Prince Harry - the new pop idol?
Swooning ladies, screaming teens, people throwing their babies at him... that, apparently, is the Beatles- esque (or Battleship Potemkin-esque) reaction that gap-toothed squaddie Prince Harry gets now, wherever he goes. I should point out this is according to The Daily Mail. The Prince has been visiting Cardiff on his second full day of social engagements.12-year-old schoolgirl Hollie White burst into tears. "I was just so excited to see him... I want to see the Queen and Simon Cowell next," she sobbed, bafflingly.

Is it over for Prince William and Kate Middleton?
The royal romance could be on the rocks with new reports revealing that Prince William's relationship with Kate Middleton has seriously fizzled out. The couple, who split last year only to reunite three months later, have barely seen each other since Christmas and friends are speculating as to how much longer the saga can limp on for. A family friend admits to 'The Sunday Mirror' that "William has been distancing himself from Kate for a while."
"He loves Kate dearly," adds the source, "and doesn't want to hurt her. They are in touch but their lives are pulling in different directions. There's a feeling that things have simply run their course." Wills missed Kate's birthday bash a fortnight ago, though he has been working hard (don't all the royals?) at his RAF training. William's cousin Peter Philips is marrying in the autumn and if Kate fails to make an appearance at this bash, then it truly could be the end.

Kate Middleton leaves fashion job at Jigsaw
Prince William's girlfriend Kate Middleton, has quit her job as accessories buyer for Jigsaw amid rumours that the couple are nearing an engagement. According to the Daily Mail,
Kate told friends that she was leaving because she wanted "some time to
herself," but others are speculating that it's down to her relationship
with William.
The 25-year-old took on the job in November last year, which was especially created for her by Jigsaw's owners, John and Belle Robinson, to accommodate her royal commitments. "Kate is a nice enough girl but she was never what you might call committed to the job," said a fellow staff member. "She never worked full-time and appeared to take an inordinate amount of time off to go jetting round the world with her boyfriend." So... no parting gift then...

Kate Middleton goes a hunting

There's nothing like inviting you on/off piece of posh totty to spend a day on the range of your stately home (Balmoral) with your potential father in law to be. I wonder what Prince Charles is thinking encouraging Kate to roll on the ground and wriggle around while he teaches her how to shoot his load Bambi a deer. I don't know how PR savvy Kate managed to be talked into it wither as no amount of Mahiki cocktail spilling antics can balance out the negative side of shooting Bambi's mum in cold blood. Unsurprisingly the protesters are out in force, claiming Wills has introduced Kate to "a barbaric and unacceptable pastime”. Barry Hugill, of the
league, said: “I don’t think the Royal Family does itself any good
whatsoever by doing this. Charles and his son have an appalling record of
slaughtering animals for fun.”

It's not like Harry is selling out, and he certainly doesn't need the money (remember the millions he'll receive when he turns 25 ) but maybe he feels like changing his image? Certainly this cover is a little racier than the army uniform he's been pictured in and thankfully there's no Fearne Cotton to ruin it for us. There's nothing wromng with a little gentle ogling, but it does seem inappropriate to go for a full on grope, particularly seeing the whole of the 9 regiment of the Army Air Force was watching. In his defence, her cheeky smile is definitely a proposition, and her youthful good looks contrasted to his whitening hair create an interesting contrast of the Hugh Hefner/Playboy Bunny variety, but Anglicized obviously, with a little less sunshine. Pretty as princes

Yea, maybe other people are focusing on the Diana concert in terms of the acts (I've heard they were bad), the stadium (overcrowded) or the after parties (expensive booze) but what I'm really interested in was the boys. It's no surprise then that the Arabic/Hebrew translation of my name means Princess and as such I can't help wondering if one day my princes will come.. There's nothing wrong with being a little greedy now is there, and there are two to choose from. In the words of Thin Lizzy, 'The Boys are back in town' and don't they do it well? They manage to look solemn and controlled during the concert (well Wills did, Harry was busy snogging the face off Chelsy) and then they get down and 'diggit' later with Kanye west and P.Diddy.
See after the jump for more pics.
Having a princely time they share a glass of pinot chardonnay champagne ice water with rap stars Kanye and P.Diddy and proceed to dance their dainty lil socks off. The rap royalty and the future kings.. I see a song forming.

John Travolta says Princess Diana saved his career
I wouldn't accuse John of jumping on the old Diana bandwagon to boost newspaper sales, or make bored journos want to interview him; but as he is trying to cash in on fame dating back to 1985 I'm afraid that's how it appears. Yes, back in 1985 John managed to dance with the delectable Diana, an event which he says thrust him into stardom.
"Suddenly, I was the only thing that mattered in America to Princess Diana and I was reborn. I was like, 'Wow! I matter to someone again.' I was on the cover of every newspaper and magazine in the world and someone as significant as Princess Diana reminded everyone of me".
Thanks for sharing that with us love. Really topical.

Happy Birthday Prince William! Now have some cash..
When most people turn 25 they have a bit of a bash, meet a few friends, get £250,000 a year.. Well perhaps not the last one. yes, now Wills has reached a quarter of a century he is entitled to part of Diana's fortune. Prince Harry will receive the same amount on his 25th. No news yet on how William will spend his new found wealth, but as being 25 means he is now free to marry without the Queens permission; could there be a shotgun Vegas wedding in the works? It's not that likely, but when you are young, rich and rather good looking you can't rule anything out.

Prince Harry.. or Prince Gary?

Now there's nothing wrong with using a nom de plume from time, to time, I myself like to go by Honey Stief in my spare time (it's a long story) but most people don't effect an alias when they are one of the most photographed gingers men on the planet. And certainly not if they are trying to cheat on their girlfriend.. Prince Harry was partying in the Calgary and bumped into a certain buxom blond, called Cherie Cymbalisty, a wannabe Playboy model and dancer. They danced and frolicked as twenty somethings are wont to do, with Harry blushingly asking her to call him 'Gary'. They laughed, they drank, and then she sold her stories to the papers. Well, that didn't really come as a shock now did it? While classy girls like Kate Middleton don't comment on their princely love affairs, waitresses who work in a bar called 'Cowboys' can't really be counted on for discreteness. What will Chelsy say? I'm not sure 'Gary did it' will go down to well with his long term girlfriend.

Kate Middleton chooses vibrators over men
Kate is a girl after our own hearts. Rather than fretting about her messy public break up with the lovely Prince William she goes out and drinks her sorrows away. It seems she is putting men on the back burner for a while as when she attended the Rabbit Fever party, she was seen happily looking at the infamous rabbit vibe, and wearing bunny ears all night long.
No longer do women need to sit home bewailing their lack of a man,now sisters can do it for themselve; and with long life batteries we're always guaranteed a good time. Hear hear the single revolution; with Kate spearheading it life has never been better.

Princess Diana is still making headlines
2020 complaints have been received by Channel 4 after they aired a documentary on Diana’s death. Apparently people objected to the gruesome scenes shown; but was it really that bad? Opinion differs, with some thinking that any reference to this national tragedy is still a sensitive subject, whilst others wish to spare the princes feelings on this matter. Either way, the media circus still exists, and one can’t help thinking Channel 4 are exploiting the lowest common denominator; that of the royalty obsessed public.
So they’re giving us what we want, you may cry. But can we really justify this gleeful televised documentary, which settles no questions and just panders to speculation and conspiracy theories. Was anyone of import actually interviewed; do we have coroner reports and witness statements? And do we need them? What is any of this anyhow? People die, we move on, such is the eponymous circle of life; and raking in money from tragedies is not a nice way to live. Typically, the programme didn’t actually win the ratings battle, as it was beaten by the Apprentice on BBC1. It just goes to show that Brits have more moral fibre than expected. Or maybe we’re just hot for Sir Sugar..

Princely Pimms
We all like a tipple now and then, especially after a hard week at work; but most of us tend to limit our liquor consumption to a few bottles of chardonnay. Prince William though likes to kick back with a trolley full of Pimms, clearing supermarket shelves in Asda of their entire stock and spending £850, on a car full of booze.
Hopefully he will not be imbibing it on his own, as he returned to Bovington Army camp to share it with his friends. It’s encouraging to think that our future king knows how to kick back with a few, and far be it from us to consider Pimms a slightly girly option. Hey, it has been a hard week for the boy, what with Channel 4 airing that documentary about his mother, and his ex making tabloid news carousing with bearded men.
Give the boy a break; it's the weekend, and for all his prestige he's still a kid. And what do us 20th century kids do when the going gets tough? A few drinks; tis only natural.

Prince Harry cheating on Chelsy?
Apparently Prince Harry's reputation as the party prince may be as entrenched in his love of women as it is in his love of booze. While he and Chelsy Davy have been an item for some time now, the blonde is based in Africa, and according to the News of the World Harry has been taking advantage of the distance to get closer to one of his favourite drinking buddies, Natalie Pinkham.
The two have been linked in the past, with rumours that the two had been seen kissing. Before meeting Chelsy, Harry allegedly had a huge crush on Natalie, and "bombarded" her with emails and text messages.
The two had spent the night canoodling on the dance floor of Boujis, with Harry caressing the beauty whose boobs he once famously groped on another wild night out in London nearly four years ago.
In the club Harry and Natalie - who he describes as one of his favourite drinking buddies -- knocked back vodka and Red Bull.
The two were surrounded by royal protection officers at a private corner table. Harry's pal and former royal aide Mark Dyer was also there.
Harry and Natalie occasionally dashed out onto the tightly packed floor where they danced close together with the Prince caressing the sexy brunette's curves.
A fellow reveller said: "Harry was obviously very drunk. He and Natalie spent most of the night huddled together at a corner table beside the dance floor where Harry's bodyguards did their best to hide them both from view.
"They ordered full-size bottles of vodka and cans of Red Bull and mixed their own drinks at the table. It was clearly a big night out for both of them. Harry kept putting his arm around her.
"At times it even looked like he was kissing her neck -- although it was difficult to see. They were certainly being very touchy-feely with each other."

The Queen loves Girl Power
Yesterday the Queen held a "no boys allowed" party for the country's top businesswomen. Camilla was there, along with controversial business owners such as Sharon Osbourne and Jacqueline Gold from Ann Summers. Sharon said she spent most of her time talking to Camilla: "I chatted to her about her doggies. I was talking
about when you have a lot of little dogs and they play very rough. It
affects their joints. I told the Queen I have 16 dogs."
The Queen and Jacqueline Gold even seemed to get along quite well, as Jacqueline said, "The Queen said, ‘Where are you from?’ She looked at my badge and said, ‘Oh, Ann Summers!’ The twinkle in her eye meant it was obvious she knew who I was." Twinkle? I just hope it was a tear of shame, rather than a reminiscent twinkle.

Donning fishnets and what is hopefully a riding crop, Fergie discusses her former relationship with Princess Diana, and her lack of contact with Prince Harry and William. The Duchess also reveals that she goes clubbing with her daughters because they invite her, saying, "No, we want you to come because you're hip-hop, crazy, mad!" Who would have thought?

Celebrities like to blog, too
It's painful enough having to hear most celebrities be interviewed and speak without a script. However, it's recently gotten a whole lot worse, as many celebrities have start blogging. The Sun reports today that not only does Prince Harry have a Facebook account, but air heads celebrities like Danielle Lloyd and Victoria Beckham have even been plugging away online, as well. Danielle has a Myspace where she recently "apologized" for her BB behavior, and share her other deep thoughts on how she gets excited when"everyone including Paris Hilton" comments on her dresses.
Victoria Beckham's blog has a lot of depth and insight into her life. For example, Victoria wrote:
"I'm still finding my way around as LA is a big place I'm trying to work out how to get from Santa Monica to Malibu, and from Brentwood to Bel Air... But we'll get there. The sooner the better - the kids want to know the quickest way to Disneyland!"
She's got it rough. Let's all just cross our fingers that Lindsay Lohan doesn't start a blog...or David Beckham for that matter.

Kate Middleton gets police protection
I'm starting to think the Metro is secretly run by hundreds of women who are just desperate to get married. Now, I see where they're going with this story, but I still think everyone needs to calm down with their speculations that Kate Middleton and Prince William are engaged. They could be. They might be. They may never. But, we just don't know. Kate was pictured at about 3am this morning leaving Boujis with Prince William with two police vans as their escorts.
Strange? Not really. He's bloody royalty. However, what is strange is Kate suddenly has police officers standing guard at her Chelsea home. Considering she is of no royal title, she is not entitled to this kind of protection. However, the Metro points out that if she were engaged to the Prince, she would be eligible for the police protection. Maybe the police are doing a favor to the Prince? Or should we all prepare for an engagement announcement, as Kate's 25 birthday is next Tuesday? Hmmmm....

Spend your weekend with the Stars
It's been a long week, folks. I know we're all tired, hungover, or just plain sick of shopping and spreading Holiday cheer. (Bah-hum-bug.) But do you know what would make all of us feel better? Hanging out with celebs and royalty this weekend, that's what!
Today, if you're in Sandhurst, Berkshire, you can catch the Sovereign Parade with Prince William and The Queen. Prince Phillip will be there as well, but most importantly Wills will be in his military uniform! Hello photo opportunity!
Saturday is the X Factor III Finale at Wembley. Simon Cowell, Sharon Osbourne, and Louis Walsh will be casting their final votes for contestants Leona Lewis and Raymond Quinn. Girls, hold on to your knickers, because it's rumored Take That might make an appearance to give some last minute pimping of their album coaching for the contestants. Yippee.
If you're not busy praying and roasting on Sunday, be a complete stalker and stop by Matt Lucas and Kevin McGee's wedding in Whitehall, London. Important folks such as Sir Elton John, Kate Moss and Charlotte Church are said to be guests. Bring your best paparazzi lens and enjoy the celebration and media frenzy.
And on a personal note, if anyone happens to attend the Sovereign Parade, I was serious about those pictures of Prince William. Send them my way. Ya know, for um, journalistic reasons.

Spend your weekend with the Stars
Between office Christmas parties, and mandatory Holiday festivities, why not add some fun to your weekend? There's lots of, um, interesting Celebrity functions going on that you can take part in! If you're in Ashover today, Prince Charles and Camilla will be taking a tour of the city and turning on the Christmas lights! Who wouldn't want to schmooze with the best looking couple in Britain?
On Saturday, drop by The Astoria and take the wonderful opportunity to see Jordan and Peter Andre lip-synching live! Or, if you don't feel like giving yourself a headache, you could always go into London's Selfridges and see Gordan Ramsey or Shayne Ward at WH Smith Newcastle Greenhead!
And lastly, for our New York readers, on Sunday take the chance to see Renee Zellweger and -sigh- Ewan McGregor at the premiere of Miss.Potter!
Doesn't rubbin' elbows with celebrities and Royals sound much better than elbowing people in shopping malls this weekend?

Top Ten Stories
Turns out that the photos of Prince Harry having a grope were actually taken several years ago. Naughty Sun, bit desperate for a front-page story, there?
Kate Hudson and Chris Robinson's separation seems to be due to a young blonde thang named Owen Wilson, aka, The Butterscotch Stallion.
Tom Cruise's heroics the other day may well have been fake, as a list of all his supposed charitable efforts are revealed, leading one to wonder whether he is indeed a superhero, or a compulsive liar as we always believed.
Paul McCartney has banned Heather Mills from his house, good thing too, as he doesn't want that sort hanging 'round wearing hoodies, causing trouble.
Yet more Scientology-brainwash stories, this time Katie Holmes is described as 'dead in the eyes'.
Not content with pilfering clothes and jewellery, Winona Ryder is trying to steal Keanu Reeves's heart instead.
Cover your eyes and ears, kids, as Ace Ventura 3 is coming to a cinema near you. Without Jim Carrey, which is probably a good thing in my opinion.

Thank the Lord, Madonna has given up acting permanently!
Justin Hawkins from the Darkness has checked into rehab at The Priory, presumably he turned to drugs and booze over his failed career.

Has Prince Harry Cheated On His Girlfriend?
You heard right. On a recent night out in London, Prince Harry reportedly had a secret little snog with Natalie Pinkham, a former crush. Harry has a South African girlfriend, Chelsy, who a friend claimed 'will be absolutely furious.' He apparently fell in love with Natalie, a former ITV and Sky Sports presenter, before he gave Chelsy a bit of the old todger two years ago, bombarding her with flirty text messages and emails, and even buying a sexy thong for her. When asked whether this was true or not, a spokesperson for Harry said 'What he does in his private time is private.' Sounds like the truth if ever I heard it! [Katherine Hannaford]

Queen's Guards take a leaf out of 50 Cent's book
Sounds like the Queen's Guards have been mucking about to celebrate Liz's 80th birthday. The Sun has a story on the busby-clad battalion filming a spoof video where they boogie to 50 Cent's 'In Da Club' (lyrics: "It's your birthday, we gon' party"). Good work fellas! The Sun claims to have the video available to watch online, but I can't get it to work - probably because I'm using a Mac. Damn them...
Hopefully there's a follow-up in the works featuring Fiddy's 'Rotten Apple' (lyrics: "My love live ain't change, the shorties still hug me / Bullet wound in my face, and bitches still love me"). Then again, maybe not. [Stuart Dredge]
