by the National Apartment Association earlier this month.
The Hollywood stars reportedly "sneaked away" together for some privacy during a speech by the association's president.
'Sweet Home Alabama' star Josh has previously been romantically linked to Salma Hayek and Heather Graham, while Anne split from Raffaello after four years following a series of scandals involving the businessman.

However, the couple are considering finding out the gender of the baby soon and throwing a party.
Charlie added to America's OK! magazine: "We might do that thing where they do the test, then write it down, then we have a dinner and it's revealed."

The 'Step Brothers' star - who made his name in comedy TV shows and movies - starred in quirky drama 'Stranger Than Fiction' in 2006 but insists he is not looking to become a serious actor.
He said: "I don't have this yearning to be respected or taken seriously. But it does bother me that comedy isn't considered hard to do."
Will also revealed starring on hit US TV show 'Saturday Night Live' was a "very scary dream come true" and he couldn't believe he got the role.
He added: "I got 'Saturday Night Live' with a bit of a guilty conscience. There were people who had been at my comedy troupe Groundlings for six or seven years and became my teachers. For me to then get picked for 'Saturday Night Live' after three years… I was like, 'Um, sorry I got this!'
"I felt like a mouse who found this hunk of cheese that nobody else got."

"Their every spit and cough was recorded and cringing hotel workers saw all of Josh's X-rated moves.
"No one quite knew where to look and there was a very awkward silence.
"Josh didn't seem bothered that the library wasn't locked and anyone could just burst in. He just kind of went for it."
After the romp, the 30-year-old star was "asked to take his personal business elsewhere" in the future by hotel workers.
The source added: "He has been very well behaved since."

Madonna's brother Christopher Ciccone revealed the 'Striptease' actress - who has three daughters with ex-husband Bruce Willis - was out with him and the 'Like A Virgin' singer when she found a novel way to entertain her pals.
Christopher, who recently released his tell-all book 'Life with My Sister Madonna', told Out magazine: "We went out and Demi was dancing up on me and humping me from behind. The one part that's not in the book is that she was lactating at the time and she was squirting breast milk at my lesbian friends.
"My friend Michelle called me the next morning and asked me, 'How do I get breast milk out of my black dress?' and I said, 'How the f**k would I know? Call Demi!' It was hysterical. There are no pictures of it but it actually happened. The lawyers didn't think it was wise for me to print that - so there's your juicy titbit!"
Demi - who is now married to 'What Happens In Vegas' star Ashton Kutcher - is not the only celebrity who has found an unusual use for her lactating breasts.
'Underworld' star Kate Beckinsale - who has a nine-year-old daughter Lily with ex-boyfriend Michael Sheen - revealed she discovered she could squirt milk from her breasts across the room after giving birth.
Kate - now married to film director Len Wiseman - said: "I do miss breastfeeding. I was good at it. I got more than my fair share - I could hit the wall from quite a distance! I do have some useless talents."

Matt is now expected to take a career break to spend time with his new family.
He said recently: "Luciana asked me to take a break from work. She saw a pile of scripts, and when I told her they were the movies I was supposed to shoot in the fall, she asked me if I still wanted to be her husband.
"I'm taking the rest of the year off. I'm just hanging out with my family."

The 'Ghost Whisperer' actress - who recently shed 18lbs after unflattering pictures of her on the beach were published - says she should have been more proud of her lithe figure when she was younger.
Jennifer, 29, said: "I wish I had been nude from the time I was 12 until I was 28. I looked great! I so wish I had listened to my mom and grandma when I was 18 and would complain about some little tiny bump or feeling bloated. I used to scoff and say, 'No, I feel fat today!' Now the joke's on me."
The actress - who is engaged to Scottish actor Ross McCall - also revealed she has no concerns about turning 30 next February, and is actually looking forward to the milestone birthday.
She added to America's Health magazine: "I'm so excited! It's my dream age. I don't know why but, literally since my 12th birthday I've wanted to turn 30."

Although the pair look set to rekindle their love, Owen's friends are worried the comic star will have his heart broken again.
The insider added to America's Star magazine: "It's not fair to Owen, because he really cares for her and ends up getting hurt."

The 33-year-old actress is determined to preserve her youthful appearance and swears by Sugar Acai Age-Delay Body Cream, made from a fruit found in the Amazon jungle.
The cream, which costs a staggering $65 for a small tube, boasts it can "slow down time" and is packed with "age-defying technologies to nourish, protect and firm".
Charlize is not the only celebrity to use unusual methods to fight off the signs of ageing.
'Desperate Housewives' actress Teri Hatcher's beauty regime reportedly involves pouring a glass of wine into her bath, while Gwyneth Paltrow uses an anti-wrinkle cream containing snake venom to maintain her looks.
Last year, Blondie singer Debbie Harry admitted to injecting herself with sheep embryos to stay looking young.
'Striptease' actress Demi Moore, 45, recently revealed she covers herself in blood-sucking leeches to keep her skin looking fresh.
The 'Harry Potter' star has revealed he has the condition dyspraxia - a common neurological problem which causes sufferers to have difficulties planning any sequence of coordinated movements - and can sometimes struggle to complete the most basic of tasks.
He said: "Sometimes I think, 'Why, oh, why, has Velcro not taken off?' "
Despite his difficulties, Daniel admits his condition has been a blessing - because it was the inspiration for his acting career.
The 19-year-old actor - who can next be seen playing the lead character in 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the sixth instalment in the film franchise based on J.K. Rowling's hugely popular book series - was allowed to start going to film auditions after his mother decided he needed a confidence boost because he was struggling academically.
Daniel added: "I was having a hard time at school in terms of being c**p at everything."
The actor's spokeswoman said: "Yes, Daniel does have dyspraxia. This is something he has never hidden. Thankfully his condition is very mild and at worst manifests itself in an inability to tie his shoe laces and bad handwriting."

The actor - who has starred as the teen wizard in five movies in the franchise based on the books by J.K. Rowling - admits he was unsure when he was told he would be appearing without trousers in a scene in 'Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows'.
He said: "At first I thought I had pants on. Apparently not!"
However, Daniel - who has stripped off in the stage production of 'Equus' - insists he isn't worried about his fans seeing him nude on screen, adding: "It's all old hat now, really!"
Daniel, 19, also revealed he has never had much luck with women, and has yet to perfect his flirting skills.
He added to Entertainment Weekly magazine: "When it comes to women I just think, 'Look at them until they notice you and hope for the best.
"I never had any idea how to talk to girls until a year or so ago. I still come out with trivial c**p when I'm flirting, but I like to think I'm doing it in a faintly endearing way."
Warner Bros. have also confirmed they are pushing back the release date of the sixth Harry Potter movie, 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' from November 21 this year to July 17, 2009.
The 'Brokeback Mountain' actress - who has a two-year-old daughter Matilda with former fiance Heath Ledger, who died of an accidental drugs overdose in January - recently started dating film director Spike Jonze and is desperate to ensure their relationship is kept private.
A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Before Michelle leaves the house with Matilda, she has a bodyguard go around her block and make sure there are no photographers."
Michelle and Spike sparked rumours they were in a relationship after they were spotted looking "intimate" on a recent trip to New York.
As they perused a delicatessen, a fellow shopper commented: "Spike had his arm around Michelle and kissed her on the cheeks, then on the lips."
They were then seen kissing during a romantic dinner at the Little Dom's restaurant in Los Angeles' Los Feliz neighbourhood earlier this month.
An onlooker said: "During dinner they would lean in and kiss each other over the table. By the end of the meal, Michelle was sitting on Spike's lap and they were smooching."

The actor - who stars alongside new mom Nicole in 'Australia', released later this year - smiled as he led wife Deborra-Lee Furness and the couple's children Oscar, 8, and three-year-old Ava to meet Nicole and husband Keith Urban's new baby.
An onlooker said: "Hugh couldn't stop grinning. He looked genuinely excited to see the baby and his kids looked excited too."
The day before Hugh's visit, Nicole and Keith showed off their unique sense of style by wearing matching outfits to a soccer match in Sydney on Saturday (09.08.08).
Nicole, 41, and Keith, 40, wore black leather biker jackets, black shirts, dark-washed jeans, sunglasses and baseball caps in an attempt to disguise themselves as they watched the Sydney Swans play the Fremantle Dockers at Sydney Cricket Ground.
The couple left their newborn daughter at home as they watched the match, just days after pleading with photographers to give them space as they took Sunday Rose out with them around Sydney.

The Oscar-winning actor - who was hospitalised following a serious car crash last weekend - insists he is on the mend after being treated for a broken arm, broken elbow and shoulder damage.
He told US TV show 'Entertainment Tonight': "I left the hospital just after 12 noon, Memphis time. I'm doing very well. I feel real good. I just really, I thank the staff at Elvis Presley medical facility and many, many thanks to my many well-wishers. It's great to know people care about you."
The 71-year-old actor underwent surgery at the hospital in Memphis, Tennessee, to repair the damage to his left arm and shoulder caused by the crash.
Earlier this week, it was confirmed Morgan is divorcing Myrna Colley-Lee, his wife of 24 years.
In a statement, Morgan's business partner Bill Luckett said: "They are involved in a divorce action. For legal and practical purposes, they have been separated since December of 2007."
Morgan and costumer Myrna have two children together. Morgan also has two other children from previous relationships.
The 'Mask of Zorro' actress says she was thrilled when a psychic was brought in to rehearsals on her new movie 'Death Defying Acts' because she wishes she could speak to some of her relatives who have passed away.
Catherine said: "I was fascinated by the psychic. I wanted to know what it felt like when you're channelling or doing whatever it takes to get to that state of mind, so he changed my perspective on it.
"I would love to be able to contact people on the other side.
"If I could speak to my grandmother tonight, I'd be doing it. So I do believe."
'Death Defying Acts', a biopic of illusionist Harry Houdini, has flopped at the US box office, taking just $3,560 in its only weekend of showing.
However, Catherine, 38, insists she isn't worried about it damaging her career.
She added: "I haven't actually reached my sexiest point yet.
"I'm not going to be playing a 19-year-old but I'm not going to be playing old grannies any time soon."

The 'Million Dollar Baby' actor, who was involved in a serious car accident last weekend, is involved in divorce proceedings after splitting with his wife Myrna Colley-Lee last December.
Morgan's business partner Bill Luckett said yesterday (06.08.08): "They are involved in a divorce action. For legal and practical purposes, they have been separated since December of 2007."
Morgan and costumer Myrna, who have been married for 24 years, have two children together.
The 71-year-old Oscar winner also has two other children from previous relationships.
The couple met when Morgan was working in an off-Broadway theatre production in 1976 and they married in 1984.
Meanwhile, Morgan is said to be in a stable condition in a Memphis hospital following his car crash on Sunday (03.08.08). 'The Dark Knight' actor suffered a broken arm and elbow as well as severed nerves after his car overturned twice into a ditch in rural Mississippi.
Morgan's passenger Demaris Meyer, 48, escaped with minor injuries, but the star was said to be in a critical condition when admitted to hospital.
Morgan is now said to be making a good recovery, after doctors operated to reattach his nerves. His agent has confirmed he is walking again and Bill Luckett added that he was "in good health".

The Oscar-winning actor was left with a broken arm, broken elbow and damage to his shoulder after the accident which occurred as he was driving his 1997 Nissan Maxima car in Tallahatchie County, Mississippi.
The car went off the shoulder of the road and flipped over "several times", according to one onlooker.
Freeman, 71, was removed from the car wreck using the 'jaws of life', a hydraulic rescue tool, and was airlifted to the Regional Medical Center in Memphis, Tennessee.
In a statement released yesterday afternoon (04.08.08), Freeman's representative said: "He has a broken arm, broken elbow and minor shoulder damage but he is in good spirits.
"He is going to have surgery this afternoon or tomorrow (05.08.08) to correct the damage. He says he'll be OK and is looking forward to a full recovery."
Mississippi Highway Patrol spokesman Sergeant Ben Williams confirmed Morgan had been driving a female passenger, who was now been identified as family friend Demaris Meyer, at the time of the accident.
Williams added: "Mr. Freeman was lucid and conscious after the crash. He was talking, joking with some of the rescue workers at one point. When one person tried to take a photograph with a cell phone camera, Mr. Freeman joked, 'No freebies, no freebies!' "
Freeman's injuries are expected to take three to four months to heal.
The actor - who won an Academy Award in 2005 for his role in 'Million Dollar Baby' - can currently be seen in new Batman movie 'The Dark Knight', in which he stars as Batman/Bruce Wayne's business manager Lucius Fox.

The Rock says kissing Steve Carell was like the first time he ate a "warm chocolate fudge brownie".
The former WWE wrestler, real name Dwayne Johnson, locks lips with comedian Steve in new movie 'Get Smart' and admits the experience was more enjoyable than he expected it to be.
Dwayne, 36, said: "You know the very first time you had a warm chocolate fudge brownie with ice cream? Sprinkles? Whipped Cream? That is what it was like kissing Steve Carell."
The father-of-one - who announced last year he and wife Dany Garcia were splitting after 10 years of marriage - also joked he and Steve are now in a relationship following the movie, but are trying to keep it a secret.
When British TV presenter Rick Edwards asked him if there was any chance of him and Steve enjoying a romance off-screen, Dwayne laughed: "Well it's not really a case of is there any chance, it's the fact that we are. Privately we are. I mean we have to really keep it private as he's married and he does have kids!"
'Get Smart', which also stars Anne Hathaway, is in cinemas worldwide now.
Christina Applegate has been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The 36-year-old 'Friends' star has an early form of the disease and is expected to make a full recovery, her spokesperson has revealed.
The actress' publicist issued a statement on Saturday (02.08.08) saying: "Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening.
"Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery. No further statement will be issued at this time."
It was revealed last month that Christina - best known for her role as Kelly Bundy in US TV show 'Married… With Children' - is to join stars including Meryl Streep and Charlize Theron in a one-hour TV special to raise funds for Stand Up to Cancer.
Christina - who has been nominated for an Emmy and a Golden Globe for 'Samantha Who? - won an Emmy award in 2003 for her role as Jennifer Aniston's sister Amy in 'Friends'.

Director Michael Bay will write a hand injury into the script for 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen', after Shia LaBeouf hurt his hand in a car crash.
The 22-year-old actor - who was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI) following the Los Angeles crash - will not affect filming of the new movie with his injury, for which he had "extensive surgery", Bay has promised.
He said: "I spoke to Shia in the hospital. His two fingers are pretty mashed, but we're figuring out a way to shoot around it, kind of write it in the story."
Bay also revealed LaBeouf has "matured" dramatically since he starred in 2007 movie 'Transformers'.
He added: "The kid really has his head together and you know, he's only 22. He's doing a great job on this movie. He has really matured since the last one and I love working with him."
Meanwhile, debris from LaBeouf's crash - which police have now confirmed was not his fault - has been put up for sale on auction website eBay.
Some of the remnants from the truck which LaBeouf drove into are being sold for up to $200.

Kate Hudson and Lance Armstrong have reportedly broken up.
The 'Fool's Gold' actress and the cycling champion - who started dating in mid-May - mutually decided to end their relationship, it has been claimed.
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "There was no drama or ugliness - they just decided to end things. There is no hatred, just sadness."
Kate, 29, and Lance, 36, had been seen at various events together, including his three-day Lance Armstrong Livestrong Summit in Columbus, Ohio, last weekend - where they finally decided to part ways.
They spent Father's Day (03.06.08) together, and were accompanied to lunch by Kate's son Ryder and his father Chris Robinson.
Kate had also introduced Lance to her mother Goldie Hawn.
Since splitting from Chris in 2007, Kate has been romantically linked to Owen Wilson and Dax Shepard.
Lance was previously engaged to singer Sheryl Crow and was also reported to have dated Ashley Olsen.

Shia LaBeouf's 'Transformers' co-star Isabel Lucas was reportedly a passenger in his car when he crashed on Sunday (27.07.08).
It has been claimed Isabel suffered minor injuries in the collision which occurred at 3am in Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Shia - who suffered injuries to his head and knee and required "extensive surgery" to his hand - was arrested and charged with driving under the influence (DUI).
However, Isabel's agent Theresa Peters has refused to confirm her client was present at the crash.
She said: "Everything out there is complete speculation and gossip. She's at work today. She's back on the set of 'Transformers 2'."
Before the accident, Shia was allegedly seen drinking shots of alcohol at a nightclub in the city
A source told Us Weekly magazine: "He was dancing around and acting really crazy. He kept doing shots of whisky. He stayed until the band was done and then stumbled out of the club."
Meanwhile, the actor has spoken about his troubled relationship with alcohol.
In an interview for the September edition of America's Details magazine, Shia said: "It's not something that is conducive to being a role model. And I don't know how to do it like a gentleman. I don't know how to have one drink."

Juliette Binoche became an actress because she wanted to be loved.
The 'Chocolat' star - who won an Oscar for her role in 1996 movie 'The English Patient' - admits the only reason she got into the industry is because of her profound desire to "please" people.
She said: "When I started as an actress, I wanted to please so much. I think we all need to be loved. When we fail, we are very, very hurt and behave in such a way that nobody is going to love us. There's a moment when you are jumping into the trust and you don't know if you will be loved or not.
"You've got to dare to allow for not being loved - if you don't dare that, you are not an artist."
Juliette - who will soon be starring in a dance show with British dancer and choreographer Akram Khan - also revealed she found it "weird" learning to dance because it is such a physically intimate process.
She added to Britain's Film Quarterly magazine: "In film, we have to get intimate very quickly. You are showing your soul - you have to get naked, sometimes physically but mostly emotionally. Dancers don't really get involved emotionally that much because it would be too much - they are close physically all the time, the body becomes like a tool.
"To put emotion and body together - it's a weird experience because it's a very intimate relationship."

Heather Locklear has left rehab.
The 46-year-old actress - who checked into the Arizona facility on June 19 - is said to be feeling rejuvenated after spending four weeks being treated for anxiety and depression.
A source said: "Heather is feeling really great. And she looks beautiful, just radiant. She seems happier - she told a really funny story and she laughed from her core. That's when I knew she was going to be fine. I think that's the best part of all - it's so nice to hear her laugh."
During her stay, Heather enjoyed therapeutic spa treatments, rode horses and learned to appreciate being on her own.
Heather - who was visited by her actor boyfriend Jack Wagner during her time in the clinic - can't wait to be reunited with her 10-year-old daughter Ava, from her marriage to Bon Jovi rocker Richie Sambora.
The source added: "She is most excited to be back home with Ava."
Tommy Lee wants Johnny Depp to play him in a film.
The Motley Crue rocker - who has two children with ex-wife Pamela Anderson - insists the Oscar-nominated actor would be the perfect star to portray him.
He said: "Johnny Depp would be my choice to play me. He's the best ever."
Tommy also revealed he is currently in talks with movie producers to start shooting the film, which will be based on the story of Motley Crue.
He added: "We're working on it. Trying to find the right producers and director and all that sort of stuff!"
It was recently revealed Tommy - who reconciled with Pamela last month - has naked pictures of the former 'Baywatch' actress on his cell phone.
A friend of Tommy's revealed: "Tommy is as proud to be Pammie's man as he was when they first got together. Pammie may be 41 but she still looks every inch the Playboy bunny she was and Tommy has the proof.
"If you're really nice to him, apparently he'll even show you!"

Will Smith has topped a list of Hollywood's Highest Paid Actors.
The 'Hancock' actor - who has made $80 million in the last year - became the first ever actor to have eight consecutive movies break the $100 million mark at the box office.

Natalie Portman plays a Bollywood princess in her boyfriend Devendra Banhart's new music video.
The 'V for Vendetta' actress - who has been dating the Venezuelan folk singer since April - wears full Indian costume, complete with a bindi, and must be saved from peril by Devendra's "rebellious beard" in the promo for 'Carmensita'.
Natalie is seen pouting, fluttering her eyelashes and giggling throughout the tongue-in-cheek video.
Subtitles appear at the bottom of the screen, including: "The princess whose golden beauty sang through the soul of heaven waited three full eclipses for her love to return."
By the end of the film, Natalie's character is reincarnated as an octopus.
Since they began dating, the couple have holidayed in various locations, including New York and Israel.
Before getting involved with Devendra, Natalie was romantically linked to stars including, Jake Gyllenhaal, Orlando Bloom, Zach Braff, Moby and Gael Garcia Bernal.
It was recently reported Natalie left movie bosses fuming after quitting her role as Cathy Earnshaw in 'Wuthering Heights', the big screen adaptation of Emily Bronte's classic 1847 novel, despite having "seduced" them into giving her the part.
A movie insider said: "It's fair to say we were seduced by her and we should have been on our guard."
Megan Fox says filming sex scenes is "awkward and never fun".
The 'Transformers' beauty - who stars in an abundance of raunchy sequences in new movie 'Jennifer's Body' - insists the scenes are not as erotic as they appear.
She said: "I have a few love scenes. I eat and seduce everyone - boys and girls. There's a lot of kissing and craziness. It was awkward, it's always awkward and it's never fun."
Megan, 22, also revealed she found it difficult to shoot steamy scenes with her co-star Johnny Simmons, especially when he salivated in her mouth.
She added to FOX News: "My co-star Johnny Simmons and I got really close and became really good friends, so it was hard not to just laugh hysterically and endlessly. So I'm kissing him and he's like my brother - it was really awful. He got spit in my mouth and it was gross."
Megan admits she is "not comfortable" with constantly topping polls for the world's most attractive women.
The brunette beauty - who was most recently crowned FHM magazine's sexiest woman in the world - said: "I'm not comfortable with it at all. It annoys me."
Drew Barrymore is still in love with her ex-boyfriend.
The actress, who recently split from her latest suitor Justin Long, reportedly initiated the break-up because she couldn't stop thinking about former lover, The Strokes drummer Fabrizio Moretti.
A source said: "Drew just couldn't get Fabrizio out of her mind. She says Justin was great, but what she had with him just wasn't as strong."
Drew, who dated the rocker for five years, has remained in contact with Fabrizio since they separated and reportedly feels ready to settle down and start a family with him.
The source added to National Enquirer magazine: "Drew told me, 'I want kids, and I want them pretty soon, and the more I am away from Fabrizio, the more I realise he is the one.' "
The 33-year-old star is believed to have revealed her feelings to the rocker and he is delighted at the prospect of rekindling their romance.
A source said: "He is certainly in favour of having her back. It is only a matter of time before he and Drew are together again."

Christian Bale has been accused of assault by his mother and sister.
'The Dark Knight' star allegedly lashed out at London's Dorchester hotel on Sunday (20.07.08), where he has a suite. His mother Jenny, 61, and sister Sharon, 40, went to a police station in Hampshire, Southern England, yesterday (21.07.08) to lodge a formal complaint against him.
Bale, 34, was allowed by police to attend the European premiere of 'The Dark Knight' - in which he plays superhero Batman - last night but will face questioning over the claims.
A police source told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "It was a very difficult situation but it would have been wrong to have wrecked the premiere over a complaint which we don't yet know is founded in truth. But Mr. Bale will be contacted at the earliest opportunity and be asked to provide an account of anything that happened."
Police in London are expected to speak to the Welsh actor later today (22.07.08).
A spokesperson for London's Metropolitan Police said: "We can confirm we have received an allegation from another force in relation to an alleged incident in central London."
Bale appeared calm at the premiere - which was also attended by his co-stars Sir Michael Caine, Maggie Gyllenhaal and Aaron Eckhart - in London's West End, taking time to sign autographs for fans.

Sigourney Weaver's mother used to call her "plain".
The actress tried to seek reassurance from her mother about her unconventional looks when she was growing up, but was always left unhappy by the response.
She said: "I had an English mother who was always trying to make sure I wouldn't be conceited, to the point where I had a real inferiority complex.
"I would say, 'Mummy am I pretty?' and she would say, 'Well no, you're plain dear, but never mind.' I thought, 'Gosh, if my mother doesn't think I'm pretty, I had better crawl under the sofa.' "
Sigourney, 58, is convinced her mother's brutal honesty is a character trait that many English people have.
The actress - who voices a character in new animated movie 'WALL.E' - added to Britain's The Times newspaper: "I think it's an English thing. There's this feeling that you're going to spoil your child if you keep saying how wonderful they are."

Selma Blair is "shocked" by how many of her friends have lesbian crushes on her.
The actress, who famously shared a steamy kiss with Sarah Michelle Gellar in 'Cruel Intentions', insists she has never had any lesbian experiences in real life - but is constantly fighting off advances from women.
Selma - who also filmed same sex kisses for 'Feast of Love' and new movie 'Driving Lessons' - told Playboy magazine: "I have done three girl-on-girl kisses on-screen. And, yet, I've never experimented in real life. When lesbian friends tell me they're in love with me after our friendship has been cemented, it always shocks me."
Last year, Selma revealed she practiced her lesbian sex scenes in private with 'Heroes' star Stana Katic.
Selma - who plays a lesbian again in 'Feast of Love' - said: "We rehearsed our love scene quite a bit in a private room together. We both looked at the bed, looked at each other and walked into the room and went at it."

Music producer Simone Sestito - who met 'American Beauty' star Mena last year at the Toronto International Film Festival - proposed to his 29-year-old girlfriend during a romantic holiday in Jamaica.
Despite accepting the proposal, Mena - who was previously married to Robert Brinkman, a 46-year-old cinematographer - is said to be keen to wait before tying the knot again.
A source close to the actress revealed: "They're taking their time planning the wedding. They are in no rush."
Last year, Mena was seen in horror film 'Day of the Dead', and she can next be seen starring alongside Matthew Modine in US TV movie 'Murder in Sin City' in September.
She shot to fame starring in teen comedy 'American Pie' in 1999, while her role in 'American Beauty' later that year won her critical acclaim and a BAFTA award nomination.
Simone is the founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of concert promotion company ISSIMO.

Gary Oldman has revealed he wants to star in a James Bond spin-off movie. The 50-year-old actor - who can soon be seen in new Batman movie 'The Dark Knight' - would love to see a film based entirely on 007's gadget expert friend Q.
Oldman said: "I wouldn't want to be a Bond villain because once you do it you are kind of at the end of the line. I wouldn't mind playing Q in a spin-off movie all about him."
The actor - who won rave reviews for his directorial debut 'Nil By Mouth' in 1997 - also revealed he is planning to step behind the camera once more for conjoined-twin drama 'Chang And Eng'.
He added: "I've been working on that project for the last couple of years. But that process of writing gets interrupted because you have to go off and earn money and you have got kids. Someone said to be the other day, 'Oh, it's such a shame you haven't directed since 'Nil By Mouth'.
"And you go, 'Well I've been bringing up these two boys for the last 10 years - that's my project, that's the movie. But it's time 'Chang And Eng' saw the light of day."

Robert Downey Junior is kind of a parallel universe, American version of Sascha Baron Cohen, in many ways. So it should come as no great surprise to learn that he's rumoured to play the opium-snorting investigator in a Guy Ritchie-directed drama. The character will be based on an upcoming comicbook from producer Lionel Wigram which portrays Holmes as less stuffy and more adventurous. He'll be a veritable Indiana Jones, bringing physical prowess to bear on the detecting process. Sweet.
Will Smith's latest soulless action-comedy flick is cleaning up at the US box offices. It's giving equally rubbish-looking 'blockbuster' Kung Fu Panda (tagline: "it's PANDAMONIUM") a run for its considerable money. The film stars Smith as an - oh god I'm almost too bored to finish this sentence - as an alien superhero who is more of a hindrance than a help, despite his best intentions. It grossed over £9 million in its opening weekend to make it number one on both sides of the 'pond'.

We're all psyched about the new Batman film here at Startrip towers. Literally every single one of us is bouncing up and down with the pure excitement of it all. But did you know it's officially meant to be good? "Dark Knight revolves around notions of the yin and yang between Hero and Villain and of those gray areas where social conscience and individuality collide," is what they say. But, like, who cares? It's got loads of action, the tagline "Why so serious?", Heath 'Robinson' Ledger AND Christian Bale. I mean how bad can it be? Dark Knight is released in the UK on July 25th.

Well, it's certainly a change of direction for Rowling if that's true. Daniel Radcliffe himself said that Harry Potter And The
interminable sequence of stupid kids films Half-Blood Prince, has hints of "sexual energy and drug parallels. We have a couple of Trainspotting moments." Drug parallels? The Sun asks whether we'll see Harry diving into the worst toilet at Hogwarts to fetch his wand, but as usual, they're just being silly.

Daniel Craig's Bond is alright, I guess, in a no-Jason-Bourne, product-placement-heavy kind of way. They seem to be going to a revenge story, here. Not terrifically original, but whatever. If we're honest, we're just watching it for the Dench anyway, aren't we?
June 26, 2008 3:33 PM
Eplep! What's this you're trying to feed us? These grapes.... why they're so bitter. Some might say SOUR. Turns out David Hasselhoff doesn't have much faith in the new Knight Rider series. The 55-year-old who became famous as the mysterious Michael Knight in the original '80s show, told WENN that he wouldn't be appearing in the remake.
"It's going to miss the target a little bit," he said. "It's like having Indiana Jones without Indiana Jones." Is it, though? Isn't Knightrider about the car anyway? I'd venture getting rid of the car would be worse. Like having Herbie without the anthropomorphic VW.
The Hoff agreed to make a cameo appearance in the recent Knight Rider series pilot, but although it was a hit with test audiences, he wasn't happy with the finished result.
"They asked me to come in and do a cameo and promote it and I said I would. But it was not what I had in mind," he said. "I didn't get a chance to see the show until the final product and it was clearly not what it could've been. It was someone else's vision."

Dumped by Sienna earlier this month (I mean, who does she think she is?), actor Rhys is off to Wales in an effort to get 'clean', and 'dry' and all those other things that apply only to alcoholics and toddlers who've just stumbled out of the sea. Notting Hill's Mr Underpants has, they say, been hitting the bottle pretty hard since Sienna dumped him over the phone. And when that didn't work he started drinking heavily. He told an (indiscrete) friend: “I’m going back to Wales tonight for two weeks to get out of London and get away from it all. I just want to get back to my roots and be around my Welsh friends for a while.”

New film Prince Caspian opens week and frankly, it doesn't look great. I did quite enjoy the one about witches and animatronic Irish lions named islam or whatever, but this one appears to be about a lank-haired 13 year old European visiting Narnia on some sort of French exchange. I'm going on the trailers here, completely, so hey, might be great. The excellent Warwick Davies is in it, and it got 7.5 on the imdb. Fans of the epic battles in the Tolkien films will be delighted to see what appears to be the exact same footage appearing again here. Don't take my word for it though! Like, watch the trailer?

We love Steve Carell here at Star Trip. We adore The Office. We didn't hate the 40 Year Old Virgin. We haven't really seen him in anything else, to be honest, but we think that's enough. So... doesn't his new film, Get Smart, look wicked-cool?

Tom 'Mr Hanky' Hanks has been banned from filming in Roman churches. The Italian church is not, sadly, staging some kind of retro-referential protest against A League Of Their Own, but rather less rationally want to keep the film crew making 'Angels and Demons'* at bay. Rome church officials have ruled that the scenes for the prequel to 'The Da Vinci Code' cannot be filmed in two of the city's places of worship, the Santa Maria del Popolo and Santa Maria della Vittoria churches. Church official Monsignor Marco Fibbi said: "It's a film that treats religious issues in a way that contrasts with common religious sentiment. We would be helping them create a work that might well be beautiful but that does not conform to our views." The movie's crew have been granted permission to film the churches exteriors, but really, it's not the same.

Is Catherine Zeta Jones too thin? Or not thin enough? Or just right? Who's been sitting in my chair, anyway? The Daily Mail continues its infernal tradition of misogynistic hypocrisy over women's bodies with this story about beautiful, healthy-looking Darling Buds of May star CZJ. As so many of your commenters continue to say - GIVE WOMEN A BREAK, the Mail! Listen to your readers. Well, most of them. Don't listen to "John, Sevenoaks", who repeatedly posts woman-hate on your articles and would be happy if all the females on the planet were wiped out and the world consisted of one giant male-on-male inter-species romp like in Roman times.

Here are some things I like: Pandas. Jack Black. Martial arts. Dreamworks animated movies. The ingredients were all there for something truly delicious. So what went wrong, guys? Watch the trailer and see whether you agree. And then how about leaving a comment?

Is it possible? Chef Mario Batali, who travelled around Spain with the Iron Man actress for a cooking show told Us magazine: "I think she works out three hours a day - which is one of the keys to success. If we all did that, we'd all look like Gwyneth Paltrow. Or at least, closer." He added: "She loves to eat, and you know, she never puts on a pound!" Just when we were starting to like her too. What a shame.

Ah loveable Bill. Funny, bumbling Bill. Not so funny now, eh? Bill's wife Jennifer Butler Murray is seeking a divorce after claiming that the Ghostbuster is addicted to alcohol and weed... and beats her up. And that's just when he can be bothered to come home. Jennifer claims Bill tends to leave home without telling her where he's going, travelling overseas to engage in "public and private altercations and sexual liaisons". With hot, scantily-clad ghosts, sometimes.

I know, what is that? Professional ones? So, did he get them from an agency or what? Seems jilted Owen is getting over the fact his girl left him for Lance Armstrong, by hanging out with some generic blondes. Don't get me wrong, I love Kate Hudson as much as any other American actress who I've never met, barely seen perform and has absolutely no impact on my life. But I can spot an emotion-bias a mile off, and what we have here is a manifestation of our slightly desperate belief that they're going to get back together. A 'friend' told OK magazine: “It’s sad because deep down, they love each other.” And how the hell would you know?
May 28, 2008 10:27 AM
It was a while ago, sure, but still plenty gossip-worthy. The actress in charge of Sex and the City's delicate flower Charlotte, who one imagines never even stole a little blue pencil from Argos, was so addicted to alcohol as a teenager that she actually thought it would kill her. “I really didn’t think I would pass 30. I drank a lot when I was a teenager.” She managed to kick her habit following a stint in rehab aged 22. “I miss it,” she said, “You don’t go to rehab and then suddenly it goes away.”

Oh, I can't stand it. After so many feel-good gay couple stories, too. Rumour has it Hollywood's most famous lesbian couple Jodie Foster and Cydney Bernard have split following Jodie's infidelity. It's so personal somehow. Like when Kylie got cancer or Chantelle and Preston split up or Richard and Judy had to start sharing their timeslot with Paul O'Grady. So what happened? Well, it's been mooted that Jodie might be in the throes of a mid-life crisis, having cheated on Cydney Bernard - her girlfriend of 15 years - for screen writer Cindy Mort, 31. Who? Well, Cindy's on the rise, a relatively young writer who's written for Roseanne and Will and Grace, among other things. Cydney and Jodie are still living together while Jodie makes plans to move out.

Always popular with members of the royal family, hat designers, and teenagers trying things on in Debenhams wedding section, "fascinators" are enjoying a wider appeal at last - thanks to what shall forever more be known as that hat. So what do you think? SJP really needs that extra something to elongate her face, does she? Or is just good, clean, theatrical fun and us old fuddie-duddies should keep up with the times and wear our hats at a 90 degree angle like everyone else?

Those of us who had put it all down to a weird and slightly grotesque cheese dream will be surprised to hear that not only did Fraggle Rock really happen, it was also apparently so popular that it's being made into a film. The movie is expected to breathe new life into the moth-eaten forms of Gogo, Wembley, Mokey, Boober and Red and while no plot has been confirmed, it's believed that the gang will encounter humans, who they immediately assume are aliens. Which is a bit rich, coming from a fraggle.
May 12, 2008 11:59 AM
Aw, it's a shame isn't it. I bought a hat and everything. Tabloid muttering about Owen Wilson and Kate Hudson's upcoming wedding has been going into overdrive recently, since Kate was spotted wearing a ring. Wearing a ring. I ask you. Is that all it takes nowadays? Get spotted near someone wearing white and you're a bride-to-be. Have your photo taken with a kneeling man and Hello! has booked the church. Anyway, turns out they're not. So, like, get over it, yeah?
May 6, 2008 5:04 PM
Well, it's a shame, but she's so exceptionally cool I think I might have to let her get away with it. The "ink" in question is a sort of slithery shape down the top few inches of her spine. As with all tattoos I've ever seen, my first question is "Does it look better than the bare skin did?" and as with all tattoos, even that celtic eagle sported across the shoulder blades of a boy I once dated, which was only ever half-finished because he couldn't stand the pain, the answer is a decisive "No".
Anyway, don't take my word for it, see for yourself...
May 2, 2008 12:08 PM
Here's a nice picture of SJP that is not accompanied by an article that reveals all the key plot points in the new Sex and The City film. MAN I'm getting sick of that. Everywhere I look someone's trying to ruin the movie for me.
This is interesting, though. Mrs Matthew Broderick has a clothing range for US budget store Steve & Berry, and the frock in this picture cost just £4.50. Hopefully this reflects the fact that she, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha all sit in her flat sewing them by hand, and it would be inappropriate to ask questions about ethics and sweat shops. SJP's range includes jeans, dresses, jackets, tops, shoes and lingerie and it all comes in at under a fiver. Next time you go to the states, check it out and let us know. It might be good, it might be a load of old tat. And as I type this on my Mac, gazing pensively into the distance I have to ask: will we just buy it, anyway?

Run for cover people as Victoria Beckham has got the grumps. Why? Because of David's foray into facial fuzz? Nope. Cos she's just realised she has absolutely zero discernable talent? No (but it should be). Rather, pouty Posh is annoyed that America hasn't fallen for her charms yet and that she's still better known for her husband's fame and glory. Just like here in the UK, then.
Talking to Closer magazine, a friend of the star revealed: "She can't bear being known as someone's wife and she hates the WAG label. She's getting offered the same TV work as Paris Hilton when she wants to be on a level with her pal Kate Beckinsale - but she just isn't an actress. Posh doesn't feel she's seen as a credible fashion icon yet. She's also disappointed that the TV work she is offered is always to play herself or someone similar to herself."
That's what happens when you’re not an actress – you don’t get offered top acting roles. Funny that.
Posh is also said to be feeling her age and bans anyone from mentioning her 34th birthday which she celebrated with showbiz chums recently. Which we just did. Sorry Posh. But don’t worry, being so incredibly geriatric and past-it at the crinkly age of 34 you won’t be able to read for much longer and probably can't take to this fancy, new Interweb thing anyway.

This is the news that Jennifer Aniston has been patiently waiting for (yes Jen – those voodoo dolls have finally paid you back) as Brad and Angelina are said to be rowing. Obviously we don’t know how regular and aggressive these clashes are or whether they indulge a little of that Mr. and Mrs. Smith fighting action, but we do know that Brad issued Angie with a stern ultimatum last week. So, what nasty thorn could be prickling the bubble of domestic bliss of Hollywood's favourite A-list couple? The size of their family apparently.
Brad is knackered out being a hands-on pa to their brood of children, consisting of Maddox, 6, Pax Thien, 4, Zahara, 3, and Shiloh, 23 months, but Angie is eager to have more kids after giving birth to her twins later this year. Is she going for a world record or just starting her own United Nations?
A source confided: "Brad loves being a dad and enjoys nothing more than spending time with the children. But he's constantly tired from working so hard and then mucking in at home. All the sleepless nights are taking their toll."
This chatty chum seems quick to stress that Brad is enjoying being a father lest anyone should question his commitment or interest in being a showbiz parent, but it does sounds like the movie hunk is worried that he's not getting his beauty sleep. He does have 12 years on Jolie and so maybe he's feeling those late nights a bit more. Might I suggest some hot milk before bed, Brad?

Lads mag FHM has announced its annual list of the world's sexiest women as voted for by their horny readers and the results make for interesting reading (if you’re into that kind of thing). Transformers star Megan Fox has nabbed the top spot with her first time on the list, proving that boys like girls that run around fighting shiny machines while resembling Angelina Jolie without the children.
Other newbies on the list include opera singer Katherine Jenkins, supermodel Agyness Deyn and Prince Harry's lady friend Chelsea Davy. However, at Star Trip we're most excited by the new entry coming in at number 91 – none other than Location, Location, Location (did we say that enough times?) property expert Kirstie Allsopp. Maybe it's that domineering, know-it-all school mistress vibe she's working.
The top five was rounded out by last year's number one, Jessica Alba at two, glamour model Keeley Hazell at three and American TV actresses Elisha Cuthbert and the barely-legal Hayden Panettiere at four and five respectively.
Established totty such as Angelina Jolie, Scarlett Johansson, Keira Knightley, Hilary Duff and Cheryl Cole made the top ten, but there was no love this time for new-mums Jennifer Lopez and Myleene Klass and Kate Moss.
Speaking on the results, FHM's editor-in-chief Anthony Noguera said: "This year, after 9.7 million votes from around the world, [the poll] has never been more authoritative. Megan Fox is a very deserving winner... From out of nowhere, she's captured the hearts - and fantasies - of British men to capture the number one slot."
So congratulations to Megan Fox, who is now officially the most wanked over woman in Britain. Oh for such a noble accolade…

Good news for lads that like their ladies busty, bubbly and famous for not much, and women that like their fellas bald, American and with their career's behind them, as Kelly Brook and fiancé Billy Zane (you try and name a film of his post-Titanic and even that was over 10 years ago), have broken up.
The couple had been together for four years after meeting on the set of a film that no-one's heard of, but Strictly Come Dancing star Kelly ended things as she considered herself too young to settle down. Billy, who at 42-years-old is 14 years Kelly's senior, now joins gravely-voiced Brit Jason Statham on Kelly's list of bald actors she has ditched.
A source revealed that the split didn't involve any plate smashing, door slamming and nasty name-calling: "After much soul-searching, Kelly decided that Billy is not the man she wants to marry and has called off the engagement. The split is completely amicable and they remain good friends."
Well, as good friends as you can be once you've seen someone naked, bared your soul to them and ultimately decided they're not worth your time.

And so a big Star Trip happy birthday for Victoria Beckham, who hit the grand old age of 34 yesterday. And how did the Spice Girl celebrate the big day? By getting drunk with her celebrity husband and celebrity mates all in a grand celebrity setting, of course. Ahh - she's just like you and me, isn’t she folks?
Vicky B and her hubby, some past-it footie player you might have heard of, enjoyed a meal out with her current favourite chum, actress (I say actress, but having watched her in Van Helsing, I beg to differ) Kate Beckinsale and her director husband Len Wiseman. Desperate Housewives strumpet Eva Longoria Parker was also part of the celebrations, fitting considering it all went down at her fancy LA restaurant Beso.
An onlooker commented in The Mirror: "After lots of champagne, they stumbled out and went back to the Beckham's Beverly Hills mansion and partied till 3am."
Notable by their absence were former best buddies Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes. Maybe Katie was too busy fighting her way out of Tom's home security system to make it. Either that, or she's officially been replaced by another scrawny, Hollywood robot. Tough break Katie.

Could there be trouble in paradise for TomKat? The American gossip press certainly seems to think so with both In Touch Weekly (pictured right), Star magazine and our very own Now magazine reporting that the Tom Cruise/ Katie Holmes romance is on the rocks, with a break imminent. Could we be about to witness another power couple split?
The gossip centres on Katie's frustrations at Tom's controlling behaviour, which is said to keep the young actress under surveillance at all times. Speaking to Now, a chum of Katie's revealed: “Because of his [Tom's] high profile, his children and his Scientology connections, Tom believes his family is vulnerable to potential kidnappers, stalkers and crazed fans. Katie will barely be able to move around her own home without being monitored by cameras and electrical devices. At home she would often go to a bedroom of her own and spend hours there with Suri.”
Cry it out honey, we've all hidden in the toilets when we've felt a case of the waterworks coming on, and it seems pretty understandable when made to feel like uncomfortable and spied on in your own home with your spending habits and phone calls strictly monitored. The source close to the Batman Begins star adds: “Now she says she’ll feel as though there is no escape from Tom’s controlling ways. You can escape the eyes of another person by going to a different part of the house. But [Katie] knows she can’t escape the roving eyes of the cameras that are constantly sweeping the house.”
It sounds more like a prison than a marriage, with talk suggesting that Katie plans to accept a role on Broadway just to escape the $1.3 million security system of Tom's fortress and live it up in the Big Apple. She is understood to be in final negotiations for a part in All My Sons and is hoping that a move to Manhattan could result in a trial separation, though unsurprisingly Tom has other ideas.
“She desperately needs to be on her own for a while, but there’s no way Tom is going to let her take Suri away,” another anonymous source told Star magazine. “There’s no way he’ll allow it. He just doesn’t want Katie — or Suri — out of his sight for long. He told her that if she goes to New York, fine, but he goes with her.” That kinda defeats the point of a separation Tom, jeez after two divorces already, I’d have thought you’d have gotten the hang of the break-up bit.
Of course, others are dismissing these reports, confirming that the pair is currently apart due to work commitments but are still very much in love, can't get enough of each other, blah, blah, blah.
Without wanting to endorse divorce or be flippant about the pain caused to all involved when a relationship breaks down, this union has always smelt a bit off. Whether it's been the Scientology brainwashing, the transformation of Katie Holmes from perky, pretty young thing into a scrawny Stepford wife or the icky way they desperately cram their love down your throats, it's never rung true. More like a show of love, rather than the real thing.
And if they were to split, it could be the best thing to happen to Katie's career. Just look at Nicole Kidman.
April 14, 2008 1:24 PM
Remember when Katie Holmes was better known for being 'Little Joey Potter' on Dawson's Creek? Back then she probably ate all her greens, never forgot her please's and thank you's and was generally a sweet, wholesome, chubby-cheeked poppet, remember? So does Star Trip. That's why we hate to see her gradually morphing into close chum Victoria Beckham. And so does hubby Tom Cruise apparently…
Just look at the pair of them together. The hair, the gaunt expression, the pathetic neediness for their more successful husbands. They could be the same shallow, stick-thin person. And this is not acceptable for Mr. Cruise.
"Katie sees Victoria as a role model," says a source close to the A-listers. "She copies Victoria's look and even cut her hair the same way. She is very thin largely because she is following Victoria's strict 900-calories-a-day eating plan. She is copying Victoria's fad of eating seaweed shakes, frozen grapes and edamame beans. She is tiny."
Come on Katie – snap out of it and go grab yourself some grub. We've long lost Posh to the dark side of no food, smiling or silliness – but not you too Katie. Surely Tom must be able to coax her into eating something, it's hardly Mission Impossible (ho ho – see what we did there?)

Bless her, she's desperate. After a rather colourful recent past that has included stints in rehab, being publicly criticised by the head of a Hollywood production company and dating serial shagger Calum Best, all the while wearing those god-awful leggings, Lindsay Lohan has decided she will do anything to get an acting gig. Even take off all her clothes. Well, it wouldn't be the first time.
The former Disney starlet has fallen on hard times since partying superseded acting and singing as her main occupations, why else is she always snapped pimping out that nicotine gum? And so is keen to show Hollywood why they liked her so much in the first place by doing a low-budget indie flick for little money. That's how actors get credibility, right?
The 21-year-old is set to accept a pay cheque of only £40,000 (that would barely cover her expenses for a night out) to star in Florence as a nymphomaniac waitress. The part involves her showing us her parts, with "full frontal" nudity being discussed. Put it away love, we've seen it all before.
A source blabbed to The Sun: “Lindsay doesn't care she's getting paid peanuts. She wants to remind people she can act and that she is worth hiring.” While another insider elaborated: “She is fully aware of the potential of her body. Lindsay wants to build up an image as a mature, responsible actress.”
'The potential of her body' - what does that mean? If she's looking to earn money by shedding clothes then there are dozens of lad's mags that would cough up to have her flaunt her bits on their pages. And maybe if she's so keen for everyone to ogle her nakedness, then she might want to look into glamour modelling rather than Hollywood acting.
But more troublingly, why does she consider that nudity = industry respect? If that's how it worked then porn films would win Oscars and Jenna Jameson would be bigger than Julia Roberts. Being a serious actress requires more than a few daring pussy shots, Lindsay. Don't you know that yet?

Last week came news of the New Kids on the Block comeback, and now prepare yourselves Star Trippers as more pop strumpets past their sell-by dates fancy another stab at stardom. Sadly, 90s girl band All Saints have already squandered any good will towards them with their lame reunion in 2006, which after producing one hit song and a flop album, saw them being dropped by record label Parlophone. However, those optimistic types at the All Around The World label clearly think they're good for another shot and so are helping the quartet plan a new assault on our eardrums before the end of the year. It's not news to beat that Monday morning gloom, is it? [via The Sun]
Click over to find out which A-list couple said "I do" over the weekend, who Cameron Diaz is dating and who has gone from brunette to blonde.
After they acquired a NY marriage license last week, gossip was rife that rapper/ producer/ media mogul Jay-Z was gonna make things official with his long-term girlfriend Beyoncé. Now, news has leaked that the couple did wed on Saturday after Jay-Z's current touring partner Mary J. Blige congratulated the couple during a North Carolina gig. "Congratulations to my man, Jay-Z, and my girl B!" said Mary, and may Star Trip also add our best wishes to the happy couple. [via Us Magazine]
Lily Allen has ditched her brunette locks in favour of something a little lighter. The star was spotted with a new blonde do this weekend. Anything to distract from how crap that chat show is. [via Heatworld]
After cooing that "she loves boys", Cameron Diaz has gone and bagged herself some serious beefcake in the form of Scottish actor Gerard Butler. The pair has been seen on a few dates, which in showbiz terms means they're either just polite acquaintances or banging each other's brains out. You decide which story you prefer. Angelina Jolie has always been known for her wild and saucy ways, after all who else would get married with their groom's name written in blood on their clothes? But that's why we love her - it's all part of her kooky, free-spirit charm. Now, since starting her ever-growing brood with Bradley Pitt and committing herself to humanitarian work we rarely hear of Jolie's past naughty antics – until now…
American magazine In Touch Weekly has gotten hold of some photographs of the star, when only a slip of a girl, aged sixteen. When the rest of us were spotty and awkward in our teens, Jolie looked depressingly stunning, but that is not why the pics are garnering so much media attention. No, it's the lack of clothes that Angie is wearing.
Okay, so there's no nudity in the pics ala Lindsay Lohan, but in the shoot with photographer Sean McCall the budding young actress did pose rather provocatively in her underwear. There is also a video of the shoot, for those in need of further proof – y'know just to verify it's her.

So you read Star Trip religiously (of course) and are constantly scouting the Interweb for celebrity gossip. How's about putting your money where your mouth is and testing your skills on the Star Trip quiz? Sadly, there is no prize apart from the immense feeling of satisfaction and pride that will come as result of scoring full marks. But that's enough isn't it?

4. "I wasn't the skater dude or anything. I tried really hard in school. I got good grades. I was in advanced classes so, if anything, you'd probably call me a nerd." Who is this Wild Cat of a teenage hunk talking?
5. Which sexy star was voted best dressed man by GQ magazine for the second time?
6. I've been rocking it in a New Jersey band since 1983. I was married to Heather Locklear and had a fling with her chum Denise Richards. I got arrested last week for driving under the influence with my daughter in the car. Who am I?
Click over for the answers.

2. George Clooney.
3. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.
4. Zac Efron.

Click over for the pop reunion no-one needs, a female sleb admits she's addicted to men and which late star might have a secret love child?
Take That, The Police, The Spice Girls. What do these groups all have in common? Yes, they've all reunited of late. Add to that list New Kids on the Block. The early 90s boyband that had us "hanging tough" are gonna meet up on this Friday's edition of US programme Today to reveal their future plans. Will they still be capable of "the right stuff"? (Okay, I'll stop it now!) [via Truemors]
Cameron Diaz might have seen herself replaced by Jessica Biel in the affections of ex-boyfriend Justin Timberlake, but the actress claims she loves being single. "It's been nice not having a boyfriend for the past year," she tells GQmagazine. "In fact, it's the first time I haven't had one in 10 years, and I'm enjoying what I'm getting out of this moment. I like boys — a lot. I'm boy crazy. That hasn't changed since I was very young." Sounds like a call to arms fellas. [via Us Magazine]
The late Heath Ledger might have fathered a secret love child during an affair with a married woman. Bored of the Kristin Davis sex tape scandal? Well, here's a new one for you. Lindsay Lohan and Calum Best. Eek – it's enough to make you wish you hadn't eaten all those Easter eggs over the holiday weekend. The pair of flighty ne'er do wells shacked up together last year and now we can all enjoy a seedy insight into their 'romance' courtesy of Calum's mobile phone. Dare you read on?
The footie legend's son and Love Island Romeo taped his and Lindsay's romp and sent it to some of his chums. Now it's been leaked online and this pic, though grainy, does look like a plausible snap shot of the twosome's bedroom antics.
Calum is no doubt thrilled at this, such seedy gossip extending his 15 minutes of fame, though La Lohan is said to be horrified at the news. The Mean Girls actress might have spent her time since leaving rehab pimping herself out to every magazine going in a bid to resurrect her flagging career and even getting naked for one publication, but a sex tape? Even she has limits. Apparently.
"I can't believe you would ever fucking do this to me," she allegedly ranted to Calum via phone over the Easter break. "I should have listened to everyone, I should never have fucking trusted you.”
And there lies the moral of the story children - don't go near Calum Best.

No-one likes to be thought of as unsexy, especially celebrities, and so when Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker was deemed such by lad's mag Maxim she was rightfully a tad peeved. After all, there are so many grotesque, turn-your-face-away-in-revulsion hags out there, that surely style icon and Hollywood leading lady SJP couldn't be the worst of the worst?
"Do I have big fake boobs, Botox and big lips? No. Do I fit some ideals and standards of some men writing in a men's magazine? Maybe not. Am I really the unsexiest woman in the world? Wow! It's kind of shocking" admits the actress.
"It's so brutal in a way, so filled with rage and anger. It upset him [her hubby Matthew Broderick], because it has to do with his judgement too. It's condemnation, it's insane. What can I do? I guess you can't please all people."
No, and you shouldn't try SJP. It says more about the readership of tat like Maxim than it does about you.

If you were to host a fancy schmancy showbiz shindig, which star performer would you book to sing? Someone reliable. Someone charming and courteous. Someone not likely to rant about their incarcerated husband and forget their own lyrics. Apparently not, as rehab runaway Amy Winehouse is being courted to sing at a Hollywood bash thrown by top stars Julia Roberts and George Clooney.
The event is to be hosted by fashion icon Giorgio Armani and held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume in May. And how much could the Wino expect to pick up for her troubles? A whopping half a million pounds. Wow – those A-listers sure overpay for some off-key warbling and nervy dancing.
A source close to the Wino claims that "she hasn't really taken it in - and keeps saying that her life is getting more surreal by the second". That'll be all the drugs. The insider went on to explain how Armani wishes to chat to Amy about future collaborations. Who knew that ratty bee-hive wigs were so fashionable?

She's most famous for playing the prim and proper Charlotte in Sex and the City, but has actress Kristin Davis out-vamped her SATC co-stars to star in a homemade sex tape? That's the question horny lads with a broadband connection want to know the answer to, after compromising photographs purporting to be Kristin hit the Internet. So is it her or isn't it?
Click over for all the naughty details.
The official line from camp Kristin is that this is another clever celebrity hoax. Her rep commented: "This is not a photo of Kristin Davis. There is no sex tape." But conspiracy theories continue to circulate with some corners suggesting that no – there is no sex tape, but yes - that is the actress in those saucy snaps.
The pictures, totaling near 20, are said to come from an ex of Kristin's that dated the television star back in 1992. Now apparently angry with her (for what? 1992 was a LONG time ago, let it go already), he has sold them to a guy who sold them to another guy who posted them online. As you do.
I would imagine this is not how Kristin would have liked to start the publicity trail soon to start for the release of the Sex and the City: The Movie, to be released in May. But you never know – anything to upstage Sarah Jessica Parker…

She's finally popped! Congratulations to actress Halle Berry, who has given birth to a baby girl. This is the first child for the Oscar-winner and her fella model Gabriel Aubry who met filming a Versace ad back in 2005. The star's publicist Meredith O'Sullivan told People.com that Halle is "doing great".
The X-Men star revealed to Oprah Winfrey that playing a mother in recent film Things We Lost in the Fire had added weight and conviction to her maternal instincts. "I think it validated that I was meant to be a mother because every day I dealt with the character as a mother and thinking as a mother," said Berry. "It let me know that I must be a mother." So much so in fact, that she is already making plans for another with her 32-year-old beau. "There's just one baby at the moment, but we're hoping, straight after this one, to do it again!" remarked the star last October.

When you were a kid who did you look up to and admire? Chances are they were slightly more inspiring than the current crop of celebrities that British children claim are their top role models. A new poll conducted by the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) found that a whopping 53% of sprogs want to be David Beckham. With his footballing prowess, hoards of lusty female fans and impressive bank balance – Mr. Beckham is one of the more understandable and logical choices found on the list. Unlike other names…
David's Spice Girl wife Victoria was inexplicably voted the second choice with 30% of the vote. Yes, she too enjoys a life of celebrity luxury and was once a hard-working pop star – but a role model for young minds? Still, it could be worse – Paris Hilton made it to number six on the list.
Elsewhere, sporting stars such as Chelsea's Frank Lampard and Formula One rookie Lewis Hamilton proved popular as are actors such as David Tennant and Keira Knightley, with music being represented by the Sugababes, Leona Lewis and Nadine Coyle.
Being in double digits, the idea that these celebrities are worthy role models has me scratching my head in confusion (not cos I have nits – urgh!), however the general secretary of the ATL, Dr. Mary Bousted, is far less surprised.
"It reflects the current media obsession with celebrity and the effect of celebrity culture on society as a whole," she explained. "However, we are deeply concerned many pupils' believe celebrity status is available to everyone. They do not understand the hard work it takes to achieve such status and do not think it is important to be actively engaged in school work as education is not needed for a celebrity status.
"Celebrity culture can perpetuate the notion that celebrity status is the greatest achievement and reinforces the belief that other career options are not valuable."
And let's be honest – not every girl aspiring to be a WAG is going to be pretty enough to pull it off.

For years Angelina Jolie has been blamed for the break-up of Hollywood's former golden couple Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston (not by me Angie!), but new details reveal that all was not well within the marriage well before Brangelina was spawned. Comedian Omid Djalli co-starred with Pitt in the 2000 film Spy Game and has suggested that Brad "despised" Jen after only six short weeks of marriage.
Talking to the Daily Express, Djalli confirmed: "I did a scene with Brad in the back of a taxi and it was only a few days after he had married Jennifer. I chatted to him for hours giving him advice about the three stages of marriage. Stage one is perfection - blind love. Stage two is the difficult stage because you start to despise everything about her. If you can deal with the baggage you can possibly get to stage three - a harmonious marriage."
"After six weeks Brad came up to me", continues the comic "and said, 'I'm definitely in stage two, Omid!' I probably made it go up in flames!"
Of course, this is only one tiny glimpse into the A-lister's romance and subsequent 2005 divorce, but since everyone involved has been so tight-lipped, this nugget of gossip seems pretty juicy. So, what have we learned? That the marriage was doomed from the start. That Jennifer Aniston gets on your tits after no time at all, and that if you want some privacy on intimate matters – don't talk to Omid Djalli.

Since the initial controversies surrounding the tragic and untimely death of actor Heath Ledger have calmed down, those closest to the Aussie star have spoken about the man behind the actor. In a feature in Interview magazine, the more private and personal side to Heath is explored and revealed by many including his agent Steve Alexander, ex-girlfriend Naomi Watts, friends Ellen DeGeneres and Sean Penn, Oscar rival Philip Seymour Hoffman, director Todd Haynes (helmer of the Dylan bio-pic I'm Not There starring Heath) and most interestingly, his former fiancée and mother to his daughter, Michelle Williams.
"He had an uncontrollable energy," shared Williams. "He buzzed. He would jump out of bed. For as long as I'd known him, he had bouts with insomnia. He just had too much energy. His mind was turning, turning, turning - always turning. He had a talent for everything that he put his mind to. He didn't know limits. I think that the interesting thing about Heath, which maybe people have only really fully discovered in his death, his how vulnerable he was. You can pick up on it in his performances, but it's easy to overlook because he was so physical and beautiful and strong and masculine. But there was always that underlying sensitivity. That's who he was."
Seymour Hoffman was impressed with Ledger's exuberance when the two were rivals for the Best Actor Oscar in 2006. "His body was always in motion," explains the star, adding that Ledger had a "childlike enthusiasm". His agent Steve Alexander agreed, likening Heath to a "rolling stone". Fellow Aussie and former flame Watts noted "His acting was just so touching, so connected in truth. I think he was just getting started."

It seems that Keira Knightley is now such an accomplished actress that she has nothing else to learn or achieve in the world of cinema and so is turning to music for her next challenge. Of course I jest, Keira is not giving up acting (shame), but is going to give her vocal chords a good workout. The pouty star will appear on the soundtrack of her new film The Edge of Love singing three songs, yet she maintains she's no singer.
"I can't really sing," admits Keira in that gosh-I'm-so-jolly-normal way of her's. "I had to have a few lessons, but once I started doing it, a sound emerged that wasn't too disagreeable." Be honest love, you couldn't think your voice too rubbish or else you wouldn't be putting it out for there for every man and his dog to sneer at. Oh, how I hate such faux celebrity modesty.

Sorry ladies, it looks like that sexy beast Rhys Ifans is soon to be off the market. "Dear God – say it's not so", I hear you cry, but I am sorry to report that the grungy Welsh actor is now engaged to Sienna Miller. The boho (euphemism for dirty and unwashed) couple has been dating for a year, during which time Notting Hill star Ifans has proposed to Miller on three occasions, and now on his lucky third attempt, Jude Law's ex has said yes.
A source close to the couple (though, let's hope not too close, as they probably smell of joss sticks) has revealed: "Rhys has admitted he and Sienna are getting married. Everything is supposed to be hush-hush, but Rhys is over the moon and finding it hard to keep quiet... he can't believe she finally said yes." Me either – just look at the scruff of a man. How is possible to go from Jude Law to that? Anyway, as long as they're happy.
"Although Si and Rhys have a lot of famous friends, they will keep it low-key," added the chum. "They won't be signing up to some magazine deal." These famous friends include the likes of Keira Knightley, Kate Moss and Noel Gallagher. Of course they won't want a magazine deal – how can they all get trashed with an OK! magazine photographer in their faces?

It's the story that is everywhere – Dirty Dancing hunk Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. After the news was leaked to The National Enquirer, fans have been concerned about the actor's health. Is it true that he only has weeks to live? Let's hand over to his publicist to explain the sad situation.
"Actor Patrick Swayze has been diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer and is currently undergoing treatment. Patrick's physician Dr. George Fisher states, 'Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far. All of the reports stating the timeframe of his prognosis and his physical side effects are absolutely untrue. We are considerably more optimistic.' Patrick is continuing his normal schedule during this time, which includes working on upcoming projects. The outpouring of support and concern he has already received from the public is deeply appreciated by Patrick and his family."
The Internet is flooded with fan's outpourings of shock, sadness and sympathy for the Ghost actor. And here at Star Trip we want to wish Patrick all the very best in his fight against this awful disease. As always, please do leave a comment and share your fave memories of the snake-hipped star. Was it "nobody puts baby in the corner?", the pottery scene from Ghost, Point Break or 'She's Like the Wind?' This Star Tripper fondly cherishes his creepy turn as Jim Cunningham in Donnie Darko.

Lindsay Lohan, that shameless queen of self-promotion, last seen in the buff for a spread in New York magazine, graces the cover of next month's Paper magazine (pictured right) looking like she needs the loo. In the interview the Mean Girls stars opens up about her troubles (again!) It's no wonder she hasn't got any films out – she's so bloody busy just talking about herself. Who needs a career when you can be famous just for being famous, eh Linds?
On the past (drugs, booze, partying): "I had a lot going on in my life and that was a way of hiding from it," explains Linds like a corny therapist. "I hadn't seen my dad; I had a lot of work stress 'cause I was constantly working and never took time to stop. Everything was go-go-go, and the easiest thing was to run away from it, going out and drinking at night. You know, you don't have to think when you let go sometimes. But I didn't realize it was getting in the way of my work – what I've worked for my whole life."
On rehab: "There's not really much else to do when you're sitting in a treatment center. Its like, 'Why am I here? Let's think.'"
On the future: "Right now I just want to find a great script, a great role. I was so used to working and working and working, and for a good few months there was nothing for me to do. Now I know what it's like to be an out-of-work actor, and how much it scares me."
Clearly Lindsay feels a bit sorry for herself and hopes that we readers will sympathise with her 'plight'. So over to you Star Trippers – should we feel bad for Lindsay?

Nadine, Nadine Nadine *shakes head and sighs wearily*. We all know what a bad time you had in your former relationship with professional douchebag Jesse Metcalfe but is this really the best move? Maybe you should spend some quality time alone – knitting, learning the harmonica, watching daytime TV – anything but rush into another ill-conceived fling. Isn't the mess band mate Cheryl's in enough to deter you from slimy men? Apparently not. Yes, Star Trippers, Nadine is said to be dating Hollywood womanizer Josh Hartnett.
I'm sure the 30 Days of Night star might seem like a good catch. He's a high profile actor and could help break you in Tinseltown, but the list of women he's been with is frighteningly long and not always of top quality. Rumer Willis? I ask you and look at poor Kirsten Dunst now holed up in rehab. Please re-consider your options Nadine. Being single isn't such a sad state of affairs but being made to watch your man in Pearl Harbor is. Think on girl.

To us in the UK, the name Jimmy Kimmel doesn't mean much. To catch up - the guy is a late night chat show host in the US and the boyfriend of the fantastic comedienne Sarah Silverman. To celebrate their five-year anniversary, Silverman made the hilarious music video I'm F***ing Matt Damon, where she revealed to Kimmel in a duet with People's sexiest man that they were doing it "on the bed, on the floor, on a towel by the door."
Now, Jimmy has decided to have his revenge and has followed up Sarah's naughty ditty with one of his own, in which he reveals that he is "f***ing Ben Affleck". The music clip features a host of top showbiz stars eager to become YouTube heroes including the likes of Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Harrison Ford. The eagle-eyed among you will spot loads of familiar faces throughout, but for me the highlight is Ben Affleck in his spangly, skin-tight top. Enjoy!

Very much in the shadow of the Oscars, the Independent Spirit Awards were also dished out this weekend. Juno won three awards, but the big news from the Hollywood shindig was the baby-shaped bump shown off by Angelina Jolie. Accompanied by her squeeze Bradley Pitt, the actress, nominated in the Best Female Lead category for A Mighty Heart, wore a long, clingy black dress that revealed that either those pregnancy rumours are true, or that she should have worn some control pants after a sizable lunch.
The gossip is that like Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Alba, the Oscar-winner is housing twins, but a spokesperson for Brangelina has failed to confirm the happy baby news, simply saying "no comment". A source close to the couple that obviously didn't get the memo to stay schtum has been opening up to People magazine, revealing that they are "thrilled to be adding to their brood." Last week four-year-old Pax Thien was officially adopted by the glamourous couple, while they also have Maddox, Zahara and Angie's first biological sprog Shiloh. Pregnancy is the new rehab!
I have been known to stay up all night and watch the Oscars coverage live, but since my student days are now over, I'll have to content myself with the highlights tonight on Sky One, 10pm. So for those of you who want to remain in ignorance until you get a chance to watch it yourself, now is the time to look away.
For the rest of us the big news is the Coens' dark western No Country for Old Men won big, taking Best Picture, Best Director, Best Supporting Actor (Spanish hunk Javier Bardem) and Best Adapted Screenplay. And who else will now have a little gold man to find room for in their downstairs toilets? (As that's where all the top luvvies keep them, dontcha know.) Read over for the other Oscar triumphs.
In the major acting awards, Daniel Day-Lewis bagged his second Oscar for Best Leading Male in P. T. Anderson's There Will Be Blood, while French actress Marion Cotillard won the female equivalent for her turn as singer Edith Piaf in La Vie En Rose. British outsider Tilda Swinton provided a shock by winning the Best Supporting Actress gong for her performance as a ruthless lawyer in Michael Clayton, while Dollymix fave Diablo Cody was a popular choice for Best Original Screenplay for indie hit Juno.
Of course, there were plenty of other categories (best animated short anyone?) and for all the winners and who they beat (ha, ha!) skip on over to the Empire Online website, as they provide a seriously thorough breakdown of the results.
But as with all big awards ceremonies, there will be as much talk about the night's winners as those that wore bad dresses or messed up their autocue. Who can forget that swan get-up that Björk wore, Roberto Benigni acting all ker-azy and climbing over seats in a frenzy to get to the stage or James Cameron's cringe worthy minute of silence for those that died on the Titanic?
Oh, the glamour of this biz called show.

Congrats to J-Lo and her hubby Marc Anthony! People magazine reports that the Latino diva has given birth to twins – a boy and a girl. The female half of the pair made her grand entrance at 12:12am this morning weighing in at 5lbs. 7oz , while the boy followed later (typical) at 12:23am coming in at 6lbs. There had been much speculation about when J-Lo would pop out the sprogs, with talk of a hospital room being kept ready for her for the past few weeks. But now the two bundles of joy are out in the world and first-time baby mama La Lopez, (Marc Anthony already has three children), is suitably thrilled. "Jennifer and Marc are delighted," confirms the star's manager Simon Fields, "thrilled and over the moon."
We reported back in September that rumours were circulating that the diva was up the duff, but it wasn't until November that Lopez confirmed the happy news. Ever since, Jenny from the Block remained quite reticent to share her pregnancy gossip and it was her father that told the press that her sizable bump was hosting not one, but two babies. Leah Remini, a close friend to J-Lo has every faith in the star's maternal instincts calling her "a born mom" and adding: "With our daughter, she's so great. I mean, lets her go in her closet and play with her coats or her jewelry. She's just so giving and loving." How long until you sell some baby pics J-Lo?

Hollywood's coolest kid? I kid you not. American magazine In Touch Weekly has ranked celebrity spawn and decided upon who is the 'coolest'. I have to confess, I'm a bit baffled by the notion of being deemed 'cool' when still not potty-trained. How could they have calculated such a thing? Did they ask take a poll in the playground and ask which kid has the best trainers and the most Panini football stickers? I don't think so. It's probably more an extension of their parents, a dash of designer togs and how much a photo shoot with OK! magazine is worth, but nevermind. Everyone likes to be thought of as cool, and so onto those impressive tots…
In at number five is Ava Phillippe – the daughter of Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan. The number four spot is taken by our very own Brooklyn Beckham – edging out his brothers Cruz and Romeo to make the coveted list. Helene 'Leni' Klum, the offspring of supermodel Heidi Klum and Formula One boss Flavio Briatore is in at number three and at number two, narrowly missing out on the top spot is Suri Cruise (pictured). I had thought that the Scientology sprog looked a little like a slanty-eyed alien, but what do I know? And the one kid that all these famous faces look up to – click over for the number one coolest celebrity kid.
And the winner is (drum roll please) – Kingston Rossdale. With rock hunk Gavin Rossdale and the peroxide diva Gwen Stefani as your parents, 21-month-old Kingston has hit the genetic jackpot. The kid is often seen decked out in boho-trendy garb and has been described by his proud mother as "a chilled-out little guy". Keep up the good work Kingston, you'll have competition for the top spot soon with a sibling on the way.

It could be the most glamourous showbiz shindig EVER, or it could be some random weird ritual that involves taking off all your clothes off and dancing to Boney M (you never know in the wacky world of celebdom) but the news is that Brad and Angie are getting married. The A-list actors known as Brangelina are reported to be planning a small, intimate ceremony for later in the spring, with a source close to the couple opening up to the Sunday People. "They have talked about marrying for a while", reveals the insider.
"They have been together three years and sorting things out with Brad's mum is the icing on the cake." Brad's mum Jane was very much rooted in camp Aniston, having become close friends with his ex, but now she has welcomed Angie into the Pitt clan and is keen to help the pair make things official. The ceremony is believed to take place in Santa Monica and would be a touching moment for Hollywood's most stylish parents.

Here at Star Trip we love a celebrity romance. Whether A-list jet-setters like Brad and Angie or the more (how shall we say?) down to earth coupling of Jordan and Peter Andre. The star wattage is ramped up when too famous faces get it on and the newest couple on our showbiz radar could be two fresh-faced darlings of Harry Potter fame – Daniel Radcliffe and Emma Watson. He recently split with his girlfriend Laura O'Toole, while she was quick to deny rumours of a romance with Razorlight singer Johnny Borrell when they were snapped together at a fashion show. Could the two co-stars be falling for each other's charms?
The pair was spotted together sharing an intimate date on Valentine's Day in the garden of the Imperial Arms in west London (the garden? No wonder they were snuggled up together.) Onlookers seemed pretty convinced that they were watching the makings of a new romance, with one telling the Daily Mirror: "They arrived quite late at the pub - about 10pm - and sat outside, using each other's bodies for warmth."
"Emma kept looking over her shoulder nervously as if she didn't wanted to be recognised," adds the source. "When people started to notice the couple and began pointing, she wrapped her scarf around her head so only her eyes were peeping out. Daniel found her new look hysterical and started laughing. Throughout the night, in fact, he just kept giggling like a love-struck teen." Which is essentially what he might be – come on, the lad's only 18 after all.
"The pair seemed totally absorbed in one another's company. They then left the pub, heads together and whispering." It is believed that they headed back to his place. Innocent friendship or something to get a bit excited about?
[via Now magazine]
She might not have any films to promote (and a good thing too judging from her latest effort I Know Who Killed Me being nominated for 9 Golden Raspberry Awards) but La Lohan is simply everywhere at the moment. She's happily pimping out her post-rehab recovery (er, let's not get too ahead of ourselves, eh?) to the likes of Glamour and US Harper's Bazaar and has even been flashing the flesh to guarantee further press coverage. The Mean Girls star has stripped off for a fashion shoot with famed photographer Bert Stern for New York Magazine.
Of course it's all very significant and artistic, as the poses recreate those of Marilyn Monroe in her last photo shoot, dubbed the "Last Sitting". Stern took those snaps of the Hollywood legend just six weeks before her death and in her attempt to imitate Monroe, Lohan pouts for all she's worth in a short blonde wig. She appears with some floaty fabric and a bed, but the big surprise is her willingness to really go for it and not hold back. See over the jump for the other revealing pics.
Often when slebs get naked, the strategically placed material covers all those naughty spots which pubescent boys get a bit sweaty over. But not our Lindsay – when she gets naked, she really gets naked. There is visible nipple action and it all seems seriously at odds with her former glory as a Disney starlet. And just to up the ick factor, apparently her younger sister was in the room when the pictures were taken.

Hollywood actor Ryan Phillipe has been opening up to American magazine 'W' about what he calls "the darkest, saddest place I had ever been" after his 2007 divorce from Reese Witherspoon. In the interview the Crash star denies that he cheated on Oscar-winner Witherspoon with Australian actress Abbie Cornish: "It was unfair for her to be called the names that she was, because it wasn’t about that," he explains. "I don’t think an outside person can ever cause a divorce. I had difficulties in my relationship, and in my marriage, long before I ever met her."
Speaking on why the Hollywood couple split after eight years of marriage and having two children together, Ava, eight and Deacon, four, Phillipe reveals: “People want answers. But I think sometimes they wouldn’t be happy with what the answers would be. The reason for the breakup was far more complicated and far less interesting than it’s made out to be. To look and search for these salacious reasons, to pin it on a person, or a moment in someone’s life, it’s not realistic.”
Phillipe is now moving on after the split, though admits how difficult it was. "There were a good four or five months of not being able to get out of bed. It was the worst time in my life. You get through it. It’s a process that’s not easy, but I get less and less sad about it every day.”
Witherspoon is now dating her Rendition co-star Jake Gyllenhaal, but Philippe refuses to confirm that he is dating Cornish. Come on Ryan – there's no need to be coy – maybe you guys can double date?

Another day, another young star gets unnecessary plastic surgery. Today's case - Brittany Murphy. I've always had my suspicions about the actress' transformation from ugly duckling Tai in 1995's Clueless to the more glamourous, sexy role of Shellie in Sin City, but now with damning before and after pictures, the evidence speaks for itself – Brittany has gone and bought herself a trout pout.
The 30-year-old actress was photographed at a New York Fashion Week event recently sporting a recently acquired top lip. But one question remains – why? Why do this to yourself Brittany? You are a young, pretty successful actress that doesn’t need to fatten up your pout to make waves in Hollywood. And since when did you ever see a picture of a celebrity with a trout pout that looks good? Weren't the likes of Meg Ryan and Leslie Ash warning enough?

You're a nobody in young Hollywood if you haven't been to rehab, and so keen not to be outdone by the Lindsay's and the Britney's, Kirsten Dunst has checked into a treatment facility. The Spiderman actress was said to be acting strangely at a recent bash at the Sundance Film Festival and so has checked in to the Cirque Lodge in Utah, the recent home of repeat offender Lindsay Lohan. And what was this "strange behaviour" you ask? Turning up late (sounds normal), leaving early (a little less normal) and "making out like crazy" with Josh Hartnett (quick – get the men in white coats ASAP!)
Talking to 'Star' magazine, a source revealed: "She desperately needed help. She seemed to be intoxicated when she checked in because she was acting really erratic. She was extremely emotional, constantly breaking down in tears. She not in a good place right now, but thankfully, she's getting the help she needs." Fingers crossed that Kirsten manages to
sell her story to the press clean up and learn the error of her ways – making that god-awful Spiderman 3.

The results of the toxicology report following the tragic death of Heath Ledger last month have confirmed that the 28-year-old actor's overdose was "an accident". The NYC medical examiner claims that the sad passing was a result of the "abuse of prescription medications", caused by "acute intoxication by the combined effects of oxycodone, hydrocodone, diazepam, temazepam, alprazolam, and doxylamine."
These drugs are more familiar as the OxyContin painkiller, ibuprofen, the anti-anxiety drugs Xanax and Valium and sleep aids Restoril and Unisom. Former fiancée Michelle Williams and the couple's 2-year-old daughter Matilda arrived today in the Oscar-nominee's hometown of Perth, Australia to attend the burial of the Aussie star.

She might be America's sweetheart, but is anyone else fed up with Jennifer Aniston's apparent inability to move on after her 2005 divorce from Brad Pitt? Heartbreak isn’t anything to be flippant about, but since the demise of Hollywood's formerly golden couple, the ex-Friends actress seems to be very good at 'leaking' stories of how devastated she still is to the world's press. Note exhibit A - another report from a close friend that once again reminds us that Jen is the wronged victim and Angelina Jolie, the evil other woman.
The source tells 'Star' magazine that the current reason for Jen's depression is the new baby gossip surrounding Brad and Angie. "Jennifer is putting on a brave face, but inside she is really upset," 'confides' the friend. "She wasn’t prepared for how she’d feel when she saw the pictures of Angelina and her bump. It took her by surprise because it was further proof of just how much Brad has moved on with his life compared to her.”
"Jennifer is desperate for kids. She can feel her biological clock ticking and is scared that she has left it too late. She keeps saying that she wishes she’d had kids with Brad and that, if she had, maybe things would have worked out differently. Splitting up with Brad was the hardest thing Jennifer ever went through, so hopefully she’ll get over this latest hurdle. She’s made of strong stuff.”
Hear, hear. Move on Jen. Put Brangelina behind you, stop using the press to remind us of your personal woes and sniff out a new man to get you knocked up. After all, you'd have thought that with Brad and Angie's commitment to expanding their family that news of more children was hardly a surprise.

We all have our own personal style icons, from Katherine Hepburn to Nicole Richie, there is always a look that someone can take inspiration from. Here I am going to count down my five favourite fashion moments from 2007, from my five favourite fashionistas of the year.
Number one: Dita Von Teese
Although she makes her living by taking her clothes off, no-one can deny that Dita shines on the red carpet. She always manages to look classic and elegant with that slightly gothic edge. On November 15th when she attended the fashion industry’s battle against HIV/AIDS at the ‘7th on Sale’ gala, she looked incredible in this black and gold Marchesa evening gown.
Two: Gwen Stefani
From her time fronting the ska-fused No Doubt to her Alice in Wonderland themed solo debut, Gwen has always got people talking about her fashion choices. Over the last few years she really has come into her own as a style icon. My favourite fashion moment from her this year was on September 5th when showcasing her Spring 2008 L.A.M.B range. She accessorized her teeny tiny houndstooth dress, from the range, with the perfect accessory, her son Kingston held firmly by her side.
Three: Victoria Beckham
Mrs Beckham has had many ‘That Dress’ moments. This year was no exception. My favourite, and the look that has spawned countless copycats, was when she stole the show as David signed up at the LA Galaxy football club on July 13th. Wearing a pink ‘Moon’ dress by Roland Mouret, only seen on the catwalk days before, with a Pink Birkin handbag, and her blonde Pob, she takes a nod at the traditional LA look, without going that step too far into Barbie territory.
Four: Lily Allen
When she started her career, Lily Allen brought a whole new meaning to chav-chic. With her vintage ball-gowns matched with Nike trainers and gold doorknocker earrings, she was certainly difficult to ignore. This year she has still been seen out and about in fabulous ball-gowns, but her taste has become more refined, perhaps because she is one of Largerfeld’s newest muses. Having lost weight after a health scare in the autumn, she looks elegant and poised in this Chanel dress that she wore to the pre-view of the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2008 collection in London.
Five: Katie Holmes
Although Katie Holmes has been criticized by many who feel that she is dressing at least twenty years older than her age, there is no denying that she completely outshone Tom Cruise at the recent Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf. Showing off a new fringe and bob while wearing a Monique Lhuillier outfit, she looked every inch the glamorous film star wife.
1st Runner Up: Jennifer Lopez
After months of is she/isn’t she J.Lo finally confirmed her pregnancy on the last night of her tour. While her Cavalli designed stage outfits were meant to disguise the bump, the Grecian gown she wore to the Conde Nast Media Groups 2007 Movies Rock at the Kodak Theatre on December 2nd made her look radiant without being over the top, Christina Aguilera take note.
2nd Runner Up: Keira Knightley
It has to be Keira in the green dress she wore in Atonement. Although not strictly a fashion moment as it was confined to celluloid, there is no denying the fashion world sat up and took note of this 1940s wonder, with countless fashion spreads on how to perfect this look, many featuring a version of that dress.

For years it's been fairly well known that the slightly butch looking Foster has a penchant for the pussy, but in the typical Hollywood way nothing has ever been confirmed. For years she's been seeing film producer Cydney Bernard but resisting any labels of lesbian being placed on their relationship. However, last night at an awards ceremony she paid tribute to "my beautiful Cydney" during a speech, which naturally set the gossip hounds tongues a wagging.
But why should it? She's a smart, sassy intelligent and successful woman, does it really matter who she beds down with at night? Some argue that she should declare her sexuality to the world and stand as a gay icon, but hey, isn't that almost backwards in the gay rights issue- displaying her as an anomaly rather than an acceptable member of society? You decide...

Ok, some people may have stopped buying calendars when they graduated from primary school, but there clearly is still a large market aimed at the post pubescent purchasers (mainly male, my investigations have revealed, but why should I judge?) so to cope with the demand there are a plethora of scantily clad celebs stripping off to make a quick buck. Hey, they have bigger Christmas lists to deal with OK? So let's see what will be adorning bedrooms around the country for the next year.
Number 1: The Spice Girls
Well January does follow their December sell out tour, and I'm sure there will be new tweens obsessed with them as well as all the old queens debating which Spice they most resemble.
Number 2: Kelly Brook
Well, she is super hot, and ahas just released a perfume, so it's no surprise she's making calendar pages. Oh and did I mention she just launched her latest sexy undies for New Look?
Number 3: Hollyoaks
Now these hot honeys are truly pin ups, after all they can act and strip which is quite a talent. After all, as gripping as the Hollyoaks storylines can be (who doesnt love the did she/didn't she sleep with her brother twist at the moment) we know that a fair majority of men nationwide just watch, well OK the McQueen sisters help a lot, but all the rest ares seriously gorgeous too.
Number 4: Girls Aloud
No longer the 'sound of the underground', these girls are mainstream hotties. With their name on everything from phones to underwear these Girls are hotly touted to make the Christmas No1, and the number 1 stocking filler!
Number 5: Jordan
Yes this big breasted lady will be making a stir in 2008, as always the lad mags favourite, Jordan a.k.a Katie Price has been hot to trot in 2007, with the launch of a fragrance, hair accessories and a Richard and Judy style chat show. Go Jordan!!

This is just the world’s worst film trailer – EVER. Mischa Barton, former star of the O.C. and international magazine cover girl has obviously fallen on hard times as she stars in ‘Finding t.A.T.u.' a movie enticingly billed as “two teenage girls, Janie who is American and Lana who is Russian, fall in love after meeting at a t.A.T.u. concert and are swept into a dangerous world of obsession, drug abuse and murder.” It's no Citizen Kane, is it?
Warming: the trailer looks like it’s been edited by monkeys and at four minutes is seriously over-long. t.A.T.u. might have been washed up for a while, but Mischa, why? Is this really the best you can get? Fire your agent, like yesterday!

Every girl needs a best friend, and as Paris has made a habit of discarding the old for the new ( as well as doing a passable imitation of a catholic school girl convert) we thought we'd try and redress the balance by suggesting potential NBF's for our lovely but lonely heiress.
Number 1 : Nicky Hilton
Well there's nothing like sisterly love when you're feeling down, and as long as Nicky's a brunette they don't have to battle it out for the bleach awards. Both are successful independent career women, and maybe Nicky's more low key lifestyle could influence Paris in a positive way. Boy trouble- big sis will sort it out, and as long as the girls stick together they can't fail. After all who else can really understand how a Hilton heiress feels?
Number 2: Dame Judi Dench
Sometimes a older wiser woman can be helpful, and Dame Judi would be a great maternal role model. true, Paris can chat to her own mum, but sometimes an outside opinion can be helpful. See how classy Paris looks next to the Dame- this could be the start of a more refined taste in clothes and lifestyle with sage wise advice from The Queen star.
Number 3: Kelly Osbourne
This reformed wild child could commiserate with Paris about the difficulty of growing up in the public eye, and giver her advice on her sartorial choices. Kelly has been vocal before about Paris's knickerless antics and I'm sure would have a sobering effect in person. In return Paris could share diet tips, and get hints on how to follow Kelly's footsteps onto the stage, where she currently stars in London's production of Chicago. And if Paris misbehaves I'm sure Ozzy would have a thing or two to say about it...
Number 4: Pamela Anderson
Both are blonde, both are known for not being body shy, and both have dated Rick Solomon, the other half to Paris's sex tape scandal. As well as comparing notes about him, they can also lean on each other, as Pam is no stranger to controversy, having her own sex tape scandal with Tommy Lee all that time ago.
Number 5: Nicole Richie
Well they do say that oldest friends know you better than anyone else, and though these girls have had their (MAJOR) differences, perhaps enough time has passed that they could recreate the time when they had just a Simple Life (sorry). Now that Nicole is a Mum to be perhaps she'll be a little less scary about her food intake, and a more sober Paris and her could hang out, drinking wheat-grass shots and shopping for her bump. It could be beautiful...

Is anyone else as shocked by this picture of Cate Blanchett on the cover of W magazine as I am? No doubt she looks absolutely stunning but I'm so used to seeing her looking pale and interesting as opposed to tanned and Californian! I love regal Cate who always looks dynamic, edgy and poised but I have to say on this front cover, she looks HOT! Interestingly this isn't the first cover this month of an Australian actress looking sexy at sea. Nicole Kidman did the honours for Vanity Fair with an unbuttoned shirt and exposed bra but whilst that left me wondering why, the Cate cover leaves me thinking wow. Keep reading for more pics of the smouldering shoot and read her interview for October's issue of W at Style .

- Keira Knightley might have established her name with Hollywood blockbuster films such as the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy and King Arthur, but the actress with body issues (she did call herself “big”) is keen to move away from them. She says, "I can't imagine ever doing another one. I had five months off from Pirates during the summer last year, when I made Silk and Atonement, and it was so great - I want to be able to explore emotions in smaller projects." So she wants to blight quality, mature films with her ‘acting’ instead of expensive American ones – got it. [IMDb]
- Paul Weller has defended tabloid favourite Amy Winehouse, calling her a “great role model.” The Modfather, who has worked with Wino in the past, is obviously hoping for a musical reunion: "She is an amazing, great talent and, despite what all the papers say, she is a great role model for people and I don't think the drugs and the drink and all that make a scrap of difference really." Tell that to the fans she regularly disappoints by cancelling her gigs. [Female First]
- Obviously determined to make the nation feel nauseous, Sharon Osbourne has been talking about her and husband Ozzy’s sex life. According to the X Factor judge, Ozzy is “like a rabbit, he’s terrible. Every song gets him in the mood for love. He’s just like that battery. Instead of that little rabbit they should have Ozzy’s willy banging a drum.” An image guaranteed to make stomachs lurch. [The Sun]
- Kerry Katona hasn’t been in the papers for a few days now and so has opted for the failsafe headline grabber: badmouth another celebrity. Over to Kerry: “I can't believe that stupid cow Jodie Marsh has married Matt Peacock. I think she's spent her whole life trying to be Jordan and now she's married Kate's ex. She's got sloppy seconds. How low can you go?” I don’t know Kerry, you tell me. [Now magazine]

Goodness, somebody save us! It appears, dear public, that the end is nigh. Chris Moyles is taking over the world. Not content with the prominent Radio 1 morning slot, the rotund fool has been on our TVs this summer on Big Brother's Big Mouth (how apt). And now it seems he is determined to spread his vastness across the big screen too.
After fellow Radio 1 DJ Dominic Byrne asked acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino whether he would consider offering Moyles a cameo, Chris appears to be considering Quentin's offer rather seriously.
Tarantino told Byrne: "If he comes in with $800 I will see him and consider him for the role - $800 is worth my time to see DJ Chris." Fantastically mercenary, that Tarantino. That's the kind of demands I like to see from a man in that position. Perhaps he thought it'd be enough to put off Chris, or that he'd take it as a joke. Little did he know that Chris Moyles is a humourless twat.
A Radio 1 spokesperson told The Mirror: "Following on from his appearances in Hotel Babylon and the hit movie Cars, we think Chris would be a natural in one of Quentin's movies and totally support him with this new film career." Bollocks. (Can I say that?)

- We all know J-Lo has plenty of junk in her trunk but does the star now have a bun in the oven? The singer/ actress who had been trying to get knocked up for the past few years by hubbie Marc Anthony could even be expecting twins. A source revealed: “the test calculated that she was about 12 weeks pregnant. The way the foetus is lying made it difficult for the doctor to tell if there was more than one baby in there." Let’s hope she’s in the family way and it’s not just some trapped wind. [IMDb]
- If the drugs rumours circulating about Jodie Kidd prove true, the model could be set to lose up to £500,000 in modelling contracts. So far Jodie has kept quiet on her reported cocaine habit – come on girl, let’s hear your side of the story. [the Daily Mail]
- Another Hollywood star keen to get up the duff is Brad Pitt’s lady friend Angelina Jolie. Busy collecting her Benetton collection of children, the Tomb Raider star mistakenly thought she was pregnant, only to be told by her doctor that she is too thin to conceive. Get scoffing those biccies now! [The Sun]
- Now that she’s had to abstain from the booze during her pregnancy, Charlotte Church has realised that she was pretty unpleasant when rat-arsed. Speaking to Cosmo the Welsh diva confessed that pregnancy “made me realise what a bad drunk I was. I would get nasty, aggressive and jealous. Drinking doesn't suit any of the women in my family.” Let’s hope she stays off it once she's given birth. [Now magazine]

- Everyone is abandoning the sinking ship that is Britney Spears's career. - “Weight is a big issue in Hollywood because I’m twice the size, height and everything else, of most of the girls who are going in to see the director for a part. When you realize that I am, at my size, one of the largest actresses there, you start to think, ‘I don’t think it’d be healthy for me to stay here much longer.” - Keira Knightley. Is she getting herself confused with someone else or does she have one of those wobbly fun-house mirrors? [Perez Hilton]
- Victoria Beckham is not going to be throwing any welcome parties for new L.A. resident Rebecca Loos. Mrs. Beckham is said to be devastated that her hubbie’s reported past bit-on-the-side is moving in on her turf and possibly jeopardising her acting aspirations. As an Oscar was practically her’s, eh? [Digital Spy]
- I love Dave Grohl. Not in a creepy stalker way, but even non Foo Fighters or Nirvana fans have got to hand it to the guy – he’s got style. And just to prove my fan worship worthy, the rock god has spoken out against socialite/ sex video star Paris Hilton: "Paris is f***ing lame. She's more offensive to me than anything. She's a total, raging, disgusting, rich, lazy party slut. I pray that my daughter will not turn out like her." Yeah, I’ll bet she does too after that outburst. [The Sun]

- Irish heartthrob Colin Farrell has deep pockets as shown by him taking homeless chum Stress on a shopping trip in Toronto. - The Beckhams have topped Radar magazine’s poll of the most over-hyped people on the planet. David was described as an "overpaid soccer star" while Victoria was labelled a "pointless collection of body parts.” Still, as long as she carries a donor card she could prove useful one day. [Digital Spy]

This year’s line up features the likes of Kate Moss, Scarlett Johansson, Catherine Tate, Christian Louboutin, Stephen Webster, and Grayson Perry who have taken inspiration from things they like or are famous for.
Scarlett Johansson designed a delicate lily in white, yellow and orange because "I’ve always loved enamel jewelery and I was looking at a lily when approached about the project." Kate Moss’s charm is a pretty turquoise and silver swallow. "I am happy to give my support to help fund crucial research, as so many lives are affected by this terrible disease" she says.

It’s all over for Hollywood stars Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams who have announced their split after three years together. The couple met on the set of Brokeback Mountain in 2004 and despite Heath’s weird cotton-ball-in-mouth way of talking in the cowboy movie, they fell in love and like all film star couples moved to Brooklyn (?) They welcomed baby girl Mathilda in October 2005, but now the romance has died and the pair are going their separate ways.
A close source revealed that: "The relationship had been rocky recently. They tried very hard to make it work but finally decided to separate. They just grew apart. They have a beautiful daughter and they are both committed to being great parents." The split is reported to be amicable, but it is all very sad. In the weird world of celebrity relationships, these two seemed relatively normal. What went wrong?

Keira Knightley likes her knickers! The Pirates of the Caribbean actress is at the Venice Film Festival to promote her new flick Atonement and has been talking to the press on those celebrities that forget to put on any undies before they leave the house. Britney and Lindsay – she means you.
The posh-voiced bean-pole blabs: "I'm not going to get blind drunk and then stumble out and fall over and puke up in front of people. I'm not saying I don't do that in private, but I try not to.” I like that – the image of Keira with dried vomit in her hair as she hobbles about drunkenly with the remains of a kebab down her clothes. That’s a picture I wanna see! She adds: “The whole celebrity thing is not magic. They're real people proving they're s**ttier than everybody else because they don't even wear knickers." I agree lady after all, it must get draughty down there without any pant protection.

Like true best friends, Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie are so close that they share everything – a penchant for dating celebrities, a tendency not to each much and now both have completed jail time (paltry though the sentences were.) And so in celebration of this bond, we at Star Trip look to other celebrity friendships that have garnered their fare share of column inches. We’re not interested in any of those obvious alliances that make sense – chums like Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox or Peter Kay and Corrie star Sally Lindsay. We want those that have you screwing up your face in confusion – they’re friends you ask?
Number 1: Victoria Beckham and Katie Holmes
Who knows how these two become friends but since that mysterious introduction Mrs. Beckham and Mrs. Cruise have become the world’s most photographed best friends. Posh is said to bestow Katie with marriage and fashion advice, though what Katie brings to the party we don’t know. She has copied Posh’s new cropped hairstyle, tags along with her when shopping and at football matches and hasn’t even managed to snag her any movie roles yet. In her favour, Katie and hubbie Tom did co-host a welcome to LA party for the Beckhams, but I wonder if their bond goes even further. Maybe they have already planned the future marriage of their children – I said maybe.
Number 2: Tom Cruise and Joss Stone
Joss Stone is hobbling around on crutches these days with crazy purple hair, but one of the most surprising things about the West country soul singer is her friendship with Tom Cruise. Yes, the Tom Cruise, that sparkly-toothed, air-punching, sofa-jumping megastar. On her Hollywood chum, Joss says: "He's just a guy. It's like a huge compliment, 'cos he is at the top-top-top of his tree. He's lovely. He's just a normal guy” Really? I thought Scientology beat that out of you. Having hung out with Tom and his kids she believes she has the inside scoop on the movie star: “He doesn't want anyone to hurt me, because he knows I'm just starting. He's like, if you ever need anything, just call me up. He's a lovely, lovely person. That's all it is. And he's really good at what he does." Don’t forget that plug for his acting talents Joss. What kind of celebrity friend would you be if you forgot to promote his work?
Number 2: Pamela Anderson and Liz Hurley
Apparently they had been buddies for years but it wasn’t until they were spotted together at theVanity Fair Oscar Party in 2001 that the world learned of the friendship between Liz Hurley and Pamela Anderson. People were surprised – what could the two possibly have in common? Well, there’s the limited acting ability, fixatation with their own breasts, rollercoaster relationships with other high-profile men, oh we get the point.
Number 5: Arnold Schwarzenegger and David Spade
Guess who turned up to help celebrate funnyman David Spade’s 43rd birthday back in July? Non other than Arnold Schwarzenegger. The Governator was caught on camera at the bash held at the Buffalo Club by website TMZ. In the footage, Arnie looked almost bashful that the paparazzi had clocked his friendship with Spade, as though some nasty secret - but we say be loud and proud Arnie. After all, they would make the ultimate in little guy/ big guy pairings, with Arnie kicking ass while Spade delivers the pithy putdown. Someone make this film now!
Number 4: Liza Minnelli and Martine McCutcheon
The media circus that was the 2002 wedding between Liza Minnelli and David Gest had a seemingly never-ending guest list. An invite to this showbiz ‘I do’ was considered no big deal in many elite circles. However when it comes to the actual wedding party for celebrity unions usually only the most trusted, intimate and close friends are involved. So everyone was surprised when ex Eastenders star Martine McCutcheon turned up as a bridesmaid. Yes – she wasn’t in charge of the guest list, the gifts or any other pointless job, she had been chosen to trot down the aisle as part of the main event. Sure there were about 15 bridesmaids, but Martine has found her celebrity chum to be an inspirational force: "If it hadn't been for Liza I would still be really depressed. I met her at a time when I was feeling disillusioned and she really helped me. She made me believe in myself again." And that’s what friends are for – aww!

Jamie Bell became a household name after the success of Billy Elliot but has kept a low profile since the pirouetting that brought him to prominence. Now, with new film Hallam Foe out at the end of the month, the 21-year-old actor is looking back on his rise to fame, how he remains grounded and why he’s pleased not to have won an Oscar.
So what if he had taken the gold statuette home? "I think it would have ruined my life. Can you imagine going back to school on the Tuesday after winning an Oscar? You'd be nuts. It's unsafe this industry to a young person. You need to be protected and to keep good people around you."
These ‘good people’ Jamie refers to include his mum Eileen, who has moved to LA to be close to her son. "The best thing she did was to lock me down for a while, straighten me out, send me back to school and let me be a kid for a while," elaborates Jamie. "At 14, 15, I was surrounded by adults and it's important to remember you're just a kid. It's great to act when you're young but it's important to have a regular life."
With the fame came external pressure to push on and become even more famous: "They're so quick to put you on a pedestal. You have to surround yourself with good people who love you for who you are and who you can trust. You're not the one who changes, it's just that people don't know how to deal with you when this stuff happens."
And what does Jamie think of other young rising stars making their names in Hollywood? "I watched the Oscars last year and I see Abigail Breslin, that little kid, getting nominated for Little Miss Sunshine, and [Best Supporting Actor winner] Alan Arkin said the best thing of the whole evening when he said, 'Thank God she didn't win. We've just saved this kid.' And it's so true.”
I wonder if he’d be happy to win an Oscar now that he’s so no longer a confused kid?

So who is dating Sienna Miller? First she was supposed to be getting it on with P Diddy, then came talk of Sean Bean, and then… phew, I’m exhausted just thinking about it. It’s like that scene in Spartacus when all the slaves revolt and stand up and shout “I’m Spartacus.” Maybe if you ask any guy if they’re getting jiggy with Sienna, an attractive, young, single girl and they’ll all pretend they are.
Well after endless gossip about the boho pixie’s love-life, news has leaked that she is actually dating Brothers and Sisters actor Matthew Rhys. The pair were introduced by the posh-voiced and pouty Keira Knightley back in May and have been keeping their new romance on the down low ever since.
A big-mouthed chum has been dishing the dirt: “This is the first bloke Sienna has been serious with since she finally split with Jude.” Ooh – so it’s serious then is it? Can I buy a hat or should I just wait and see if P Diddy or Sean Bean decide to slug it out for their woman?

LA is full of drug-addled young women, but none more famous right now than Lindsay Lohan. The actress and sometimes musician has been arrested twice this year for drunk driving and drug possession, even after a stint in rehab.
Now the clearly off-the-rails Lindsay has been lashing out at her peers. And it sure ain't pretty. She claimed Sienna Miller to be a "no talent crackhead" (see picture for an accurate depiction of something close to a "crackhead") and went on to blast Keira Knightley and Scarlett Johansson. She called the two "fat and ugly" and a "flat, shallow, cardboard cutout of an actress," respectively, according to reports in the National Enquirer.
She even went on to crown herself the "greatest actress in the world". All this lunacy only begs the question, was that coke really just a friend's Linds? At least she'd have an excuse for the saucer-eyes and the wittering of nonsense if she owned up.

There are some celebrities that you would cross the street to avoid (if ever the situation were to arise), and there are others that you like. Ones that you are genuinely interested in (and not in a love-to-hate way), think seem quite normal and could happily envisage yourself being friends with. Two such stars that I heartily approve of are Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon, and so after both endured very public, failed relationships, I was oddly pleased to read a few months back that the two of them had shacked up together.
Later news that it was all over, prompted me to wonder whether I had jinxed their budding romance with my over-enthusiasm, but fear not – the couple are back together.
After having met on the set of their upcoming flick Rendition, the private couple (they have never gone public with their relationship), have been spotted all over Hollywood together (see picture.) Their separation in June is said to have been prompted by Reese’s re-kindled commitment to her children, however a source told Us Weekly that "Reese came to terms with the fact that she can have a relationship and spend time with her kids." Huzzah – maybe I’ll get an invitation to the wedding!

Hands up who remembers the ‘80s? Chances are if you do, you will remember at least one of the two Coreys. Corey Haim (known as the Haimster, now I’m showing my age) and best friend and sidekick Corey Feldman were young Hollywood actors in films such as ‘The Lost Boys’. Haim was always considered the better looking of the two (not so much now) while Feldman was the funny one with the goofy smile.
Now with the ‘80s over, times must be tough for the two Coreys as they adjust to a world where you can’t admit to liking Michael Jackson or wearing shellsuits. Both have kissed goodbye to their film careers and after years of drug-taking and obscurity are keen to be back on the gravy trail. Enter their new reality show, which sees Haim move in with Feldman and his wife. The show, imaginatively titled ‘The Two Coreys’ has yet to start on US TV, but from this YouTube clip, American audiences are in for a real treat.

Jessica Simpson is best known for her reality TV show Newlyweds which followed her first year of marriage to Nick Lachey, and what a success that turned out to be. But she's determined to take over the world it seems. First a popstar, then reality TV, now movies and fashion are her focus.
Since her role as famous hotpants-wearer Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard the offers are pouring in, or so we're supposed to believe, and Jessica's dad has spoken out about the decisions involved. Apparently Jessica was offered the role of a porn star but, being from a Christian background (she famously preserved her virginity for her wedding night), her family wouldn't have that sort of thing.
Speaking at the ABC Television Critics Association party in Beverly
Hills, Joe Simpson, Jessica's dad and manager, told People magazine "We
were promised we would win an Oscar with that...I was like: 'We'll just
buy a statue of a little man and keep our clothes on.'"
Asked about his daughter's future plans, Joe added: "Jessica has three more movies to shoot; she has a new record coming in September. If the right role came up, of course, we'd never turn that down."
Could this be the same role that Scarlett Johansson has just been confirmed for? Reports claim that Scarlett, famed for her roles as general rent-a-sex kitten, is to play Jenna Jameson in an upcoming biopic. Sounds like that would have been a straight to channel Five effort were it not for the promise of thousands of ticket sales just to see Scarlett finally getting her kit off. That could've been you, Jessica. Just think!

It's not fair and it's not funny; spots my friend are no laughing matter, they can lead to scars, stress and seriously bad photo's but yet we celebrate. And why do we rejoice? Is it out of the darkness of our mean little hearts? No it's a celebration that celebs too can be human, and as open to bad skin days/ sweat patches/ and VPL's as the rest of us mere mortals, therefore thankfully realigning the boundary ever so slightly and making us feel, well, more normal.
Number 1: Cameron Diaz
Yes, the super cute Shrek star, and all round surfer babe Cameron has had trouble of the pimpled variety, suffering nasty looking spots on her cheeks and the blush inducing rosacea on her forehead and throat. A diet of clean living, fruit juice and exercise soon put an end to the troublesome skin, and Cam returned phoenix like, even more beautiful than ever, snaring a trousersnake on her return to glory, then discarding him for other more grizzly animals..
Number 2: Alicia Silverstone
This Clueless star always seems to look peachy clean, but twas not always the case, proving the magic of some well placed concealer can apply even to the A listers. We know it's not full blown acne, but even the pimples of the stars help us in our search for seeing the human withinn, and below those designer frocks and botoxed lips they have the same dimpling and spots that we do to.
Number 3: Jessica Simpson
This lady's struggle with skin has been well documented, ending in her lucrative Pro-activ contract, so this is one woman who knows how to sell, and how to market herself. Bad hair day? Jess does hair extensions. Bad skin day? She sponsors a blemish cream. Bad bellybutton day? She has her own line of bellybutton powder. (Really. This is a little to far) Now you can aspire to her skin should you buy the products, or you can really piss her off and get something from lil sis Ashlee's range.
Number 4: Billie Piper
Ex Dr Who hottie, former teen star and previous Mrs Chris Evans, Billie has been through a lot in her young years so perhaps it's not that surprising that all that stress and hormone imbalance caused her skin to break out so vehmently, crying, 'Water, water! No more beer..' It's all A OK nowadays though, and she's even managed to snare herself a hot new boyfriend who has aims at husbandship..
Number 5: Britney Spears
It's no surprise this once teen queen has suffered the curse of spots, after all, her fall from grace has been well documented, and it's a rare day we don't see her scoffing down a burger or slurping from Starbucks. Once she could do no wrong, then it all turned about head and suddenly even when she tries it seems that Britters just can't do anything right nowadays, being hailed as a bad mother, a washed up singer, an overweight dancer (unfair) and pizzaface. Charming. I'm however of the pinion that all these media slights will make Ms Spears stronger than ever, and she'll come fighting back with another annoyingly catchy song we can't get out of our head.
And just to show that men suffer to..
Yes, this hunk of manhood and darling of Hollywood once suffered from the terrible teenage trauma of acne! i don't know why this should warm us quite so much, but considering he went on to be the star of Titanic/Catch me you can/ Blood Diamond, I guess it just shows there's hope for us all yet.

Robbie’s publicist deserves a fat pay rise and sharpish for I simply love the most recent news from camp Williams. According to the Daily Snack, the former Take Thatter (is that what we call them?) is in final talks to be cast as Captain James T. Kirk in the new Star Trek movie. The big budget film, to be directed by Lost creator J.J. Abrams has just cast Sylar from Heroes in the role of Spock and is looking to nail down a captain for The Enterprise.
Robbie is said to be a big fan of sci-fi (find me a straight guy who isn’t) and apparently “jumped at the chance” to make his nerdy fantasies come true. Abrams is quoted as saying: "I think he’d be a good Captain Kirk. The Kirk in my movie is quite young, it’s like the early years. But I can’t comment on who we are casting just yet. You’ll have to wait."
So what does that mean? That Robbie has been approached? That he’s in the running but not yet confirmed? That he’s squeezing into those unflattering jumpsuit thingies as we speak or it’s a nice idea but as an actor he’s light years away from leading a Hollywood film? Whatever the truth, just getting his name mentioned with such a hotly anticipated project and one with such of-the-moment star names attached, means that his publicist is doing a great job, even if Robbie doesn’t land the acting gig.

Shiny Media favourite Maggie Gyllenhaal is a proper actress, with a brain full of clever opinions and a huge library full of leather-bound books (probably.) One thing she isn’t is a tabloid darling or media favourite, and so it was a welcome switch when it was announced that she would be replacing Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes in the next Batman film. But how does she feel about inheriting the role from Mrs. Tom Cruise? Well, being able to string a sentence together without help from her PA, she’ll tell you. "I'm not walking into Katie Holmes' performance.”
"I'm thinking of it as an opportunity to play somebody who's alive and smart. Chris (Nolan) asked me to do this because he wanted me, not because he wants some generic lady in a dress." Ooer – did anybody else feel the cold draught there? Credit to Maggie for speaking her mind and saying what many other people in Hollywood are bound to be thinking.

It's been a while since we've seen Tara hit the headlines, which doesn't mean that she's still not a crazy ass party girl; more that she's choosing to keep a lower profile. Air-brushing, good lighting, constant supervision from a make-up artist (how very Victoria Beckham) – there are many ways for celebrities to look better on the front cover of a magazine than how they look first thing in the morning. What is quite depressing is how many of them take it a step further and get cosmetic surgery. Slebs, with the media, present the world with unattainable ideas of beauty and then struggle to meet their own standards. For those of you having a spot break-out today, hate your wonky nose or wish you had fuller lips, never fear as Star Trip is at hand to make you feel better. We present a quite revealing YouTube clip of stars who have had a bit of help from their surgeon, from those you knew had, to those that you didn’t. According to this, no-one in Tinseltown is actually naturally good-looking – score!

Celebrities are not often caught eating food. For them it is the sure-fire way to lose your svelte figure, your magazine covers, your whole GODDAMN career. Famous folk like to pretend their bodies are nourished on a diet of fresh air and air-kisses. Nothing with calories, nothing with nutritional value, nothing full-stop. Victoria Beckham failed to even eat the gift of a cookie bestowed upon her by blogger Perez Hilton during one of the many set-up scenes in her ‘documentary’ aired earlier in the week. And yet, they’re not all stick-thin. We’re constantly bombarded with the images of disturbingly stick-thin stars like Amy Winehouse and Nicole Richie, but not all eating disorders mean size zero waists. Some stars like their food, Hell love their food, but hate the accompanying love handles. This leads them into a dangerous cycle of binge-eating and drastic dieting, turning them into veritable Jekyll and Hydes – which one will you meet? The one making their way through all the cheeseburgers in McDonalds single-handedly or the one with killer abs and a personal trainer? Here we have the top 5 celebrity yo-yo dieters.
Number 1: Janet Jackson
When Justin Timberlake accidentally revealed to the world Janet’s breast during a performance at the Superbowl, Janet was embarrassed but probably thanking her lucky stars that she had slimmed down for the event. Janet is a classic yo-yo dieter, sometimes Michael’s lil sis looks mean and lean with a six-pack you could grind cheese on, and at others times she seems bloated and frumpy. In June 2006, she appeared on the front cover of US Weekly magazine, only for the edition to become the magazine's best selling issue ever. It showed a skinny Janet, having lost a whopping 60lbs and telling all on her fitness regime and tough diet. She claimed that she had bulked up for a film role that never happened, though close friends remained dubious. Recent pictures suggest that she has once again been attacked by the munchies, though she claims it is due to being stuck in a recording studuo rather than on one of her carb-killing tours.
Number 2: Britney Spears
What else is there left to say about the fallen pop princess? Her life seems to be one crazy rollercoaster ride of men, children and addictions. Her reputed craving for booze might be more headline-grabbing, but Britney clearly likes some food to be washed down with her liquor. Now I am not going to rudely label her as fat or chunky, as Britney packing a few extra pounds is still slimmer and sexier than most girls, but she herself has come clean on her love for food. She was a big fan of junk food (fried chicken in particular) when carrying and then nursing her two young sons, and rumours persist that she has only managed to shed the baby weight with a little help from the surgeon. Whatever the real story is, Britney’s not telling, but with everyone from her mum to her husband being shown the door, her relationship with food doesn’t seem to be going anywhere.
Once he dazzled us with his dancing moves and trim figure in hits such as ‘Saturday Night Fever’ and ‘Grease’ but now he’s happy to dress up as a fat lady in ‘Hairspray!’ – go figure. John’s in his 50’s and a Hollywood A-lister, so I can understand his reluctance to get down the gym and shift a few pesky pounds. But it’s not always been this way. John has had many serious battles with his weight in the past and been made to slim down for film roles such as ‘Swordfish’. At the time, he even happily bared his newly gained six-pack at the MTV Movie Awards. John has been very public about his fight against the flab and should be admired for coming clean about a subject that Hollywood is only interested in once you’ve lost the weight.
Number 4: Oprah Winfrey
Not being American, I don’t understand the world’s love for Oprah. I’m sure if she knocked on my door for a chat, she’d be a most interesting conversationalist, but until that time I have yet to see the fuss. Oprah has endured incredible hardships in her life and remains an icon for many and yet in the UK the only time we are really reminded of her and her celebrity is when she’s spent too long at the buffet table. In 1988 she exhibited a wagon-load of fat on her TV show to signify her 67lb weight loss, but has since admitted regretting the move, as she soon gained most of the weight again. She said, "I had literally starved myself for four months - not a morsel of food. Two hours after that show I started eating to celebrate - of course, within two days those jeans no longer fit!"
Reminding us that there was food available on the set of ‘Friends’, comic actor Perry has had the cameras rolling as his weight fluctuated. Watch the ‘Friends’ seasons back to back and the changes are shocking – one moment he’s gaunt and scrawny, the next he’s clearly been enjoying his food. Since leaving the hit sitcom, his weight battles have raged on. For a while he was amazingly toned and athletic looking, but has recently been photographed jogging looking quite out of shape. We wish him health and happiness as he works out what’s best for him and his body.
Celebs just love doing their bit for charity. Often this involves a pop concert or a telethon thingy, either way they want us to part with our cash for a good cause. This time the good cause is Amnesty International’s campaign to make some noise. The advert here features many the famous bod riffing on this theme in their own ‘quirky way’ and really is a case of blink-and-you-miss-em. It’s one of the pet projects of George Clooney and features everyone from top Hollywood stars like Tim Robbins and Joaquin Phoenix to Patrick Kielty. Yes, you read correctly – that Northern Irish ‘comedian’ from 'Fame Academy'. These charity adverts really do need to be discerning with the folks they enlist.

My mum is tops, and like a good daughter I am suitably adoring. But I know others aren’t so lucky and have to struggle on as best they can by themselves. Some women are just not naturally maternal and as such can find motherhood a struggle. But celebrities excel at everything, don’t they? If they can sell out concerts in minutes, win Oscars and pen best-sellers and all the while look radiant and flawless, then surely they must make perfect parents? We bring you the top 5 most questionable showbiz mums, and honestly it was hard limiting it to five (Britney didn't even make the list!)
Number 1: Kate Moss
Yes, Kate Moss has a child. A four year old girl in fact, called Lila Grace who lives with her. Kate is one of the world’s most photographed women, constantly makes headlines internationally and yet her daughter remains mysteriously mysterious. On the one hand, this could be due to Moss protecting her precious infant from the intrusive media glare, but on the other it could be that she’s been too busy getting high, ‘designing’ Top Shop clothes and dating Pete Doherty to notice that crying bundle in the corner (I suspect the latter.) With a mum known for drugs, sleeping around and looking like a gaunt tramp, we should book Lila Grace her spell in rehab now.
Cocaine Kate is a junkie novice when it comes to Whitney. The ex Mrs Bobby Brown is mummy to 14 year old daughter Bobbi Kristina Houston Brown, but her parenting duties never held her back when it came to her partying ways. Her own sister even sold a picture to the National Enquirer of her bathroom cluttered with drugs. But it’s not just the drugs. Whitney has a rumoured eating disorder, has sold off her own clothes to stave off bankruptcy and was being sued by her own father when he died in 2002. She has undergone rehab, with many fans hoping that with her recent divorce from bad influence husband Bobby Brown, she can finally sort herself out. News that she is now dating infamous sex-tape star Ray-J rains on that parade.
The fact that I have even heard of Lindsay Lohan’s mum says it all. The ultimate ‘pushy mum’, Dina is an attention-seeker, happy to ride the coat-tails of her famous daughter to achieve her own fame. She has indulged and even benefitted from Lindsay’s much-publicized addiction problems and has used the media as a tool in her war against her former husband and Lindsay’s jailbird father Michael. In Hollywood she has surreptitiously campaigned to earn a spot as one of the presenters on US talkshow ‘The View’ and is now in talks to do a reality show tentatively called ‘Mom-ager.’ This programme will follow Dina as she tries to turn Lindsay's younger siblings — Ali, 13, and Cody, 11 — into stars. Well, the first child turned out so well, so why not?
Courtney had a troubled childhood and having learned from the experience, seems to have successfully provided her own daughter with one as well. Love is most famous for being the widow of Nirvana’s Kurt Cobain, a marriage which spawned their now 16 year old daughter Frances Bean Cobain. Yes – shit name, even worse mum. Vanity Fair alleged in 1992 that Love continued to shoot-up during the early stages of her pregnancy (she denies it) and as a result the couple were investigtaed by Child Welfare Services and the girl removed from their custody for a period. Love has been on and off the drugs over the years and as such in and out of rehab. She’s had run-ins with the law and after experiments in plastic surgery and extreme weight-loss, even looks like a complete mess.
I’m not one to kick when someone’s already down, but I have never been a fan of Jade Goody and so feel entitled to weazle her out as a bad showbiz mum. Goody has two sons, Bobby Jack and Freddie, from her rocky (violent) relationship with fellow reality TV star Jeff Brazier. Jade has not only endured public wrath over her apparent racism towards Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty, but also had her collar felt by the Police. She was arrested on suspicion of stealing a jacket from Asda, apparently punched a grandmother and was recently found guilty of two counts of driving without a licence and driving with no insurance, receiving a 6 month driving ban. All this and she can’t tell her left from her right – good luck kids, you’re going to need it.

Victoria Beckham is once again the biggest news of the week with her husband David. The pair have just moved to LA for David's start with his new club the LA Galaxy, and of course for Victoria's fashionable stance and pout to get a cross-Atlantic work out.
Amid the publicity mania our Vic' has sure learned a thing or two about how to create some press. During filming for her reality TV show Victoria Beckham: Coming To America (which is yet to hit screens) she hit out at one rich and famous American star, with surprisingly witty results. When asked about Eddie Murphy she quipped, "Eddie Murphy? Beverly Hills C**k."
Surprisingly sharp for the ex-Spice Girl. She was of course defending ex bandmate Melanie Brown who got knocked up by the cheating actor, before he denied fatherhood of the tyke. If Victoria keeps up this cattiness she might just be thought of as something more than a walking wardrobe, could she be considered witty and intelligent? Maybe that's a stretch.
Nothing says star quality more than a merchandised range/Barbie doll/ clothing line, and the pinnacle of it all would be the cartoonized version of yourself, which tells the world explicitly how you don't need to be 'real' to succeed, as you can now carry yourself on he weight of your own infamy. We bring you the top televised totty and their cartoon alter ego's.
Number 1: Lily Allen
She' smiling here, which is a good sign, as it makes a change to see Lil not mouthing off or bitching about Girls Aloud on MySpace. Lily makes the jump to cartoon exceedingly well, with the artist capturing her innocence and focusing on her fresh faced glow and curvy figure rather than her habit for smashing Coronoa bottles or wearing prom dresses with wellies. He did manage to put her in a red dress though, so the Lily Loves style still seeps through. A digital delight.
Number 2 : Pamela Anderson
Who could forget the show that was Stripperella, the fairy tale story for the adult generation. Not quite little girl grows up, meets princes, happy ever after, more little girls grows up, grows boobs, strips and creates her own happy ever after. Who else but Pammie could play our super heroine stripper, armed with her trusty stiletto gun to save the world from unscrupulous criminals, and men who don't know how to tip. Only one series? Shame.
Number 3: Cameron Diaz
Princess Fiona won our hearts in Shrek as the mild mannered ass kicking princess with a ogre issue, and as she burped her way happily through three films, we laughed and loved with her; as well as envied how even in a cartoon Cam still manages to come across as sweet and highly desirable.
Number 4: Paris Hilton
The socialites has already been portrayed oh so flatteringly in South Park, as the creator of the Stupid Spoiled Whore play sets, and her on screen outing was so popular that a whole show dedicated to the heiress is now in the works. It's promised to 'reveal a side of Paris we've never seen before', which as we've already seen jailbird Paris, sex tape Paris, and Simpleton Paris gives me pause to wonder what more she could show us that we haven't seen. Is pregnant Paris the logical next step?
Number 5: Kate Moss
So far there are no plans to immortalize Ms Moss cartoon style, but I think that TV makers should definitely sit up and take note. Interesting person? Check. Kooky lifestyle? Check. permanent relationship drama? Check. High profile? Check. You get the idea. We want more Moss... so get cracking with those pencils and let's have a model series.
It's Monday and stomachs may be feeling a little tender after the weekend excesses, but that's no reason not to enjoy this particularly fetishistic clip of Salma Hayek's feet. Or is it?
July 11, 2007 2:22 PM
Pubescent Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe has spoken out about his troubles with the ladies. Bless. He's quick to assure us he has no problem finding them, though, he's just scared of the press scandal. And rightly so.
Daniel has been branching out from the Harry Potter role lately with his appearance in stage play Equus (yes, that one where he got his chap out) and a new film December Boys. So we're afforded the uncomfortable experience of watching the lad grow into a fully fledged man before our very eyes. His recent cover for Details magazine is one the most disturbing thing my eyes have been treated to in some time, but it can only serve to get teenage hearts racing across the land.
Daniel told the Radio Times: "There's always this assumption that I must have girls throwing themselves at me. I don't do badly. I mean, I love girls. They're fantastic. But if I'm out somewhere and a girl starts to be really flirty, I can never be entirely sure who she might be, you know?
"Well, there was this one girl once who gave me her number and she was really beautiful, but she could have been a Sun journalist for all I knew, so I have to be careful. Let's just say I don't see the headline 'Dan Radcliffe Love Rat' appearing in the next few years. I just don't want to go down that road, thanks."
Wise move, Dan, otherwise I'll be typing up some seriously juicy gossip as soon as I can get my grubby mitts on a keyboard.
July 9, 2007 2:44 PM
Yes, we know it's bad for us, and we do know about the damage to our skin/yellowing nails/shortened life span, and all the other ailments that come with sparking up, but there's no denying that sometimes sucking down and expelling a plume of smoke is very sexy. The smoking ban is about ten days old now, and bar a few notable public offenders (Pete Doherty I'm talking about you) there's a noticeable shift towards non smoking. So I think it's be nice to look back on a few classic moments, just to remember what we're missing out on.
Number 1: Uma Thurman
Pulp Fiction was a ground breaking film, and no one in it more iconic than Uma lazily dragging on her cigarettes with a louche display of insouciance. She may have cleaned up a little since then, but the actress has always been a smoker, Marlboto Lights being her particular weakness. She gave up the evil weed in when she was pregnant, but whether she is still an ash free zone is unconfirmed. We can single handedly blame her for making smoking cool, and for creating a decade of bad bob inspired haircuts.
Number 2: Drew Barrymore
Drew's always had a reputation as something of a wild child, having entered rehab in her teens and having a wild series of on/off public love affairs. This girl started smoking aged a mere nine and a half, and her fag of choice, Marlboro Reds. There's no denying she looked cute, but as she's grown older she's moved towards the Hollywood life of early nights and wheat grass juice. Ah, well, we can't be young and carefree forever, but she still has her kooky side, and has been recently linked to Scrubs star Zach Braff. Well, who doesn't love a funnyman?
Number 3: Kate Moss
Supermodel, diva, earth mother, call her what you will, Kate is pretty much the poster child for Britain in the twentieth century, with her meteoric rise to fame as a gawky fifteen year old, to her now super status as one of the most photographed and gossiped about women in world. Hardly a great role model, she still manages to look good doing pretty much anything; face it, this is the woman who has made Pete Doherty desirable! We want to be her, we want to watch her, do we want to smoke like her? It's a widely known fact that models tend to smoke rather than eat, but as such a public figure Kate should really know better. At least she's not of the Britney style school of thought where she 'never smoked or had sex' till she overdosed on it. Kate is honest and forthright about her smoking, and her devil may care attitude is why we love her.(Well, that and her razor sharp cheek bones)
Number 4: Jennifer Aniston
Our favourite Friend is well known for her two packs of Merit a day. It's refreshing to find an American who will actually light up in public, rather than pretending it was a youthful folly the day they were photographed, and Jen is on record as a smoker, apparently smoking with the gorgeous Brad when they were still a couple.
Number 5: Rita Hayworth
She hails from an era where smoking was socially acceptable, we're talking ashtrays on planes, trains and automobiles, and as such the retro glamour she holds is unsullied. Plus, all pictures were black and white, and we all know age spots and wrinkles show up less in monochrome. The renown love goddess looks seriously stylish with her cigarette holder and is smoking chic at its most glamorous.
Truly, we have reached an end of an era, but while smoking continues to be prevalent in the movies, this is one bad habit that will never truly go away; but in the mean time we have a cleaner Britain to look forward too, and that can't be a bad thing, surely?

The dashing Jude Law and Norah Jones put in an appeareance in the French sunshine to promote their new film, 'My Blueberry Nights', at the Cannes Film Festival. Norah plays a jilted New Yorker who strikes up a friendship with a late night cafe owner - the delectable Jude, who dishes out dougnuts and syrup with a friendly hand. Norah looks lovely in her floral maxi dress and Jude is as style-conscious as ever, teaming jeans with a fitted waistcoast. In the movie they find love togrther, could this be a case where a movie mimics reality? We'll just have to wait and see the on screen chemistry before coming to any conclusions...

Keira Knightley's never made much of an impression on me, which probably depresses her no end. After all, while I may loathe and despise all celebutards, at least I'm thinking about them. As for Keira, she's such a gossip non-entity that I had to double-check to see if we even had a category for her.
Either way, Keira's bored of fame and wants to slip nicely back into obscurity thank you very much. (Shouldn't be too hard, love.) But she doesn't want to do it right now, presumably because she's happy to milk the seven-figure paycheques and freebies for as long as possible. I would be. But then, if I was contemplating giving up my life of stardom and slipping into life as a Home Counties hostess somewhere in Surbiton, I wouldn't put out a press release about it. Or tell Elle, which is what she did.
"I couldn't have kids in the situation I'm in now. But I could just do something else. That's probably what's going to happen. I'm just not so hungry any more. I made a decision very recently that I wanted a life instead."
Good on you, love! Now how's about some chips?

And now that we've been so nice about Drew, fabulously amazing woman that she is, normal service can resume, courtesy of a certain Kate Beckinsale, who was quoted by Britain's Daily Mail tabloid as saying:
“I believe anorexia, alcoholism and drug abuse in teens are more about what is happening in the home than a problem with images in the media. It is the nice girl’s way of becoming a crack whore.”
Ahem. So speaks a former anorexic.
Some people never learn, do they? I have no idea if this foot in mouth outbreak is a mistake Ms. Beckinsale (or should that be Mrs. Whatever-the-last-name-was-on-that-tacky-honeymoon-bikini-applique?) has made before, but you'd think she'd have noted the furore when Gisele made similar remarks about families being to blame for eating disorders, wouldn't you?
Sometimes we like to be happy, especially on days when we learn that all has gone to shit for our nearest and dearest. I could use otters to cheer myself up, but I found myself buoyed by the news that uberbabe and generally fabulous woman Drew Barrymore has topped People magazine's 100 sexiest list.
Go Drew! In your honour, here's a bunch of pics of you being utterly stunning.
