Watch the Sex and the City trailer!

What kind of celebrity blog would we be if we didn't indulge your Sex and the City obsession just a tiny bit in the weeks before the 'big release' (as Samantha would no doubt call it)? Here it is, four years on... Yes - there are still wonderful clothes, shoes and hair. Yes - handsome boys and expensive locations. Yes - helicopter shots of the twinkling night time lights of New York City. Yes, yes, YES!! Sex and the City, old friend - dahling! - where have you been?

What's wrong with Paula Abdul?

She's gone all weird and confused on American Idol... and not just Sharon Osbourne weird - we're talking proper, fully-paid-up member of the crazy horse society weird. We're talking X Files weird, here. We're talking "if you were my friend I'd call you a doctor" weird. (You're a doctor, aha!) Anyway, she denies she was drunk, and reckons her confusion is all down to a last-minute reschedule. But do you buy it? Are we being unduly harsh? Have a look and judge for yourself...

Girls Aloud chow down for new KitKat advert

Yesterday we told you how Sarah Harding is busy planning a stroll up the aisle, but before the blonde pop star says "I do" she's busy having a break. Not from her bloke, DJ Tom Crane or from those other miming minxes that make up Girls Aloud. No, from the whole showbiz scene as evidenced by this new KitKat commercial.

In this new advert for the choccie company, the Girls Aloud stars are exiting a glitzy bash and hastily making their way into their car. But what's this I spy? Sarah, rather than following her band mates away from the paparazzi, flops herself down on the red carpet and munches on a KitKat. As you do.

Star Trip wonders how Sarah wangled it so that she assumed centre stage for this ad (do KitKat not like Nicola, Kimberly, Cheryl and Nadine?) and who on earth came up with the concept? Of all the ways to depict a glamourous celeb enjoying a little down time, publicly scoffing a calorie-laden snack isn’t the first scenario that springs to mind.

And considering the girl's raunchy image, it all seems a bit tame. They should have gotten Wino to do it. Then we really would have seen something special.

Jimmy Kimmel's revenge on Sarah Silverman for "f***ing Matt Damon"

To us in the UK, the name Jimmy Kimmel doesn't mean much. To catch up - the guy is a late night chat show host in the US and the boyfriend of the fantastic comedienne Sarah Silverman. To celebrate their five-year anniversary, Silverman made the hilarious music video I'm F***ing Matt Damon, where she revealed to Kimmel in a duet with People's sexiest man that they were doing it "on the bed, on the floor, on a towel by the door."

Now, Jimmy has decided to have his revenge and has followed up Sarah's naughty ditty with one of his own, in which he reveals that he is "f***ing Ben Affleck". The music clip features a host of top showbiz stars eager to become YouTube heroes including the likes of Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz and Harrison Ford. The eagle-eyed among you will spot loads of familiar faces throughout, but for me the highlight is Ben Affleck in his spangly, skin-tight top. Enjoy!

Gladiators Flashback: The celeb specials

With Gladiators soon to be back on our screen I though I'd take a look at some of the classic moments. here's a flashback to when Steve Redgrave won it in a celeb special in 1996. Is it sad that I remember that? Oh god I'm old...

It's Friday afternoon and with the weekend hours away I thought you'd like a classic comedy clip rather than an update into Paris's latest haircut. Watch Meatloaf cringe as he's approached by the genius that is Avid, the ginger minger.

Rosie O'Donnell: Most annoying celeb ever?

Our friends over at Dollymix  brought to our attention that in a recent poll done by Parade, apparently America thinks that Rosie O'Donnell is the most annoying celebrity of 2007. Girlfriend even beat out Britney Spears! Rosie responded to the poll results by saying, "I, apparently, am the most annoying celebrity, according to Parade magazine. Frankly, most celebrities are annoying. So, I agree, celebrities are annoying. The fact that I am one is annoying, and I suppose I am the most annoying, but, whatever."

But if that wasn't enough, Rosie went and made not one, but two annoying videos that are apparently her way of "making light" of the annoying situation. Rosie, this is why you're annoying, and for the most part, extremely not funny.

Uma Thurman gets a Blowjob from Virgin

I know this advert has been around for a while but up till last week I'd never experienced it on a cinema screen and seeing a gigantic Uma writhe and pout in a gigantic blast of air is somehow more compelling than seeing it on your TV. It doesn't' make me want to get Virgin though, it just makes me want to redefine Uma's Wikipedia entry as being the 'definition of wind swept hair'. Hey, I amuse myself OK?

Hilary Duff is caught miming in concert

Poor little Hilary. It's one thing to have everyone assume you don't write your own songs/sing your own tracks/are a natural blonde, but it's mega embarrassing to be totally caught out whilst performing. Yep, our favourite Duffer was a victim of the lip synching curse, where due to an 'electrical fault' the music cuts out and Hilary is left looking rather sheepish. Oh well, it keeps us entertained.

The latest SATC movie trailer.. and this one works!

Surely I can't be the only girl ready to wet herself with excitement at the prospect of the Sex and the City movie due in May, or as the trailer aptly says, I'm pretty Carried away. Oh puns, yes they do make the world go round. Dubious references aside I am very excited, and all my male friends shudder at the prospect of 2 hours of this fashion full movie. Boyfriends be warned- you will have to go see this or face the consequences!

The Beyonce experience

The beautiful booty shaker is best known for her wild hair, thrusting and grinding and Destiny's child grievances, but did you know she also has enough fans to edit a tribute video to her lesser known gurnings. It's absolutely hilarious and will help keep those hangovers at bay as you watch her pout and wiggle her way through the ten types of Beyonce like living.

Ashlee Simpson's new song is actually kinda good

OK, I'm probably not Ashlee's biggest fan, other than my rather strange obsession with the size if her nose, but even I was impressed with this chirpy poppy song she's just released. The music video is very in your face, and I do love the use of the Rubik's cube  in the set design. the only question left is do you prefer her as a brunette or a blonde??

Top Five Christmas songs.. as sung to you by celebs

Christmas is in the air, with the scent of tinsel, chestnuts and debt filling the world, and naturally those money hungry celebs feel it's only appropriate to add to the festive misery cheer by creating a tie in song/cover. There's nothing like the inane warblings of vacuous overpaid empty headed skeletons to really make you feel in the festive spirit, so we bring you the best (or the worst, it really depends on your opinion) of Christmas celeb covers around. And don't worry, I'm sure there will be at least two new ones this year.

Number One: Girls Aloud- I wish it could be Christmas every day

Really? Not if we have to listen to this sickly sweet tripe. I suppose thy ain't 'jumping for love' at least, so that's something, but I still think they could of done better than that badly synchronized routine.

Number 2: Beyonce- 8 days of Christmas

Now I may not be the biggest Beyonce fan (other than Bootylicious, that was amazing) but if this lovely lady was going to be with me for 8 days of Christmas I think I'd be pretty happy- and be more than willing to kit her out in diamond studded belly button rings.

Number 3: Britney Spears- My only wish this year

When Britters sand this her wishes probably included number ones, Justin getting a haircut and the death of Paris Hilton. Nowadays her wishlist is a whole lot more adult, including, 'custody of kids', a permanent ban on pics of her coochie, and a wish that she could have her teen boy back again without surgery. Oh well, she had a good run.

Number 4:Christina Aguilera-Christmas Crooner

My, did lil 'Xtina use to be sweet looking. She coulda rivalled Britney for virgin stakes back in the day and here she is crooning gently to us about Xmas. Bless you Santa, we want her under our tree!

Number 5: Mariah Carey- All I want for Xmas is you

No Mariah that's not true. You may want, but we certainly don't so the less we see of your oblong mug and cheese grater voice the better.

Victoria Beckham steals the show on Ugly Betty

Oh Victoria. She may not be to every-one's taste but the Yanks can't get enough of her cut glass accent, skinny frame and stylized bob. You have to give credit where it's due though, as she does steal the show in TV sitcom land Ugly Betty, modelling a bridesmaids dress better than the bride herself!

Behold the mini Britney

Possibly one of the most disturbing vids I've seen in a a while, and this is coming from a girl who doesn't blanch at Fear Factor and can watch Hostel without wincing. The 'mini Britney' sulks and pouts her way through Toxic, including the costume changes, but somehow makes me feel like vomiting up my breakfast. Enjoy.

Shakira: Whatever honey

I'm sorry, this week is starting to look like the Shakira appreciation society but never fear, this latest vid truly exemplifies hers style, with a fab parody of 'Wherever, Whenever'. A similar blonde styled singer pouts and weaves through lyrics like, 'Doesn't matter what I sing, cos my breasts aren't anything..' etc. Genius.

Have a great Christmas with Janice Dickinson

Now it's probably fair to say that I'm not Janice's biggest fan, having used the words 'money grubbing rabid dog faced @**##* to describe her, but now I've seen this clip I'm feeling a little more friendly. OK, she may still be on 'I'm a  D-Lister, please notice me', but she's also able to poke fun at her own botoxed image, and that's always a good start. She sings the  Twelve Days of Christmas here accompanied by half naked men, faux modeling agencies and  a penchant for mini skirts and I can't help being charmed.

With the Order of the Phoenix just released on DVD, it's no wonder the Harry Potter hysteria is moving up a notch, and so I thought I'd give you a little laugh with this pimped up Harry rap. I love the part where it mocks Daniel Radcliffe's Equus experience, and the outfits are super sexy.. you may recognize some of them from the Shiny girls Hallowen video! Enjoy.

I'm a celery, get me out of here!!

Some of us I'm sure have been glued to the antics of Ms Atkinson and Hopkins strolling through the jungle protected by nothing more than flimsy strips of fabric, but others may have found the whole shebang a little bit cringe worthy and not in a good way. Thankfully, 'I'm a celery get me out of here', doesn't try to flash his boob sat any moment, or  try and get close and personal to the fruit (though he may have a thing for the salad bowl). A humorous take on one of TV's worst shows.

So the long awaited celeb show has hit our screens, and a bunch of brave fool hardly D-Listers battle it out in the wild to try and raise their profile. Or, at least some of them do, as the main draw f the show- McLaren has already bowed out saying 'It's all fake , and there's no real danger'. Quelle surprise. Just what we wanted- the singing popstrel to create her own TV show, in the likes of Oprah and Katie and Peter,   and will no doubt regale us with the exciting antics of her millionaire lifestyle. Yes, we're sure it is hard to be a pint sized Australian in a world full of British bone structure; but even us jaded TV watchers can't contain a quiver at the idea of Kylie and Mr Donovan meeting on screen once more. Now, in case you missed the debut this weekend, here's a little snippet of the Minogue sisters fighting it out Dynasty style. Enjoy.

Gwen Stefani advertises for HP, I predict a trend

Everybody loves L.A.M.B designer Gwen Stefani. She always looks great, even when she is lazing around in her house as seen in the latest ad by HP. In the advert she is wearing a white wife beater with 'Kingston' (her son's name) written across it. I predict that other celebrities will be donning the same style quicker than you can get your hands on t-shirt printing paper. Kate Moss with "Lila", Katie Holmes with "Suri" and SJP with the slightly less unique "James". This is a trend that is sure to cause problems for celebrities with multiple children. How will Angelina pick her favourite? I think printed t-shirts might be the new tattoos.

Samanda release a perfume and single= brains and beauty

Samanda

The surprise Big Brother winners, Sam and Amanda Marchant show how they are more than pretty identical faces with savvy business skills and contracts totalling more than 1 million ! Using their Barbie like charms to their own advantage it shows that their is some grey matter inside that peroxided scalp, as they are now the face of Young and Pure's new perfume, as well as having their own skincare line in the works. Add to this their own exercise video, complete with pink legwarmers and matching outfits, and can you say ker-ching? Mmm hmm. Young and Pure director Lianne Miller thinks they are perfect for their role, “They are fresh, fun and passionate, which was key criteria that I was looking for and when the girls came out of the house we had discussions with them. The girls are lovely, they are very warm, down to earth, energetic and lively.” The twins are excited to have a scent out as well, following on the success of their barbie Girl single. “We're so excited to have our own perfume. The packaging features the same picture as our Barbie CD cover so it should be really easy to find on the shelves."

Melanie B gets top marks on Dancing with the Stars!

Every-ones scariest Spice danced a very dashing rumba with partner  Maskim Chmerkovskiy. The judge said, 'That wasn't a dance, that was a cliff hanger'  which must be a nice boost for Mel. They received a perfect score, 30/30 which must be a nice change for  Miss Brown, after years of not quite making the grade. Spice wise, she's back and zingier than ever. One custody case down, a world tour soon to start, some might say she really has everything going for her now.. and I'd have to agree! Here's to Miss B!

Hear the Spice Girls comeback single, Headline

After all the hype and excitement, now the comeback single from The Spice Girls is with us. The song, Headline (Friendship Never Ends) is a girly ballad in the vein of 2Become1, rather than one of their up tempo dance numbers. Its weird hearing the girls together again on a new song after so long apart, but as long as it means no more Victoria solo stuff, I’m all for it.

Listen to it here and see what you think. Is it a classic destined for greatness or has the magic gone?

Katie and Peter Unleashed tells us a lot of things we didn't want to know

Some people like to keep their private life under wraps, kissing chastely at stations and only holding hands when no one can see. Katie Price and Peter Andre are  not this kind of couple, relishing nothing more than taking an X rated view of Richard and Judy and regaling us on the sofa with all their nocturnal antics much to the discomfort of pretty much everyone who really really doesn't want to picture it. basically the loved up bronzed twosome sit on a sofa, discuss each others genitals and make crude The Sun style jokes. Thankfully it's only on ITV2, but I'm sure Channel 4 is considering it. Oh dear.

New Desperate Housewives hits our screens.. and here's a sneak peek

I love Desperate Housewives, I do, and I like to think there's a little bit of me in every character. In a similar way to Sex and the city I see myself as kooky but cute in a Teri Hatcher way (though without the obvious anorexia) a little frazzled with keeping all my chores and affairs in order (Felicity Huffman) and dream about being effortlessly glamorous and having sex with the gardener (Eva Longoria). OK, I don't have a garden, let alone a gardener, and being Britain they're more likely to be weatherbeaten, ash breathing forty somethings, than nubile young things whose pecs you could eat ice cream off. oh and Marcia cross.. hmm, I don't think my housemates would agree my cleaning standards are up to her level but I'm sure they'd agree I can be a bit obsessive about some things (Hollyoaks mainly)

Suffice to say I am super excited about the new season, so here's a sneak peek.. (and tis very good).

Kelly Brook launches the Kelly Brook perfume

77360713 Sweet lil Strictly Come Dancing star has released a scent, with top notes that are fresh and fruity apparently. Kelly looked radiant in a dazzling hot pink floor length gown as she happily posed next to her life size pink bottle. It may be a little egocentric naming a small after yourself, but hey, every C list celeb is jumping on the celeb bandwagon nowadays so can you blame her for trying to get a slice of that money pie? A full depth scent analysis will be coming to you soon...

Kelly is quite the party animal  and has chosen scents to reflect her funloving lifestyle.' I enjoy both cultural and beach holidays. One of my favourite places is Greece where you have culture, fabulous museums, ruins and archaeological digs if you get bored. Then there are beautiful beaches, blue seas and rustic villages with tavernas serving delicious fish. I like places that offer a bit of everything,' she says.

Finally, Leona Lewis releases video for new song 'Bleeding Love'

With a whole host of new hopefuls ready to battle it out on Saturday nights, it seems that last year’s winner of singing show The X Factor, Leona Lewis, has done nothing with her ‘million pound record contract.’ Yes, there was that Christmas number one cover of Kelly Clarkson, but diva Cowell had been bragging about her talent so much that we had expected her to explode onto the pop scene like a Britney or a Christina.

Well, now the warbling wannabe is back with a video for her new single Bleeding Love. It looks like the record company have tried to throw some money at it, as it avoids that whiff of cheapness that most talent show ‘stars’ emit in their videos. But will it be a hit? Will the writhing minx be a new pin-up girl for the lads and will we wish Ray Quinn had won instead?

Shabnam sings a cover of Shout

Remember Shabnam? The ex Big Brother star is now exercising her debatable vocal talents (if it's not screaming about who ate her Kit Kats we just ain't sure it works) and pouring her little heart out to some questionable eighties style dance moves. I particularly like the way she opens by singing her own name over and over, lest we forget.

Mischa Barton's new film (co-starring t.A.T.u.) looks abysmal

This is just the world’s worst film trailer – EVER. Mischa Barton, former star of the O.C. and international magazine cover girl has obviously fallen on hard times as she stars in ‘Finding t.A.T.u.' a movie enticingly billed as “two teenage girls, Janie who is American and Lana who is Russian, fall in love after meeting at a t.A.T.u. concert and are swept into a dangerous world of obsession, drug abuse and murder.” It's no Citizen Kane, is it?

Warming: the trailer looks like it’s been edited by monkeys and at four minutes is seriously over-long. t.A.T.u. might have been washed up for a while, but Mischa, why? Is this really the best you can get? Fire your agent, like yesterday!

Kelly Clarkson's new video makes her look like a hot goth!

Kelly Clarkson proves she has actual singing credentials as well as a good way with a hair flick as er new song, 'Don't Waste your time', is distinctly hummable and fairly catchy. You have to love the red dress she wears and the moving through the thorns is very picturesque and will definitely capture the angst ridden teens imagination.

Enjoy.

Paris Hilton releases another fragrance, 'Can-Can'

Paris shows us just how multi talented she is by adding another scent to her portfolio. It's called Can-Can and is inspired by Moulin Rouge, so I guess that means she is now entitled to wear slutty courtesan outfits in the name of promoting her new pong. 'I wear it every day', she says. 'Every time I make a new one I wear it all the time'. I guess that explains why she has made so many. You have to love/hate the little girl voice she speaks to the camera in, coyly batting eyelashes and fluffing her hair. Oh so HAWT!

For more pics see after the jump.

So, it looks like she's not even bothering with bottle design anymore, considering it's see-through! Still, she is a dab hand at sultry poses..

Christina Aguilera has a fragrance out! And here's how she did it...

The sexy Xtina seems to be giving up extreme raunch for a more toned down version of erotica.. saucily posing in skimpy undies and a hugely exciting back tattoo for the launch of her new fragrance. Obviously and celeb scent can't sell just on its own merits; there is the necessary overblown ad campaign and random press appearances to raise profile; all of which we have to look forward to this coming month. On the plus side, the bottle is very sexy looking, and we can see Christina rehearsing for her perfume demo here.

Heroes stars get close at post Emmys party

Heroes might have missed out at the Emmys, but the BBC2 phenomenon is still making headlines. Stars Hayden Panetierre (Claire the cheerleader) and co-star Milo Ventimiglia (Peter Petrelli) have been causing tongues to wag with their close relationship (he is 30 and she has just turned 18) and the wagging became even more frantic when the pair turned up together on the red carpet on Sunday night. Now, we can all see for ourselves the budding romance from this footage at a post Emmys party. The news is sure to upset Milo’s female fans and Hayden’s male admirers, but all I could think when watching the clip was how rubbish performing band Duran Duran sounded.

Britney Spears turns up for MTV Video Music Awards

After all the hype, Miss Britney Jean Spears did perform at the MTV Video Music Awards last night in Las Vegas, and now having watched the clip of her ‘performing’ new song ‘Gimme More’, I truly feel that the poor lass has sunk to a new career low. The former pop princess almost forgot to dress, with only a glittery bra and knickers combo to save her blushes, while her new nasty hair extensions just seemed to get in her eyes.

Her appearance onstage sparked huge applause as she opened the show, but by the end there was only polite hand-clapping. Check out 50 Cent’s reaction in the audience - how bored is he? Having mimed (badly) and made little attempt to remember her dance moves, even Britters looked fed-up as if she’d rather be anywhere but there. The pop strumpet was a shadow of her former self and now I suspect that even her die-hard fans will have to concede defeat. Still, it could have been worse - at least K-Fed wasn’t in the crowd pelting her with rotten vegetables.

Jodie Marsh gets married

Silly me - I had never realised that reality TV was a possible avenue for single gals to snag a husband. It didn’t turn out so well for Preston and Chantelle, but Jodie Marsh wasn’t thinking that she might get married with her new show. Oh no, that was the whole concept of her programme 'Totally Jodie Marsh' and like a true media professional/desperate singleton, Jodie threw herself into the challenge undaunted.

With the groom confirmed, namely Matt Peacock, ex-boyfriend of fellow orange-coloured skin flasher Jordan, the two shared their love in a ceremony last weekend attended by their families, close friends (including Vanessa Feltz?) and the MTV camera crew. Surprisingly, from the look of this video it wasn’t too gaudy – maybe they were saving the strippers for the reception.

Peter Andre shows off his pecs to perfection

It's summer time now (finally) and walking down the sun dappled street of London I'm aware of far more white freckly skin and beer bellies than I ever wanted to see. As such, I think it's only fair that we spend a little time gazing at some masculine perfection ( oh and a kicking classic tune). '80s stars Corey Haim and Corey Feldman in TV comeback

Corey_feldman5Hands up who remembers the ‘80s? Chances are if you do, you will remember at least one of the two Coreys. Corey Haim (known as the Haimster, now I’m showing my age) and best friend and sidekick Corey Feldman were young Hollywood actors in films such as ‘The Lost Boys’. Haim was always considered the better looking of the two (not so much now) while Feldman was the funny one with the goofy smile.

Now with the ‘80s over, times must be tough for the two Coreys as they adjust to a world where you can’t admit to liking Michael Jackson or wearing shellsuits. Both have kissed goodbye to their film careers and after years of drug-taking and obscurity are keen to be back on the gravy trail. Enter their new reality show, which sees Haim move in with Feldman and his wife. The show, imaginatively titled ‘The Two Coreys’ has yet to start on US TV, but from this YouTube clip, American audiences are in for a real treat.

There's nothing like baring your breasts on a daily basis to incite public disdain, so you at least have to give Jodie credit for being able to take the piss out of herself in this intro to her series. Not to worry – the diva super-model isn’t stupid – she’s not actually caught on film eating the sugary snacks. Cosmetic surgeries of the stars revealed

Air-brushing, good lighting, constant supervision from a make-up artist (how very Victoria Beckham) – there are many ways for celebrities to look better on the front cover of a magazine than how they look first thing in the morning. What is quite depressing is how many of them take it a step further and get cosmetic surgery. Slebs, with the media, present the world with unattainable ideas of beauty and then struggle to meet their own standards. For those of you having a spot break-out today, hate your wonky nose or wish you had fuller lips, never fear as Star Trip is at hand to make you feel better. We present a quite revealing YouTube clip of stars who have had a bit of help from their surgeon, from those you knew had, to those that you didn’t. According to this, no-one in Tinseltown is actually naturally good-looking – score!

Stars do their bit for charity (again)

Celebs just love doing their bit for charity. Often this involves a pop concert or a telethon thingy, either way they want us to part with our cash for a good cause. This time the good cause is Amnesty International’s campaign to make some noise. The advert here features many the famous bod riffing on this theme in their own ‘quirky way’ and really is a case of blink-and-you-miss-em. It’s one of the pet projects of George Clooney and features everyone from top Hollywood stars like Tim Robbins and Joaquin Phoenix to Patrick Kielty. Yes, you read correctly – that Northern Irish ‘comedian’ from 'Fame Academy'. These charity adverts really do need to be discerning with the folks they enlist.

Victoria comes to America.. they're welcome to her!

Debate has raged in the office today as to whether the terrible TV offering that was 'Victoria: Coming to America', was a spoof, or just proof of Victoria's head emptying itself of brain cells. Whilst her franchise and popularity is huge, I'm not surprised the idea of a mini series got canned as the show struggled to fill the hour slot it held. It featured such delights as Victoria twirling in a dress and house hunting in the £11 million range. She sighs about how busy she is, yet has time to spend half an hour purchasing and dressing a blow up doll to resemble her. I'm going to try to avoid puns about hot air, and dies with a prick but oops, there you go. I find it amusing that her two best friends are her make up artist and her hairdresser; people she pays to be around her. Enjoy.

P Diddy needs you!

I really think this could be serious! Rap mogul and self-proclaimed 'bad boy for life' P Diddy has uploaded a job advert to YouTube. Yes, Diddy is on the hunt for a new personal assistant and is inviting applications via the popular video-sharing website. This is interesting timing considering his recent split from long-time partner and mother to his brood Kim Porter. He appreciates that the job will be tough, and there's a good chance he will "scream at you, go crazy, keep you up at late hours, have you sleep-deprived." Mmm, but what's the health plan like?

The Sheila's Wheels girls go commercial

The vocal warbling from those feisty Australians have now created such a fan base that the singers feel confident about moving to the mainstream. So, no more 'women make the safest drivers/ you could save a bunch of fivers' jingle, now we have such quality lyrics as 'everybody wants the sun/nobody wants the rain/everybody wants the joy/nobody wants the pain'. I can't wait. The album launch is set for September, but in the mean time you can pass your eye over some of their 'classic' hits.

The Paris Hilton interview with Larry King

Apparently her time inside gave her the opportunity to discover 'what was important to her'. She did comment on her bible holding antics though, 'I’ve always been religious. I went to Catholic school as a child. And I’ve always had a sense of spirituality, but even more so now, after being in jail,' yet unsurprisingly when questioned she didn't have a favourite biblical passage to hand. I'm sure she'll have prepared one for interview number 2..

Akon gets overfamiliar with an underage fan

978_akon Now, I don't know much about this new-fangled music you kids call hip-hop. I know it involves flash cars, sexy women, and an awful lot of gyrating, but that's about it. One thing I do know quite a bit about, though, is the law. Laws governing the way adults treat children, laws governing consent, laws governing assault, that sort of thing.

Akon, a famous rapper I've never heard of, seems to know an awful lot about hip-hop. He doesn't seem to know much about the law. At least, I hope not. Because if he did he wouldn't have enticed a 14-year-old girl on stage to gyrate against him in a fake competition to win a trip to Africa, and then flip her over and simulate sex with her, flinging her around the stage like a slowly deflating blow-up sex doll.

And it's all on film, after the jump. Did these boys learn nothing from R. Kelly?

Avril_lavigne054 Yesterday we reported that Avril Lavigne basically said that Britney Spears was weak for not being able to handle the pressure of being famous, and that she "can't complain" about the paparazzi as "that's the job". Now, I really can't sit here and defend everything that Britney's done over the past 6 months, but after watching this video of Avril being a humor-less bitch while being interviewed on Popworld, I really, really dislike the kid. Knut is currently being fostered by humans at Berlin Zoo after he was rejected by his mother. Fun House set for adult return?

Remember Fun House? It featured slides, ball pool and Pat Sharp's dazzling mullet. Well, Sharp has told the world that he wants to present a new series of the show. The Children's ITV programme entertained kids from 1989 to 1999, but Sharp insisted that he would only want to be involved in a new adult version. "I wouldn't mind doing an adult Fun House if the right TV company got behind it - and wanted me and the original twins to come and do it," Pat told The Sun. "But I wouldn't do it for kids because it would look totally perverted. If ITV were brave enough, I think it would suit Ant and Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway time slot." For those of you who can't recall the original, here is a video for you.

We all like a good soap don't we? Of course, fans of soaps will be all too aware of show spin-offs. You have late night versions, calendars and of course, the tie-in single. Sadly, for every Kylie, there's a Nick Berry, Anita Dobson and Stefan Dennis. Eclipsing all of the worst Eastenders efforts is the terrible Woolpackers with their line-dance number, Hillbilly Rock, Hillbilly Roll. Ten points if you can think of a soap single that's worse than this, and a million points to anyone who can watch this all the way through.

Breaking news is that Charlotte Church is preggers. Her management issue this statement: "Charlotte has asked us to bring you the news exclusively today via CharlotteChurch.com that she is pregnant. For reasons of privacy, Charlotte has chosen not to comment on this matter, other than to confirm that she and her boyfriend, Gavin Henson, are delighted. In an ideal world, we would not have made this announcement so early in the pregnancy. However, due to recent speculation and persistent questions from the media about this most private of matters, Charlotte felt she had no choice other than to go public and she was keen to ensure that her fans had the opportunity to read the truth here first." Simon Cowell is a filthy rapscallion isn't he? When he's not talking up his own worth, he's shooting everyone he doesn't like down with pithy vitriol. Well, in this (not fictional in anyway at all) video, we see just how far Cowell is prepared to go to show someone his disdain.

Paris Hilton, the catwalk and the paparazzi

Paris Hilton is a celebrity that no-one is sure about. What does she do? Does she deserve the stick she gets? Is she pretty? To be honest, I've no idea, but watching the following video, it's little wonder her head is in bits.

Milli Vanilli movie is in the works (WTF?)

Horrific news, everyone. Universal Pictures will be producing a film about the lip-synching stars Milli Vanilli. What's even stranger is that Jeff Nathanson, the director of Catch Me If You Can, is on board to direct the film. The twosome were stripped of their Grammy award in 1990, when it was revealed that they weren't actually singing on their album All or Nothing which included their hit song Girl You Know It's True. The movie has apparently been approved by former Milli Vanillia member Fabrice Morvan, and by the estate of Rob Pilatus, who passed away in 1998 from a drug overdose. God help us all.

Corrine Bailey Rae's acoustic version of 'Like A Star'

Tonight, aside from it being that dreaded lovely-dovey holiday, the Brits are on! Although Lily Allen and Amy Winehouse are both the favorites to win the British Female category, don't forget that the incredibly talented Corinne Bailey Ray is also a nominee. Such a tough category to decide on, but after listening to her sing the acoustic version of Like A Star, I would be very pleased if she won. Good luck, Corrine.

Justin Timberlake's 'What Goes Around' video

The music video for 'What Goes Around (Comes Back Around)' starring JT's supposed love interest, Scarlett Johansson is not only extremely well done, but also kinda creepy. I'm beginning to wonder if Justin has some anger issues with women. The production of this video is supposedly the reason that Justin and Cameron Diaz broke-up, and although Scarlett and Justin have been rumoured to be an item, Scarlett attempted to put those rumours to rest last night at the Grammy Awards. Enjoy!

Sean Connery as you've never seen him before...

Sean Connery is suave isn't he? He's everyone's favourite Bond and is generally too cool for school. Well, like most actors, he has a couple of blemishes on his CV... notably, the completely mental Zardoz. A talking stone head that spits rifles at a Connery seen sporting some dodgy trunks and a ponytail... and that's only half of it. What was he thinking?

T.R. Knight talks on Ellen

Tr_knight Last October there was the huge amount of drama surrounding the TV show Grey's Anatomy. Apparently, Isaiah Washington referred to cast mate T.R. Knight as a "f****t" while arguing with Dr.McDreamy Patrick Dempsey. Washington has made statements denying the incident, and that, "There is no way I could do anything so vile." Talk of the controversy died down over the past few months, until Washington brought it up again during interviews at the Golden Globes. He's sticking to his story by denying he ever said such a thing, and added the pompous comments of, "I love gay. I wanted to be gay. Please let me be gay."

It would be really nice to think that Washington never said such a thing, but after watching the interview below, with Ellen DeGeneres and T.R. Knight, you may start to wonder why the hell Washington still has a job. TV Guide's Michael Ausiello recently wrote an article wondering the exact same thing. Ausiello said Washington's "continued employment on a show that wears its diversity as a badge of honor is the height of hypocrisy". He also went on to say that ABC should do "the right thing" and "fire Washington".

Especially with the racial controversy surrounding the Big Brother house in the UK, it really makes one wonder if these TV stations really care about the well being of their cast, or just making entertaining television. Bullying should be unacceptable. Making racist and offensive comments that degrade someone's lifestyle or background is disgusting. So, why are television stations such as ABC and Channel 4 not growing more of a backbone and setting a proper example?

Britney has most watched online video of 2006

This weekend ViralVideoChart.com released its top ten list of the most watched celebrity videos. Top honors went to Britney Spears, as the stoned video of her burping and contemplating time travel was viewed 3,311,19 times. ("HUH?!?!")

Lindsay Lohan's "Paris Hilton is a C**t" video, as well as the video where Keira Knightly plays "Rain Drops Keep Falling On My Head" on her teeth made the cut. However, I find the most interesting video on this list to be Paris Hilton "singing" to Hugh Hefner on his birthday. And by "interesting" I mean "so disgustingly untalented that I burst into giggle fits of glee". Her talents as a singer are absolutely breath taking. Enjoy!

Get ready for your ears to drop off and hide under the sofa trembling. It seems that the lawyers for the pair aren't happy with this video unless you write IT'S A SPOOF lots of times. A video montage of Britney's fall from pop glory

The world has been pretty harsh on Britney lately...And, well, who the hell could blame us? She's flashing her "precious" to the world?! But I think this backlash against Britney is so strong because we really do care about her. She was our navel baring sweetheart that became our red neck, barefoot and pregnant tabloid queen.

I think this video sums up everyone's feelings perfectly. Set to a beautiful, acoustic version of "Toxic" it follows Britney's career through music videos, interviews and magazine covers. It documents her tumbling, falling, and eventually ending up naked and pregnant in a fur robe. What's even sadder is that it doesn't even include the latest debauchery. Oh baby, baby.

Jordan and Peter Andre's "Whole New World" video

The chemistry between these two positively seeps with natural talent. Sure they completely ripped off parts of Justin Timberlake's video for Sexyback, but Jordan's 48 costume changes throughout the entire video is such a visual treat. Did I mention the marriage proposal on a balloon at the end? If this video doesn't win all kinds of awards, I will be shocked. Shocked, I tell you.

If you can stop laughing long enough to actually watch this video in it's entirety, please do. It's worth it. This may one of the best things I've seen in a long time. It is pure gold. Magnificent, even.

Thank God they have a pre-nup, after the success of this video who knows how much money they'll make. I mean, we're talking tens, if not hundreds of pounds!

Her deadpan wit lets her get away with murder. Keep an eye out for her... she's young, funny and pretty and may well be destined for bigger things!

A Few Thoughts On Britney Spears & Kevin Federline's Appearance at the Teen Choice Awards

  • Firstly, Jessica Simpson introducing Britney Spears and seeming excited about it. Girl, didn't think you'd like to be showed up that way.
  • Tell us the truth. Britney doesn't have a fashion stylist anymore, right?
  • Love the gum-snapping, it's ever so attractive hearing your saliva boomed throughout a massive audience like that.
  • Begrudgingly, we must admit she looks darn good with dark hair.
  • Anyone else notice that when she said the words 'my career', she shifted her eyes sideways? I think she realises along with us that it's a joke of a career.
  • Hmm, having a live pianist doesn't exactly help with the ghetto image, K-Fed.
  • Anyone else confused by the two other rappers who unfortunately bear a resemblance to the Fed?
  • Ahh, so the confusion was intentional, with K-Fed actually being the pianist. Triiiiicky!
  • He's meant to be a former back-up dancer, obviously he forgot the moves long ago.
  • The only remotely good thing about the song is the chorus, which coincidentally, he doesn't sing, natch.
  • Hopefully after the show, the producers offered free tetnus jabs to members of the audience in the first few rows - did you see the amount of saliva flying out of his mouth?

Thursday Top 10: Ways To Make Yourself A YouTube Star

Youtube_2 I'll spare you the blurb about YouTube being a revolution in online media, a truly democratised broadcasting platform, and the pinnacle of user-generated content. You know this, and if you didn't, 768 high-brow articles in the press have already told you so.

More importantly, it's become the prime outlet for camcorder and cameraphone users to make an arse out of themselves, and win praise/wonder/disgust (delete as appropriate) from millions of their peers. But what are the prime ingredients for YouTube success - what separates a viral hit from a barely-noticed miss? Poking around the top rated videos provides a few answers. [Stuart Dredge]

Youtube_lipsynching 1. Lip-synching
YouTube has single-handedly killed off karaoke (almost) in favour of lip-synching. If you can leap around your bedroom miming along to a suitable hit, you're guaranteed a big audience. Well, you are if you do it right - the standard needs to be considerably higher even than you'd see from actual pop stars on TV. Extra points are scored for wildly unsuitable clashes (young girls doing gruffy-voiced grunge males, blokes doing Barbie Girl etc).
Examples: Here and here

Youtube_funnycats 2. Animals do the funniest things
If it's popular on cobbled-together Saturday Night clip shows, why shouldn't it work on YouTube as well? And thankfully you don't have to put up with a presenter mugging between vids. Cats seem to do particularly well on YouTube for some reason (that reason being they reliably fall off things or go mad when you point a camera at them). Obviously, the most common way is to nick footage from the TV, but that's just lazy.
Examples: Here and here

Youtube_originalidea 3. Have an original idea no-one else would bother to do
One video this week epitomises this - a girl who's taken a photo of her face once a day for THREE years, and then strung them all together into a video-montage. With music. It's actually quite spooky when you watch it, the music's a bit 'serial killer'. The advantage to this strategy is that if anyone wants to copy you, it'll take three years before they get their version up on YouTube.

Kimbofight 4. Fight strangers in the street
Works best of all if you're homeless, for reasons that sociologists will be puzzling over for centuries to come. No-holds-barred fighting competitions are hugely popular on YouTube, so if you don't mind a few cuts and bruises (or shattered femurs, wrenched-off ears...), it could be the way to go. One street fighter, Kimbo Slice, has actually turned his vids into a lucrative merchandising business.
Examples: Here and here

Youtube_okgo 5. Get your camphone out at gigs
Seeing a good band? Don't dive into the moshpit or crowd surf from the upper balcony to the stage. Instead, stand at the back ABSOLUTELY still and record a song or two using your cameraphone. It doesn't sound much fun, but plenty of people are doing it, then sticking the results on YouTube the next day. Particularly popular when a band is playing new tunes, or haven't played live for a while. Record labels don't like it, but YouTubers most emphatically do.
Examples: Here and here

Youtube_halo 6. Be bloody good at videogames
Games never did live up to their billing as the next big spectator sport, despite a slew of mooted TV shows which'd let you watch Unreal Tournament geeks going about their shooty business. Funny, that. But on YouTube, amazing (or amazingly silly) gaming feats will gain you plenty of attention, especially when they involve making Halo characters dance about to a song about cats. Obviously.
Examples: Here and here

Youtube_doraspoof 7. Corrupt innocent childrens' characters
An old favourite here, harking back to making your Sooty and Sweep puppets hurl four-letter abuse at your He-Men when you were younger. C'mon, surely that wasn't just me? Oh. Anyway, spoofs and parodies of popular kids TV shows are ever popular on YouTube, whether it's Pokemon miming to Since You've Been Gone (neat cross-pollination with category 1 there),
Examples: Here and here

Youtube_drunk 8. Drink. Lots.
Fratboy antics rack up views like no-one's business, dude. So grab yourself a bottle of cheap beer spirits / cleaning fluid, set your webcam going, and prepare for fame. If you can manage to be sick at the end of it, so much the better. So there's people downing pints, bottles and yards of ale, and in one memorable case, a chap playing the Jeremy Kyle Show drinking game with snakebite'n'black, and the guy learning to speak French while chugging white wine. Now that's stupid brave.
Examples: Here and here

Youtube_animation 9. Rip obscure Japanese cartoons off the telly
Maybe it's because this stuff is hard to get on DVD over here, but YouTube is packed with episode-length cartoons called stuff like 'Great Teacher', 'Ayashi no Ceres' and 'Ouran High School Host Club' (I don't think that's as seedy as it sounds. At least, I hope it's not). If you've got a supply of this stuff and know your way around DVD-ripping software, you'll never be short of a few thousand viewers.
Examples: Here and here

Youtube_shiny 10. Make high-quality one-minute vids reviewing hot gadgets of the day
Oh, come on. You didn't think we were going to get through this post without a big fat plug for the video reviews on our sister Tech Reviews blog, did you? We've got no shame.

Liam Gallagher. Whether you like the tunes of Oasis or not, you can always guarantee he'll give you good value for money. Like when he refers to Ben Elton as a 'geezer' and contemplates an Oasis musical.

David Icke rants on Wogan

Years ago, David Icke became a laughing stock. He appeared on Wogan and claimed the world was about to be ravaged by disaster and war. So, when Wogan invited Icke to take up the chase, how daft did he look? Or did he talk sense? Over to you...

Wossy bullies David Cameron

When a politician goes on the box, it's usually a bit dull, and often infuriating. Well, when David Cameron stepped onto the Woss chatshow floor, he was in for a gentle bullying to make us all laugh heartily!

Dandy Warhols get burrito'd on YouTube

If you haven't already seen the movie 'Dig!' then go grab the DVD now - it's the funniest rockumentary since Spinal Tap (with the added bonus of being actually real). It's based on the comical rivalry between US bands the Dandy Warhols and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. And if you need more persuading, how about clicking below to watch a crafty YouTube mash-up of the film's trailer, except with the musicians replaced by burritos? You know it makes sense... Single 'PopoZao' Was Fake According To Kevin Federline

The Cletus The Slack-Jawed Yokel doppelganger, Kevin Federline, is claiming to have 'Punk'd' the world three times over by releasing a fake debut single from his much-hyped up album, Playing With Fire. The single 'PopoZao', which he originally said was 'the shizz', was released 'so that people would look at him like a talentless wannabe rapper,' according to reports. K-Fed allegedly claimed 'that way, when I come out with my real sh**, people are f****** blown away!' 'At first, when I put out PopoZao, people were kinda laughing at me. I did it on purpose so people would look at me exactly the way they did'. More like when the single was released to the sound of laughter you had your people come up with a really lame excuse just like that. [Katherine Hannaford]

YouTube Video Of Mr Bungle's Red Hot Chili Peppers Parody

Please excuse this minor deviation from our usual coverage of ramshackle D-listers, I just found this amazing video on YouTube, featuring Mr Bungle doing a parody of the Red Hot Chili Peppers back in 1999. The lead singer in Bungle is Mike Patton, from Faith No More, Fantomas, Tomahawk and Peeping Tom, who reportedly has an ongoing feud with Anthony Kiedis. Make sure you catch Trevor Dunn pretending to shoot up, and Trey Spruance 'snorting' cocaine half-way through. There are still tickets available for The Peppers' remaining London dates this weekend. Enjoy! [Katherine Hannaford]

Pete Doherty Interview Part 2

So what do you think of the shambolic singer? Poet, Idol, Sex god or just plain daft, let us know your thoughts. Personally, (as a full-blooded woman, mind), I found him quite...Attractive? Please don't spam me for saying so. I could definitely leave the eyeshadow, but other than that I must say I can see why Kate found him so appealing. All I want to do now is give the poor love a big hug and say 'cheer up Pete! It's not the end of the world!' Excuse me whilst I go throw up now...

Kylie Minogue Speaks Out on Cancer Fight

Kylie's so far kept silent about her cancer battle, save for a few brief public statements, and climbing up on stage with sister Dannii a few weeks ago (presumably just to remind her who's the globally-loved pop megastar, and who's the rubbish cheese-siren in this relationship). But stand by for an emotional one-hour interview on Sky One - 'Kylie In Her Own Words' - where she talks publicly for the first time in-depth about events during the last year, and her plans for the future. For a taster, click on the video below, which is the 30-second trailer for the interview, which is due to be screened on Sunday 16th July. [Stuart Dredge]

Guns'n'Roses' Hammersmith Gig Goes Off With A Bang

You know what I love about proper stadium-RAWK bands? The pyrotechnics. Rockets, flamethrowers, big sparkly things, it's all good. Guns'n'Roses didn't let anyone down on this score when they played London's Hammersmith Apollo this week. They came on stage over an hour and a half late, but when they kicked into Welcome To The Jungle with an enormous BOOM, everyone forgave them. Want proof? Watch the YouTube clip below, which is the whole song recorded in wobbly camphone-vision, and wait for the hair-raising (and singeing if you were in the front row) explosion about 40 seconds in. See Paris Hilton's Debut Music Video Here - If You Dare!

I'm sorry, but today we just can't resist showing you YouTube clips of really, really bad singing. In this case, it's Paris Hilton's debut music video, 'Stars Are Blind.' Not so sure about stars, Paris, but I'm sure your fans are blind, as well as deaf. As one viewer on YouTube wrote, 'She's just got an expensive webcam, basically,' - if the sand in the clip were human, the police would arrest Paris for rape. [Katherine Hannaford]

See Robbie Williams' Football Stars Triumph

It's a wonderful thing when the worlds of football and celebrity collide, as Posh'n'Becks, Ashley'n'Cheryl and, er, Dwight'n'Jordan will testify. And never more so than last weekend at the Soccer Aid event, when an England team captained by Robbie Williams beat the Rest Of The World 2-1 in an entertaining match. Relive the goals thanks to this YouTube vid (below), which will leave readers outside the UK wondering who Jonathan Wilkes is and why he counts as a celebrity. Actually, it'll leave most UK readers wondering the same... [Stuart Dredge]

Every 1980s Pop Video Worth Seeing Is Here

Man, YouTube is great. The video-sharing website is packed with goodies, from the bizarre to the, well, bizarre. And lots of stuff in between. Anyway, while reading the excellent Mogblog, we came across a link to this webpage, which rounds up LOADS of links to 1980s music videos which are watchable on YouTube. It's got all the classics, plus dozens that will have you crying with laughter. Have a look - I've spent the last 10 minutes watching Manowar's 'Blow Your Speakers' on a loop - click on it above to see why. [Stuart Dredge]
