Gwen Stefani's Rock baby
Gwen Stefani has given birth to her second son, Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale.
The 'Sweet Escape' singer and rocker husband Gavin Rossdale welcomed new son, Zuma Nesta Rock, into the world yesterday (21.08.08) at Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center at 12.45pm. He weighed a healthy 8lb 6oz.
Gwen and Gavin - who have another son, Kingston, two - announced the news in a statement, saying: "Kingston, Gwen and Gavin Rossdale welcomed the newest member of their family. Mother, baby and family are all happy and healthy."
Gwen - who is one of four children - has previously spoken about her desire to have a big family.
Before revealing her pregnancy, the 38-year-old said earlier this year: "I'm in a race to have another."
Gavin - who Gwen praised as "super into being a dad" - recently revealed he intends to help Gwen as much as possible with the new arrival.
The 42-year-old musician said: "Whatever I can do to help, I'll do, but the guys get off light. We get to have the fun, then nip off, and the girls have to carry the physical burden of making a human, which is phenomenal."
As well as Zuma and Kingston, Gavin is also father to 19-year-old model Daisy Lowe, whose mother is British singer Pearl Lowe.

Hollywood's 'coolest' kids revealed
Hollywood's coolest kid? I kid you not. American magazine In Touch Weekly has ranked celebrity spawn and decided upon who is the 'coolest'. I have to confess, I'm a bit baffled by the notion of being deemed 'cool' when still not potty-trained. How could they have calculated such a thing? Did they ask take a poll in the playground and ask which kid has the best trainers and the most Panini football stickers? I don't think so. It's probably more an extension of their parents, a dash of designer togs and how much a photo shoot with OK! magazine is worth, but nevermind. Everyone likes to be thought of as cool, and so onto those impressive tots…
In at number five is Ava Phillippe – the daughter of Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan. The number four spot is taken by our very own Brooklyn Beckham – edging out his brothers Cruz and Romeo to make the coveted list. Helene 'Leni' Klum, the offspring of supermodel Heidi Klum and Formula One boss Flavio Briatore is in at number three and at number two, narrowly missing out on the top spot is Suri Cruise (pictured). I had thought that the Scientology sprog looked a little like a slanty-eyed alien, but what do I know? And the one kid that all these famous faces look up to – click over for the number one coolest celebrity kid.
And the winner is (drum roll please) – Kingston Rossdale. With rock hunk Gavin Rossdale and the peroxide diva Gwen Stefani as your parents, 21-month-old Kingston has hit the genetic jackpot. The kid is often seen decked out in boho-trendy garb and has been described by his proud mother as "a chilled-out little guy". Keep up the good work Kingston, you'll have competition for the top spot soon with a sibling on the way.

The Top Five Fashionistas of 2007
We all have our own personal style icons, from Katherine Hepburn to Nicole Richie, there is always a look that someone can take inspiration from. Here I am going to count down my five favourite fashion moments from 2007, from my five favourite fashionistas of the year.
Number one: Dita Von Teese
Although she
makes her living by taking her clothes off, no-one can deny that Dita shines on
the red carpet. She always manages to look classic and elegant with that
slightly gothic edge. On November 15th when she attended the fashion
industry’s battle against HIV/AIDS at the ‘7th on Sale’ gala, she
looked incredible in this black and gold Marchesa evening gown.
Number
Two: Gwen Stefani
From her time fronting the
ska-fused No Doubt to her Alice in Wonderland themed solo debut, Gwen has
always got people talking about her fashion choices. Over the last few years she
really has come into her own as a style icon. My favourite fashion moment from
her this year was on September 5th when showcasing her Spring 2008
L.A.M.B range. She accessorized her teeny tiny houndstooth
dress, from the range, with the perfect accessory, her son Kingston held firmly
by her side.
Number
Three: Victoria Beckham
Mrs Beckham has had many ‘That Dress’ moments. This year was no
exception. My favourite, and the look that has spawned countless copycats, was
when she stole the show as David signed up at the LA Galaxy football club on
July 13th. Wearing a pink ‘Moon’ dress by Roland Mouret, only seen
on the catwalk days before, with a Pink Birkin handbag, and her blonde Pob, she
takes a nod at the traditional LA look, without going that step too far into
Barbie territory.
Number
Four: Lily Allen
When she started her career, Lily Allen brought a whole new meaning to
chav-chic. With her vintage ball-gowns matched with Nike trainers and gold
doorknocker earrings, she was certainly difficult to ignore. This year she has
still been seen out and about in fabulous ball-gowns, but her taste has become
more refined, perhaps because she is one of Largerfeld’s newest muses. Having
lost weight after a health scare in the autumn, she looks elegant and poised in
this Chanel dress that she wore to the pre-view of the Chanel Autumn/Winter 2008
collection in London.
Number
Five: Katie Holmes
Although Katie Holmes has been criticized by many who feel that she is
dressing at least twenty years older than her age, there is no denying that she
completely outshone Tom Cruise at the recent Bambi Awards in Dusseldorf.
Showing off a new fringe and bob while wearing a Monique
Lhuillier outfit, she looked every inch the glamorous film star wife.
1st Runner Up: Jennifer Lopez
After months of is she/isn’t she J.Lo finally confirmed her pregnancy on the last night of her tour. While her Cavalli designed stage outfits were meant to disguise the bump, the Grecian gown she wore to the Conde Nast Media Groups 2007 Movies Rock at the Kodak Theatre on December 2nd made her look radiant without being over the top, Christina Aguilera take note.
2nd Runner Up: Keira Knightley
It has to be Keira in the green dress she wore in Atonement. Although not strictly a fashion moment as it was confined to celluloid, there is no denying the fashion world sat up and took note of this 1940s wonder, with countless fashion spreads on how to perfect this look, many featuring a version of that dress.

Gwen Stefani advertises for HP, I predict a trend
Everybody loves L.A.M.B designer Gwen Stefani. She always looks great,
even when she is lazing around in her house as seen in the latest ad by
HP. In the advert she is wearing a white wife beater with 'Kingston'
(her son's name) written across it. I predict that other celebrities
will be donning the same style quicker than you can get your hands on
t-shirt printing paper. Kate Moss with "Lila", Katie Holmes with "Suri"
and SJP with the slightly less unique "James". This is a trend that is
sure to cause problems for celebrities with multiple children. How will
Angelina pick her favourite? I think printed t-shirts might be the new
tattoos.

In the news: Lily Allen likes Ed Simons and Mariah Carey has a breast tape assistant
-Charlotte Church's little bundle of joy now has a name, Ruby Megan Henson. Aaah. She's bucked the celeb trend of choosing unfeasibly 'hip' names (Remember Apple, people?) and has gone for a sweet classic. [Sky Showbiz ]
-Lily Allen is getting some chemical loving, by chemical brothers star Ed Simons! A source said: “They are seeing more and more of each other and having a lot of fun. They have a lot in common. [The Sun ]
-Gwen Stefani reveals she wasn't always the rock chick she is now, preferring the Sound of Music to Top of the Pops in her youth. "I think I've been able to fool a lot of people into thinking I'm pretty hip, but in reality I'm just a big dork," laughs Gwen. "I'll never change. I was never a cheerleader in school, I never had lots of friends. I was just a big nerd really." [Belfast T ]
-Mariah Carey does have impressive assets, and so it's understandable that she needs people to keep them under control, and her entourage includes a breast tape assistant amongst the bodyguards and make up artists. The special lady is only concerned about Mariah's boob cleavage, what a job, eh? [Entertainment Wise ]

The Top 5 Celebrity Yummy Mummy’s: We wish they were ours
Celebrity mum's have been under fire for bad behaviour, drunken shenanigans, indeed we at Star Trip even have our top five worst mums so in relation to this, I thought it's only fair to show you the mothers who make us proud, and who I'd willingly petition for adoption.
Number 1: Angelina Jolie
With her ‘rainbow family’ always close behind her, it’s hard not to have Ms. Jolie at the top of the list. Having adopted 3 children and had one biological child with fiance Brad Pitt, Jolie is still planning to expand her family further, with more biological and adopted children coming soon. Her devotion to her family is hard to overlook- and so is the fact that Brad and Ange collectively donated $6.6million to charily last year. What a woman.
Number 2: Gwen Stefani
After telling the world she was pregnant by shouting “I want
you to shout so hard the baby hears it” during a concert in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, despite her press agent stating that recent baby
rumours were untrue, Gwen Stefani Gave birth to Kingston Rossdale. Since then,
numerous pictures have been printed with little Kingston on his mummy’s hip in
cute little outfits, visiting various celebrity events such as the NRJ Music
Awards in Cannes, with Gwen never failing to look amazing. Recent pics of Gwen and Kingston on the beach
show just what a yummy mummy Gwen is-how does she manage to look that good with
a fourteen-month-old little lad to look after?
Number 3: Katie Holmes
She’s Posh’s favourite pal, and we can certainly see why. Since baby Suri was born on 18th April 2006, she has barley been seen out of her mum’s arms. And we can see why: constantly smiling and giggling, baby Suri is one of the cutest things we’ve ever seen. One of Katie’s fellow Dawson’s Creek stars, Oliver Hudson, said of her, "She almost seems born for motherhood. She's a nurturer. She's got mother qualities a lot of girls her age don't have." Lucky Suri.
Number 4: Gwyneth Paltrow
When the pictures of Apple wearing little pink ear protectors, whilst balanced on her mummy’s hip at Live 8 came out, all the women in the nation breathed a collective “ahhhh”. As her child innocently sucked her thumb, Paltrow beamed at the camera’s, showing off her blatant happiness. When Gwyneth announced why her and hubby Chris Martin had chosen the name Moses for their second bundle of joy, the same noise was heard again. The name Moses was given in reference to the song Martin wrote Gwyneth after their secret weeding in California, which included lyrics “Like Moses has the power of the sea, so you've got power over me..." and refers to the first time the pair met. Could there be any more love in this family?!
Number 5: Liz Hurley
After seeing the pics of Liz and Damien at her recent marriage to Arun Nayar in March this year, we couldn’t help but put her up here. And with her own swim range and entrepreneurial skills, what was stopping us? She looks fantastic in all of the ad’s for her range, and clearly completely dotes on Damian. A true yummy mummy indeed.

Gwen Stefani wants you 'all over me'
'I want you all over me', is Gwen's catch phrase for her new perfume, giving one a slightly dirty impression to this fresh faced water based video, with lots of swimsuit shots and dripping hair for our pleasure. Oh yes.

Gwen Stefani is too indecent say students
As a lady, should one take pride in causing outrage for being indecent? Well, that is something for Gwen Stefani to mull over as news reaches us about a group of Malaysian students who are planning to boycott Gwen Stefani and stop her from performing her scheduled concerts in Kuala Lumpar because they say she is too 'indecent'.
The National Muslim Student Group have claimed the singer uses too much obscenity in her music and dresses inappropriately. They therefore want her to be banned from performing the proposed gigs. President of the group, Mohammad Hilmi Ramli, told Reuters: "Her video clips promoting the event are too obscene. We want the organizers to cancel the concert, failing which we will ask the authorities to intervene."
Tenner the gigs go ahead and Gwen is laughing her head off at the notion of toning her act down.

The Top Five Celebrity Perfumes: Smells like we'd buy it
We've all been aware of the bad celebrity scents that have us thinking bargain bin quicker than Jordan getting her tits out again, but every now and then come along some fragrances that make us think, yeah.. maybe. I'm not just talking about the exalted god that is Thierry Mugler's angel (my signature scent, so I'm a little biased) but offerings from celebs who seem to concentrate more on the content than the styling. Oh, and a pretty bottle doesn't hurt either.
Number 1: 'L' by Gwen Stefani
This funky rock chick cum style icon cum peroxide devil may care girl is an icon everywhere for her chilled out attitude, eclectic styling, and individuality; promoting personal uniqueness and confidence over everything, a far cry from the Paris Hilton, oops I forgot my underwear again generation. She's sassy, stylish and she won't take any shit and her perfume reflects that. It has top notes of sparkling green freshness, leafy water hyacinth, white freesia, fresh pear and violet leaves. The bottle has a lush design which hints at Gwen's own personality, as she was very involved in the production and manufacturing of her scent. Now we can smell like her all we need is her figure, eh?

Number 2: Live by Jennifer Lopez
Yes, I know what you're thinking; how did this booty shaking prima donna actually make it into the coveted Number 2 position? Surely this jigglesome singer should have been in with the bad smells (along with her vocal career) but in this case the Live perfume is actually surprisingly nice. the smell if=s fresh and fruity and reminded me of similar Escada perfumes which *sob* sadly don't exist anymore. It's a great fresh scent and makes me feel like eating strawberries and cream.. or perhaps just licking them off someone. It's not the muskiness you might associate with other JLO products, but this definitely gets the thumbs up.
Number 3: S2 by Shilpa Shetty
Yes dear, I'm sure you are a great actress out east, and I will commend you for your courage under pressure and stylish use of a sari. but how do the above attributed lead you to believe that you have the wherewithal to launch a scent? isn't it enough being Eastern ambassador and winning honorary degrees? Dammit, but this actually smells good, all earthy and musky with hints of eucalyptus and bergamot. can this woman do no wrong?? I'm not to impressed with the bottle design, but it's what's inside that counts and Shilpa does it again. You have to laugh at the name name though; S2 stands for S squared cos her initials are SS. Genius.
Number 4: Lovely by Sarah Jessica Parker
SJP can do no wrong by me, if it isn't fashion its' beauty, and she smells as diving as she looks. her fragrance is lovely (sorry) with notes of Lily of the Valley and jasmine and rose. A new scent is on the cards for September to tie in with her Bitten fashion range and one can only expect it to be of equal quality.
Number 5: Darling by Kylie Minogue
I should be so lucky, lucky, lucky, to be Kylie, as the lure of a pert Aussie bum, pixie face and sleek style are definitely attributes to desire and now we have this sugar sweet scent as well to crave. Thankfully it's easier to smell like her, than to be her, so those gold hotpants can go back into the cupboard for now. It has floral and fruit notes and hints of Jojoba to make it long lasting and fresh and the bottle is pink, pink I tell you.
If celebs arten't your thing don't be put off by buying their scents as when they get it right it really works and they have money enough behind them to makes iure the top ingredients are used. Smell you later!

Gwen Stefani is a Yummy Mummy
Our Holla back girl can do no wrong- it's not many Mum's who could get away with wearing a horizontal stripe dress within the first year post baby, but Gwen's lost the baby weight with ease, and has moved into motherhood with grace and pizazz.
She's taking to her new role with a certain amount of dry humour and wit, commenting, " I have to say people were more interested in me having a baby, than any record or anything I've ever done in my whole entire life. I was in the celebrity baby boom! That was weird. It's not like we called each other and said, ‘OK, we're going to have sex now and have a baby.’ It was almost embarrassing. ‘Oh my God, that person is having a baby now, too?" but still managing to look like a devoted mother and managing to spend most week nights with her 11 month old angel, also known as Kingston James McGregor.

Buy LA Celebrity Style Online
Our fabulous new Catwalk Queen writer, Amber, has unearthed a fab new online shop that shows you how to shop like the stars - the good ones, that is, so pop back in your box, Pammy Anderson. LA Star Style has picked up where 'slebs like Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, Eva Longoria and Gwen Stefani get their rags from and are flogging them to mere mortals like us, for pretty good prices, it must be said. So you can head on over from today, to buy Paris Hilton's red Voom dress pictured, Gwen's T-Shirt, Britney's Sweetees dress and a whole bunch more. As our CQ writer, Amber, pointed out, 'what you're buying here isn't the star's actual
cast-off clothes, by the way. That would just be icky - particularly in
the case of Britney Spears. The website are keen to stress, though,
that these aren't rip-offs in cheap fabrics: they're the actual clothes
seen on the stars'. Good enough for me!

Shiloh Jolie Pitt Meets Kingston Rossdale
Shiloh Jolie-Pitt and Kingston Rossdale are pretty much been betrothed by now, after their parents made a playdate at the beach in California recently. Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were joined by Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale at their house in Santa Barbara on the weekend. Reports have come out that the new mothers both sport matching baby slings, and the men went jet skiing with Maddox, Angelina and Brad's adopted son. Gwen Stefani Gives Birth To A Boy
'Tis the season to give birth, tra-la-la-la-laah. Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale are the latest celebs to join the fad, having given birth last Friday, via a caesarean section to a healthy boy, named Kingston James McGregor Rossdale. A source at the hospital claims Gwen arrived 'wearing her signature red
lipstick and looked very excited.' The couple are said to be 'in a state of euphoria' since Kingston's arrival, hopefully not due to over-consumption of laughing gas, often present at births. [Katherine Hannaford]

Gwen Stefani Breaks Finger, Not How You'd Imagine
Dirty minds. The 8-months pregnant Gwen Stefani was rushed to hospital recently following an accident with the sewing machine. She was reportedly sewing samples for her fashion label L.A.M.B, when the material got stuck, causing her to snap her finger in half. Err...Lamb? That's what sweat shops are for, over in Asia. Silly girl, lets hope she learns her lesson. [Katherine Hannaford]
